Updated, but doesn't work. Shows notification and nothing else. Huge disappointment. edit: I have sent an email to your support. Basically, clicking any item starts a notication, and app shuts down. Previous version works 100%. I sent an email at same time as my rating. I installed 3 - it crashes 1.2 on a different pc works

Based on 1.1.4, there are selected flac contents where when listening, the volume lowers itself at some point. This happens on the same point within a song, whether using OnePlus 7 pro or using FiiO M11 on all its 3.5, 2.5, and 4.4 outputs. But there's NO PROBLEM using the same flac song with another music app like PowerAmp or Hiby on the Oneplus 7 pro and NO PROBLEM as well on Fiio M11 using Hiby music app. Surely, 100%, a bug of the FiiO music app, not my devices at all. Pleae fix. Thanks!

Brilliant app until today's update. It now can't find any music at all despite me pointing it to the folders and all permissions granted. Oh and I have lost all my playlists. Well done Fiio for yet again, not testing this rubbish before you release it. I give up with it now! Update: Fiio pointed me to a direct download from their site and it has returned to full working order. Thank you

Getting there. It's as good as many of the paid apps out there. Catalogues and plays my 15k of MP3 and FLAC without any trouble. *** Things they could fix *** I tried submitting these via the app, but it failed, so fix that first. It's not the prettiest app out there. Renders a bit clunkily if you've increased the font size. It doesn't auto update the catalogue, i have to force a rescan. It does not clean up deleted files. Some of the icons are bit small. It does not work with car play.

It's a good app. I liked it personally. Could you please implement one important feature. Whenever I pause or play the song don't increase/decrease the volume all of sudden. I mostly use earphone to listening to music. A sudden change in the volume giving me ear pain. I strongly recommend to fade-in and fade-out the volume so that ears can adopt the change in the volume.

My music is from Spotify and YouTube, so I only need a Fiio app to control my BTR3 bluetooth/USB DAC. Bluetooth devices are hidden in the app settings, and most of the options don't work. I wrote to Fiio and informed them. Later I sent an update that none of the EQ settings work, specifically when LDAC is being used. That said, I found the EQ pretty useless when using Apt-X HD or even as a wired USB DAC. In short, this app is really poorly done. Fiio needs to look at what Jaybird, Earstudio, Jabra, Sony, and others are doing. That said, the BTR3 itself, is a fantastic little device. Highly recommend it for LDAC from an Android mobile- I have the popular 1More Quad driver wired earphones. I also use it as a USB DAC at work. My PC is Linux - I had to do basic edits to a file, so the bitrate and frequency were correct. I think the file was /etc/pulse/daemon.conf

I downloaded this app out of curiosity since I have a Fiio M3K and I want to know if they have their own music app for mobile devices, and they have, to my surprise. I like it. It's simple, intuitive and the UI is clean. And most of all, NO ADS. Thank you Fiio. Sound quality is dependent on the phone's decoding chip so I can't say anything on that, and I don't use the equalizer. The only thing I hate is the popup at the top when I start the app, which covers the settings button.

Almost the very best of the best. One of the things that mede me unistall was in some songs the length was not accurate (too long). And the other thing was every time I clicked to see the lyrics the music player created a lyric file in the same music folder, even if there is no lyric to read. In my opinion, there should be a specific folder that we can select for this action.

This Fiio App is now my go to music app for my flac files. It has everything. You can create playlists, shuffle them or play them straight away. It has built in EQ with option to make your own. If you are fond of VU meters the album art can be replaced with it and it's a tap away and back. If you have songs with lyrics, mine doesn't, you can follow them as well. Great app! So fun to use. Highly recommended!

Is the default music app on my FiiO M9 music player and it does sound amazing. There are however some issues and inconsistencies with how to use the catalogue to find the music you want to listen to which lets it down badly. So for example, if you want to listen to an album by a particular artist. In the Artist list, if your artist is near the top you can click on their name & will be presented with all their songs (in alphabetical order) and all their albums - perfect. If your artist is, say, ZZ Top at the end of your extensive list and you instead search for them, you are only presented with their songs (in alphabetical order) and are unable to play individual albums. If you know the name of the album you want to listen to, in the Album list if it is near the top you can click on it and wil will play the tracks in the correct order. If however you search for your album, you are presented with it and if you click on it the tracks are played in alphabetical order, rather than track order. This is very frustrating.

