Very Cumbersome. I wish the app had a drop-down feature for amount of tickets, dates, times and theaters, would keep the amount of tickets the same unless changed and would disable any times that were completely sold out. I live near multiple theaters, so having to continue to come all the way out of the "Seat Selection" option back to the main page to pick a different time/ theater because there was only one or no tickets when i was looking for two tickets is annoying and wastes time.

Works quite well. It does constantly frustrate me that I can't just set it to my favorite theater and it maintain that setting and just go to that theater each time I open the app...instead, you have to just wait for a bunch of other nonsense to load before you can navigate to where you want to go...just like any non-personalized app that treats you like a new customer each and every time it opens. Otherwise, if you have no clue where you want to go, it is convenient that it offers you places.

Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't, and that's the real issue. It's honestly a 3 star app, but if it works great 9 times and doesn't work once, that is a strongly weighted failure. Many of the links in the app, particularly for refunds, don't work and the help system is just there to post links to other articles. Typically it's safer to buy tickets through the theater's website, since Fandango and each theater are such separate entities.

Easy to use, a few fixes could make it great. Overall the app is really good. Lots of theater options, trailers and I like the QR codes for tickets. My only complaint is, depending on how you select the theater, sometimes the movie showtime buttons don't show up fully on the screen. Probably an aspect ratio issue, as you can see part of the buttons but can't read the times. Also, I wish the qty selection wouldn't take you to another screen. Just put +/- buttons to select qty of tickets.

This app is always hit or miss, occassionally it works flawlessly but more often than not it doesn't work without one of several annoying issues. For one occasionally the app will fail to load any information for a selected theater, or day. Other times the app will take forever to advance from one page to the next which when you're trying to complete a last-minute ticket purchase, can be extremely frustrating.

i use it because it's the most convenient for comparing showings. however the app's mechanics and layout are clunky and awkward. the transition screens and navigating the menus are extremely difficult. the payment service utilized by the app needs an overhaul as well. on multiple occasions it's lost my order or failed to cancel it. will update after changes are made.

The app is absolutely terrible on an Android. Had to uninstall/reinstall to get My Theaters to appear. Then, after searching for theaters in a specific city (not my home city) and then entering a movie's info from that theater, when going back using the arrow in the app or even the phone, it takes you all the way back out to the main movies listing and you have to go back into search and bring up the last theater again. Other than that, one critique I would have is that the list of movies doesn't have it's ratings visible in the list view...you have to go to the movie's page in order to see any ratings info. Going back to MovieFone or whatever it has become now...this app is waaay too frustrating. The user experience sucks.

Overall I've loved this app. But for the last two months I've had to uninstall and reinstall constantly. It for some reason won't load the "my account" page after I've been signed in. It just stays on the loading screen indefinitely. This is incredibly frustrating when I've bought a ticket for a movie and am now trying to pull it up to get in the theater. And then other times whenever I go to buy a ticket I'm forced to sign in again even if I've previously signed in.

It takes too much navigation to get to movies saved as "my movies" (it should be the first tab, not the last), but otherwise I really enjoy this app. The favorite theater option works well, and the location services is fast and accurate. The ads are a bit of a nuisance, but they are at least for current movies and not too intrusive.

I haven't been able to see my purchases in the app for many months now... at least the emails successfully get sent so I can still use the tickets. Also, the $5 reward system is very difficult to use, and misleading - e.g. you can't search for a movie and redeem, you have to redeem, but only in a way that makes you think you're redeeming for a SPECIFIC movie - even though you use the code for any movie, e.g. on Vudu... If the interface were improved and purchases worked as expected, I'd say 4 stars.

Really disappointing. I used to use this app all the time. I Uninstalled it years ago and decided to give it another chance. Still doesn't work as it use to. I bought 3 tickets at separate times, but can only see 2 of them. It doesn't even show the seat being reserved when I went back to double check. I panicked and thought something happened with the purchase process. Call Fandango Cust Serv. They could see all 3 tickets on their end so they had to text me my third one. Disappointing

Ap was working great until a few days. Now I can't open the Accounts tab. I had a heck of a time pulling up my confirmation numbers last night for the movie i purchased tickets for a month ago. I've reinstalled the ap but that didn't do anything to fix the problem. You get charged a convenience fee but nothing about it was convenient last night!

Love the convenience & great to give kids gift cards to redeem. Not to difficult to exchange if accidentally picking wrong movie. But it took a few minutes & stress to find out how to get exchange if you use a gift card & picking wrong movie or not being able to make movie. So it was a bit worrisome at first. However, after doing 'digging' to find, the process was quick & immediate! So I give that 4 instead of 5. If easier to find how to exchange, I would give 5 stars! All in all a good app.

Update: Still the same issues plus new ones. I don't think they test before deployment. Just because the dev says "Yeah, it's perfect!" doesn't mean it's true. Leave the app, for the map maybe, and it forgets where you were. Phone functionality is ignored so, for example, pressing "back" often won't work as expected. Previous issues: Still ripoff artists. App is horribly slow and sometimes not functional. They made it more slow with injecting more ads.

This used to be a decent app. Easy to find theaters around me and save favorites. Easy to find upcoming movies and get notifications on when tickets go on sale (a must when your theater goes reserved seating). Buying tickets and selecting seats are easy enough. Strangely the app got worse over the last few months. Forced fullscreen random ads (on a purchasing service!?) are horrible to deal with. You cannot get pre-purchased tickets refunded or turned into credit on the app, you have to go on their website and chat or call in (why!?). Can't use your (very quickly to expire) VIP points and discount codes/credit in the same transaction. Pretty sad. Like others have said, it might be time to just migrate to my local theater chain's app.

I had a vudu account, but now that it has changed to fandango at home, I have issues logging in. I keep getting a message that information is incorrect and to try again. I've changed the password about 3 times already but still get the same message, and then I contacted customer support, but they are no help. All they tell me is to disconnect from VPN and don't offer any more help. I also had about $40 on the account, which I'm sure I've lost.

It's a premium station to stream movies at a modest price. I'd be better off getting cable TV because pricing is getting to much. Plus, there are other apps to choose from that are free. And you don't need to make an account at these low-budgetting streaming apps sites. One thing these streamers can pay attention to is STOP showing the same movies to an individual after they've watched a particular movie or TV series. Make it better than yesterday!

App woks great for purchasing tickets and showtimes. You can save upcoming releases in a list and be notified of when tickets go on sale. However, two months ago out automatically signed me out and won't allow me to sign back in or create a new password. My account is inaccessible and I have digital movies thru Vudu that I can't access. I have emailed support several times with no response. I've used this app for years.

I love Fandango for the convenience of purchasing tickets for the movies, however my one issue for the app is that applying points for discounts is entirely too cumbersome and complicated. I can do it easily online, but not on the app. If that process was better, it would be so much better because we go to the movies often, collect the points, but see them expire time after time.

Great. I installed with an hour to order a ticket for next month before the movie tonight starts in the theater. It's not connected to VUDU, so I go through the process of setting up a new account. Now I add it to my passwords. Then, password doesn't match whatever this app has decided to change the information into. The movie is about to start now. Joy oh joy what fun. I hope no one thinks AI is smart enough to take over. It can't do the equivalent of changing it's shorts
