The concept itself is great. The delivery fees and available options is not so great. There are a few kinks with different menus for ordering g where you do now get the correct food and menu options and the uprising options are confusing. This service takes a $50 meal and often turns it into an $80 meal even before you consider any kind of tip for the driver. Pretty straight forward. Convenience at a hefty price...

The app hardly works, I had to delete and reinstall it several times just to sign up. After signing up, I started to get a LOT of spam calls. You aren't allowed to delete your account. I have tried to find information on how to delete it, and a lot of shady websites with false information pop up. There is no way to get to any sort of customer service to delete the account. It keeps sending me in circles to the faq back to the hours of operation but no actual way to deactivate.

It's a decent, reliable app. Kinda generous with food credits. Not sure how long that will last tho. Drivers are pleasant (tons of smiles) and very polite. Kinda limited in food customization. I've compared it side by side against other apps and I'm definitely noticing a lack of options on this end. EDIT: After a good amount of usage, I noticed some pricing discrepancy. There's been attempted charges of $32 for what shows as a single $16 item not including a tip. No explanation can justify that.

I think this app has the potential to be amazing. There are just a couple things that I'm having issues with. First of all, I've tried 3 times to order and every time I have waited a minimum of an hour (once I cancelled my order) to be assigned a runner. Once a runner was signed, things went quickly and smoothly. The other thing is when I go to pay after I receive my order, the app just closes. It will not let me adjust my tip or anything. I've sent 2 reports about the issue with no response.

Deceptive and shady! Free delivery? NOPE! 1) They made two instant withdrawals totaling $75 for an order that cost $17.05. 2) They didn't say there would be a $2.99 service fee during the order and I was looking for it. 3) They automatically tipped the driver nearly $7. There was no place to update it before or after the order. 4) They don't list Favor or the restaurant on your bank statement. It's just letters and numbers so you have to figure it out! NEVER AGAIN! UNINSTALLING!

I love the app the only downside is where I live. I can only order from 2 dollar stores a stripes and a Subway no major grocery stores. But the customer service is great and while it may take a while for a runner to get my order they always make sure to get exactly what I ask for and let me know if an item is unavailable in the store. Edit* So another problem is the tips and deliveries are really expensive if your on a budget.

This is a horrible app with a crappy interface for restaurants. Instead of options to select it has a text field for you to enter text. What it does list is outdated and incomplete. I ended up spending so much time going back and forth with the driver trying to figure out what the hell was available at the restaurant I could have cooked the damned dinner myself. The app also has no way to turn off add notifications when the only ones I want to see are specific to my order. Horrible App!

If I could give 0 stars I would. Ordered some items from HEB. They got me the right stuff, but put the wrong total for the order on the app. The receipt in the bag and on the app matched and proved that it was the wrong total. There is no option to call customer service, just text and email. So I did both with no response. I did not plan on paying the wrong amount, until they took it out of my account anyways. And on top of that, they force you to tip, no matter how bad your service was.

Yikes. Really like the idea of Favor, and the app itself is fantastic. The service side is dreadful. So many times, my order is picked up and dropped by runners over and over again until nearly 30 minutes later someone actually runs it. I guess if I were designing this program, I would 1. Once you commit to a run, you have to see it through, and 2. If this annoying system of juggling the order is necessary, do NOT show it in the app until the runner is locked in. Very frustrating to watch.

Does what it says it does for the most part. However, the "$6 delivery fee" they claim is consistently $15. I seriously can't recall a time I opened the app and they weren't "increasing delivery fees to get more drivers on the road". ALL THE TIME! And lately, it seems like if you try to order 1 or 2 hrs before close, the drivers will just pass your order back and forth until it's cancelled at closing time. Honestly, lately, it's cheaper to just take a Lyft or Uber and pick up your food yourself.

Update: I followed the directions on the response and communicated with Favor. I was asked several questions, which I answered, but didn't receive any guidance. The app still doesn't work. I continually get the message "Error closed REFRESH". I restarted my phone and even deleted the app for a few days and then reinstalled. Same message. I deleted the app. I'm bummed out, but will use DoorDash since their app works. I'm not going to keep trying for no real pay off.