This is by far the most user friendly and versatile HiFi player I have found. The UI is intuitive, fast and very flexible. It volunteers information and has good shortcuts. For example, you can jump from an individual track to the album by touching the album name. It can bypass the USB limitations of Android when connected to my Amenero card HiFi DAC. But sadly, it distorts on sample speeds of 44kHz and below. Almost perfect.

It's a music app, what else can it do differently? turns out, loads. my phone for whatever reason defaults to SBC when streaming via Bluetooth even if the headphone supports better quality codecs. This app forces the phone too use the best available codec. I've yet to play with the USB audio features but will do soon once a compatible cable arrives at my door steps. Annoyingly there seems to be a need to "add" local files into the app as it doesn't seem to read the storage like every other app..

Don't get me wrong, this is a great app, probably would be the best. I use it daily on my FiiO M15 and on my phone when I use my FiiO M15 as a Bluetooth receiver. But you have to fix the track sorting, after the new update it has become unusable as someone who plays through entire albums. I download my music from the Qobuz store so each song is listed as 1-1 Can You Feel My Heart, 1-2 The House of Wolves... now it reads 1-1 Can You Feel My Heart, 1-10 Crooked Young. I beg you to fix this!!!

Totally full of bugs. Fiio leverages this app as the only way to use hq encoding on the btr3, which is a shady business practice at best, music will randomly stop playing and you need to select a new track to get it to play again, 'HR' high frequency music will randomly skip and become silent during playback, the app takes over your lock screen and forces you to get through two lock screens, it forces a notification on your phone that doesn't go away, massive lag with pause/skip/vol controls.

Something changed in the new update, but I can't add any of my music now with this last update. It's a combination of MP3s and FLACs, but I can't add them anymore. It may have to do with the fact that they're on a SD card. I used to have all of it there, but now I can't add it. I've added the right folder and scanned for the music and nothing gets detected by the app. This app used to be a 5 star app, but now that it can't see my music it's a 1 star app.

One one hand, I'm glad I'm able to play transferred music from my iTunes without any stutters, skips etc whereas with any other player, it struggles. My only problem, wish the "All Songs" tab had proper sorting like Album, Artist etc so please add this in the next update, thank you :) Works as it should, definitely using this player from now on.

I got a BTR3 and this goes with it perfect, I am excited for EQ option but for those who don't know in Android 7.1 and newer, go to Settings, Sound, Quality and Effects, Adapt Sound. It plays beeps in each ear and asks if you can hear them, which tailors an EQ that applies to the entire phone. It's super quiet so make sure you run that program with zero background noise and whatever headphones you use the most. It really makes good cans shiiiine. Please add exact battery life display for BTR3!!!!

I've been using Fiio Music for a while now and really appreciate that it can take direct control of an external DAC for bit-perfect playback. And even without that it still has the best playback quality of any music app I've used. Probably my only gripe would be that the "play next" feature doesn't work properly when it's in shuffle mode, which I nearly always use.

Has most music playing features you would expect. UI is not bad and I like that the album art is displayed pretty big (bigger than on some other players). BUT the lack of a "shuffle play all songs" function makes it completely unusable as a music player. Clarification: technically, there is a shuffle feature, but it does not work at all. After a song ends, it'll just play the next song in the same folder or replay the same song again if there are no other songs in that folder.

It has a lot of customizablility options and features that I haven't seen in other music players. Though, I do have a couple gripes. It will often use the back cover over the front cover when trying to find the cover art, seemingly preferring whatever is ahead alphabetically, even when the images start with "front" or "back", which seems like an easy fix. There is also the issue that it only shows part of the album titles, which is quite annoying with my library especially.
