It's a great app if you want to buy a ticket if you want to do anything else. It's not so good. You couldn't even go backwards in the Android menu and what I really wanted was to track my trip that was not booked on this app in real time which you can't do so. This is a big waste for me

I downloaded the application just in order to complain. I booked a cabin ticket Piraeus-Kos. I paid, but I received a confirmation just for a standard seat in the lounge. I suspect that during the payment process, the cabins ran out. Instead they debited my card and I received a confirmation for conditions that I had not booked, no refund possible. At the end I paid almost twice the price of a regular seat, had I booked it with the carrier! Dishonest! To avoid, better, booking directly

Whoever decided that we should download this app to checkin online and get our tickets should be fired. They have 0 idea of even a basic UX experience. I received an email to checkin online and receive my tickets. The link points only to the app, I download the app, then copy paste the booking code, then get redirected to the website of the actual operator to receive the tickets. In short, email -> play store -> app -> browser -> email. You wasted my time and my data, and you should be sad.

Not working properly after recent update. Tickets issuance isn't standard. Provides too many "oops something went wrong". Takes too long to process each transaction. It's a shame to see such regression. The previous release was much smoother to handle and manage.

I love the idea of an app to search for and book ferries, as booking ferries using websites doesn't feel as intuitive as other forms of transportation like flights. However, I found ferryhopper to be incomplete, (and misleading, if one believes it searches for all ferry routes) as it lists no ferries from Malta to Sicily, when I know from web searches that such routes exist. Not useful for my trip and not helpful to me. A waste of time and space on my device, for my purposes.

Amazing app, does exactly what it sets out to do - not more, not less! An example of what any app should strive to be - solve the problem it's aiming to solve, without bloat or useless ads. Clean, simple interface with cute design. A couple of great little features like the live ferry tracker make it close to a perfect app. Huge kudos for the devs, great work!

Excellent app. It makes travelling between the islands so easy to plan and book. My wife and I used this app during our island hopping trip its so easy. During my stay, due to illness, we had to cancel a ferry booking. The app told me my refund was zero, but when I sent an email explaining the circumstances we got a full refund. Excellent customer service. Thank you

This app is literally perfect. I used it flawlessly throughout my trip to the Amalfi coast several times. The app charges the same price as tickets at the gate, is super functional and easy to use, and online tickets allowed us to breeze by the queue to board quicker. If I could rate this app 6 stars, I would. Trust me, use this app for your ferry hopping adventures.

Does not include all ferry services. Nothing on Dodekanesos Seaways in the Aegean so the app tells me there are no ferries between Kos and Leros on days when there are two! After this post, the ferries appeared, so I've updated the stars. The ferries weren't there originally though.

Ferry was cancelled and it was very painful to get a refund because the chat service loops. After 6 or 7 retries, I finally got an answer

Very intuitive and well designed booking app. Two feature requests: 1. It would be cool if the tickets could be stored within the app itself because otherwise it is just an intuitive way of booking and nothing more. Sometimes the ferry operators require printed tickets specifically. No problem for the way to an island but then you have to find a printer for your tickets back to mainland. This negates the point of the app in my opinion. 2. Notifications if the itinerary changes.

Excellent app for making bookings. Two drawbacks: 1. Changes to routes/times/boat names are pretty frequent and announced by the boat operators. These are not picked up by the app which can lead to problems if you show up at the wrong time. There should be an interface with the shipping companies to reflect changes which could mean you miss your boat if you haven't seen emails sent by the boat operators. 2. No ability to transfer your booking to an online (or any other) diary.

Great app, all your trips in one app and one booking. After few updates and additions it would be perfect

They sell you a "Flexi" addon so you can change tickets without penalty. Except it must be used >48 hours in advance...which they don't tell you until AFTER you buy the add-on. So if booking a ticket for tomorrow you literally can't use what they just sold you. Isn't that called theft? Also when you book you have to go pick up your ticket at the ferry ticket window anyway. So not sure this app does anything but charge a fat fee.

Boat service was good. App is good too. Just one suggestion. Notify passengers via the app of any major delays or boat cancellations with a notification. This might be difficult since each boat service has different computer systems in place. Ferryhopper app developers should be able to share API code info to help the boat companies integrate with the app to communicate delays and cancels through the app. Sending these by email is not great because most people only check email 1 to 2 times daily
