This app is primarily for fasting, but adds in water and step counting. You can't remove either. I am disabled, I cannot and will never get to the step goal assigned to me. There is no way to change the step goal or to remove it. As this is a constant frustration of mine already, I have uninstalled the app. If you do not wish to see goals that you are not interested in or cannot complete, find a different app.

I have had this app for a long time and loved it, even paying the 79.99 for the yearly membership. However, lately, the app keeps changing the meal tracking features- first you could write down what you ate with the option of keeping track of calories, carbs, etc. Now you can still write but have to keep track of calories, carbs, etc. or it won't let you track your meal. I was going to cancel my membership but when I tried to cancel, I was told I don't have a membership. I need this fixed.

It used to be great. However, it has now been unisnstalled after 3.5 years, as most things require a subscription. I had the subscription the first year, and it didn't really add anything significant. Now, it has become the most obnoxious app with pop-up ads for every notification and lots of random ware. I have my schedule down. There are much better IF apps now, and this one used to be my favorite. I would have paid for another subscription, but the ads are just way too much interfering. Done.

UOFATE: 3/2024 it is now useless app. Way too many ads!!! As soon as you clear one pop up another shows up... literally within seconds. the main page is also so crowded with TEMU ads that it's no longer user friendly. waste of time and money DO MOT RECOMMEND Been using this app for over a year now, all of the sudden.. it keep kicking me out. I deleted and reinstalled but still doing it.. hopefully they can fix the issue soon or I'll have to find a new fasting app

Used to love the app but there's something up with it now and it freezes and won't let me enter information; and when I do enter info like starting a fast, just moments afterwards it erases what i entered. I took a "vacation" with the app which ended January 15th, and it hasn't worked correctly since. I purchased the pro version and can't even use the app now. I should get my money back!

Changed to 1 star. With the free functionality already severely limited, I can see value in paying for it. But now you've steadily ramped up your monetization efforts into full blown CASINO ads, using Dark Patterns and all. I get you need to pay the bills and all that, but any thought I had of paying is out the window now. I'll actively seek alternatives that won't force gambling ads as a way to extort revenue from me.

Not gonna lie. I used to love this app, but as something stated as the number 1 free fasting app worldwide, it's not free. There's not even a free rendition with ads. I have to pay a subscription to do anything other than punch in my weight. I can't calculate water, or meals, or anything without paying a fee. I understand paying a sub for recipes, or connecting with the community, but the app defeats it's purpose if I have to make my own log for everything in a journal.

Aggressive ads to purchase the full version of the app every few hours and unable to adjust privacy settings. First one is self explanatory, the constant notifications to buy the app and that this is a "special limited deal" are non stop. When I adjust privacy settings to not share my data, the setting will not save and keeps defaulting to share my data. Try this in the app: Go to settings > privacy settings > Manage options, and turn off the option to "Use linked data for select advertising"

I would love a dark mode. And the ability to schedule 36:12 or so for alternate day or M/W/F fasting. At the moment I have to schedule 24 hours for one day and 12 hours the next, or do a custom length fast by hand every time. The first option tries to count it as two different fasts. I can probably cheat your frosty system that way but that's not my motivation. The second option really isn't any more convenient than not using an app at all, except I get a countdown. Kinda regret subscribing tbh

This app makes me be more accountable for sticking to and tracking my fasting experience but also gives me better suggestions on what my diet could consist of. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because I wish that when you make a meal you find on the nutrition coach, you can tap a button on the recipe you used to add it automatically to your meals and select which meal you made it for. The scanning is great idea but it doesn't accurately record my food like you think it would.

Likes this app at first. But now you can't record a stop or start time and water intake at rhe same time as you will be hit with adds . Would have given more stars , but after over a year of use the adds are just to much. I like the app to keep track, but the adds are unneeded . I was able to change and not see them with one update, but now that option is gone. Not a great model if you want people to purchase the additional features. Which I do not need .

This app has kept me on track for success. It has quirky little phrases to assist you with tracking your water intake. My favorite is, "You're not a cactus. Drink some water." 😆 I also love how the app has animation explanations so you can see at what hour what is going on with your body. The app also has nice recipes to assist with meal prep and ideas on what veggies and fruit to eat. All and all, I am enjoying the app. It's full of entertaining information, and I'm learning a lot from it.

I'm using the free version of Fastic and I love it! I can track my food for free, which is something I loved in Noom (a pay-for thing). However it doesn't automatically label foods as green, yellow, or red. You have to self-label. It also allows me to track my water intake. I do wish the barcode scanning wasn't paywalled, though. It also keeps track of my steps. Haven't been successful in fasting regularly, but hoping to see some progress as I continue!

It's aight. probably will stop using it after my month is up. mainly wanted it for the "scan barcode" to keep track of food intake but of course it doesn't work on a single item.. so I have to enter everything manually, rummage through the kitchen looking at everything I used after eating. Sometimes have to guess on items. Not worth the price.

It's pretty good. A lot of apps these days are a bit corrupt and keep upping the price of things without adding features. The price of this app has never changed. They don't ask more from us, and I appreciate that so much. If you guys are going to up the price, don't make the mistakes other apps make and not add features while upping the price!

Features don't work. I purchase the subscription for the supposedly ease of tracking meals. The camera option consistently failed to work. The water tracking doesn't work correctly. The app is over crowded. I'd like to get a refund but I doubt that will happen.

I got monthly subscription and won't renew next month. For me ... Entering meals was awkward and buggy. Entering fasts was awkward. Didn't adjust exercises based on what I did. I would rather use a spreadsheet to do the same with less aggravation. On the other hand ... It WAS educational and highly motivating. At least now I know what to look for while I look for a different app.

One of the few apps worth paying for. I had previously used the Zero Fasting app but it deteriorated to a point where even starting the timer was a 50/50 chance of it actually working, or just crashing, but fastic is stable, responsive, and has a ton of cool charts and measures to help keep you motivated. The "snap your food" thing where you take a photo of your food and it estimates the calories is a bit of a corny gimmick and not accurate but otherwise the app is great and I love the lessons.

Ruined by ads I wanted to subscribe after getting used to the free version but everything is behind a pay wall. Water, calorie counting, fasting information, healthy habits. I got push notifications for info behind a paywall. I'm probably deleting and its been only a few hours! There's nothing marking whats free or plus version so it wastes time. It is a cute setup and design but it feels like a money grab.

Highly recommend if you want to start fasting !! Doesn't tell how long you should fast but rather how comfortable you feel fasting for a certain amount of time. I like the questions they ask you to ensure you both physical and mental health . I love this app. The ads don't bother me at all. However, they do have a subscription that you can buy at a cheap price for more access to certain things, and in case the ads nother you (there really isnn't a lot of ads). 10/10 , I promise I recommend 😁