This app used to be great. However, the last 3 times that I've ordered something, the runner has disconnected from the app so that I can not see arrival time. They have also not reached out to me or answered when I've texted or called. It has been a different runner each time and yet the same problem. As much as I love HEB, I've learned that their Favor app is completely undependable. I hope they listen to the many complaints they've had and find a solution.

Confusing interface and unpleasant to use. I was looking for a search bar for a while before I realized that I needed to use the 'order anything' button. Looking at the full menu of the restaurant earlier in the day - come dinner time, I went to look at the menu again and there was nothing listed in the menu except for one item. Was really confused, ended up typing out what I wanted to order - for something as simple as a list, the app managed to make it confusing because even though it says 'Add Item' it means that you need to put your whole order in the one line, and not just one item. There is also no payment confirmation page, your order is just immediately placed once you hit enter. This is annoying because you don't know how much you need to pay until the runner actually buys your order. Yes, you can do the calculations of all the fees yourself but what app makes you do that? Also, the fees are too pricey compared to normal food delivery - I would rather use a different service or go and get the food myself. Only reason I gave it two stars instead of one star is that my runner was really great. Overall, I am uninstalling this app and I would not recommend to others

This app has been nothing but a nightmare. With the recent update, my order completely disappeared and I was charged a return fee. I was in contact with my runner who was trying to deliver to me but the app cancelled the order. This is not the first time my order was cancelled but I wasn't charged a return fee before. There are several times one runner will accept you order but then drop it. It took over an HOUR for this latest run that was then canceled and I was charged. DO NOT USE THIS APP.

I've tried this app today for the first AND last time. I placed an order and it said the runner was on their way to pick it up. That was an hour ago. I tried to cancel the order only to find out there's a $15 cancellation fee (one of the reasons i'm deleting the app). I text the driver and they said there's an accident that backed up traffic. I understand there can be unforseen circumstances that can delay delivery but DRIVERS, LET THE CUSTOMER KNOW!!

With my last two orders, I open the app to adjust tip and complete payment, but the app has already automatically completed the payment w/ a $7 tip included. I also suggest they stop under pricing items. Getting a final bill $5-10 AFTER I get items delivered is crazy. I think I'm done with food delivery now. I'll just get it myself. RESPONSE TO FAVOR: your reply to my review does not relate to the problems I have with the app. Be more specific and actually read my posting.

I ordered food at 8 pm, app said it would take 30 minutes. OK, fine. I've been sitting for 45 minutes and the little timer still says "23 minutes, runner heading to store." Tried to cancel, and there is a cancelation fee of $15 PLUS the cost of all the items. I finally got the order, which was originally around $22 not including tip, tipped the driver $7, and got a charge on my card for $37. Not adding up in my head, because the $22 included delivery and service fee. Just get doordash.

Favor is by far my favorite of the food delivery apps however it's definitely not perfect. My only big gripe is the higher price on food items, and no I don't mean the delivery charge and tip. I mean the actual items are just higher cost than how they are listed on a restaurants actual menu. It just feels a bit shady to do that AND charge a delivery fee + tip on top of that. Still, the service and options are great + there is free delivery pretty often

Was 5 stars, but had one order never get picked up at all and then the next one was canceled because of age restricted items, the exact same age restricted item that I had order from the same store before, several times. I'm 34 by the way. They also never offered to make it right. I'll never use em again. I'll let door dash and Uber to thank yall for their new business.

Order 5$ coffee never showed up took them an hour. canceled it & when you cancel it it just says $15 it doesn't say $15 cancellation fee. So I thought that was my refund because I tipped $10. when you hit *cancel favor* it shows at the end that they charged you $15 for a cancellation fee. They tried to explain that the driver still needs to be paid. What they don't know is I'm a favor driver & they only give you $5 when an order is canceled. Rip off their customers & their drivers. Crooks!
