No option for adding or creating new folder in external memory or internal memory. even in my other handset it's there with older version a plus mark ( + ) right side in lower part for creating new folder . But in my new hand set after installation I didn't found. And Drop-down box all good

Used this for a while. Was solid, go-to app, but one I use infrequently. However, I must have updated it because "suddenly" there are tons of ads. Yes, I can pay for the app, but to suddenly introduce ads when there were none without either warning or a significant performance improvement is uncool.

Good, av real contender against Solid Explorer. Could use a proper tablet/landscape view with two windows but unfortunately out doesn't. Good thing is that that's it's greatest shortcoming. To many ads in the free version but the full version isn't too expensive and thankfully gives you the option of a one time purchase.

I had great hopes from this file manager as I was looking for something like ES file explorer pro and even did subscription. But the file manager crashes randomly and u need to totally uninstall and reinstall and this is a recurring issue. Two stars given ES is way older and still the job far better.

I moved a bunch of files from secure folder to normal storage via the OS, then tried to use this to move some of them from phone storage to micro SD, it froze for a sec, pretended to finish and now every file I moved today is gone, including ones I wasn't moving with this app. Very unstable. I've had this app for years and nothing like this has happened but I can't allow a second chance for something like this to happen again

Some say ads in this are "somewhat intrusive". I'll be more specific. downloaded as looking to change from ASUS file manager as doesn't support usb. I navigated to 5 different folders, and got Ad each time. one thing to put an Ad on actions, like create or delete; but every time open folder is just stupid, this is not a file manager, it's an Advert. update: get Cx File Explorer, or Simple File Manager (simple mobile tools)

This was my fav file browser for years, but the new ad scheme is too much, I tried to copy one file, only 5 clicks but got 4 unskippable ads, and two that automaticaly opened in my browser without me actualy clicking the ad, which is against Google's advertising rules for apps (disruptive advertising), I filed a report. It made the process take several times longer. From seconds to over 2 minutes.

Stuck in an ad that was stuck in a loop: the "fast forward" button was unresponsive, so I decided to wait it out put the kettle on. Must have been in an exceptionally patient mood as the ad's inane jingle was soul-destroying... And it never ended. I left it at least 5 minutes while the kettle boiled, and still couldn't fast forward so as to get out of the ad. Thus I have no opinion on the app itself as I never got to experience it. Dev, you're shooting yourself in the foot.

Very user-friendly. Makes finding, saving and moving files easy to do. Well worth the few Euro to remove the ads. I can see myself using the app for the long term. Update 24/04/19 Cannot get rid of the ads, with new update. No reply to my email for help (incl screenshot of payment receipt). Very, very dissappointing service.

Ads have dropped off to just banners, which is certainly preferable, even if it means I have to scroll down a bit to get between favourited folders and e.g. downloads because of the ad in between them. I wish the "get info" about a folder would also show the number of files in that folder (and its subfolders) instead of just the size, but I guess one can't have everything. Best file manager I've found.

After 6 years with this app, I have to change from 5 stars to 1 star rating. I paid to remove ads, not once but twice. When I changed phone again it spammed me with ads again. Open folder? Ads. Back to previous folder? Ads. Enough is enough. Not paying again for this. EDIT: I contacted the customer service about this. No reply for over a couple of months.

This is the best file manager on Android that I've encountered so far. It has most of the basics going seamlessly. Basic processes like finding the right directory, reading the whole filename (even when it's very long), copy/paste, and such, are a dream in this app. Only negative thing I have to say, is that when transferring large files, and you click on the transfer dialogue box to run in the background, then it is gone for some other reason, it's not easy to know whether the files really are transferred.

Almost perfect. It is one of the keepers though as is. One thing i can say woulf helo is to add more visually intuitive features, such as pic-icons on app folders, and differwnt meters over a folder to indicate the size of whats in that folder compared to nearbt files. I have spent literally minute after minute going back and forth between folders trying to remember which is the one folder out of 20 that has my files in it, etc. Just aggravating. Thanks! You're still great!

Stopped working. I bought this app a few years ago. Had to change phone, and now they want me to resubscribe and pay a yearly amount. I bought this app outright a long time ago with no ads. it was working fine up until I changed my phone. Now it won't even allow me, even after subscribing again, to manage my files. I cannot move them from my device to my external memory card. Nor will it allow me to delete anything off of anywhere. It says it deletes the file I chose, but it's still there.

UPDATE June 29 2020: 1 Star now. I had purchased the lifetime no ads in 2016. haven't had any ads on this app for years. but got a new tablet, put my email in, installed the app, no ads, great. 2 days later I put 6 other emails on the device and created user accounts for my children and two other game accounts. NOW I HAVE ADS AGAIN AND VIDEO ROLL IN ADS!! The only remedy is to remove 5 emails so it makes use of the first email that I used to buy the app, but if I add in a 4th email or more(Seems to still select my first one if I add only 3 emails), it starts to use/focus the very last one... THIS IS EFFING STUPID, Why don't you put in an option to select the email to use to either make a payment from or to use to verify the Purchase? ------ Original 5 star August 15, 2016 review: Very simple and straightforward unlike others I've tried that forces you to look at your media in a categorized fashion instead of simply browsing by the folders. Great Job Mr developer!!

Are you using a cheap android and trying to find a decent file manager? I have tried them all on this Shok Volt phone and this is a keeper. I was not expecting any of them to work anywhere as well as this app is working.. minimum lag, great graphics and options to turn on and off the different settings.. audio player available and all this free.. huh yeah that's what I said. Look no further this is the one you are looking for. Developer team you did an outstanding job especially compatibility.

Just uninstalled after 4~ years of use across 3 phones. I opened the app for the first time in months today. I rarely use it, but always kept it around for those rare instances. Today I opened the app and was hit with an ad. Then I was met with a banner ad and had to scroll past it to get to my files and folders. I then selected 2 files I wanted to delete, hit the trashcan button, and got another full add. When the ad finished, THEN I could delete the files. What the ****

EDIT(11 Dec. 2018): Lots of issues over the past several weeks, incl. a recent tendency to crash with pretty much any attempted action. e.g.: Selecting a file and clicking the trash icon kills the app. This is all the more annoying, given how frequently I'm seeing 'upsell' msgs. in my notifications pane ... this, despite being a longtime paid up 'pro' user. Seems the developer(s) now spend more time in designing new monetization schemes than in maintaining it. ...................... This is the first thing I install on /every/ new Android device! Intuitive UI, plus speed and usability options that are topnotch. My go-to recommendation for #1 Android file system app.

I've been using this for a little more than 2 months (1.5 months using the free version & .5 using the $2+ version) and its great. I recommend trying it out then, if you like it as much as I do, invest $2 to add cloud integration & remove the adds. (Please add OneDrive access! Even without it, its a great app!) ... Update (four years later), I've removed a star just because I truly believe that Solid Explorer is the best. Been using SE for over 2 years and as an IT professional it's the best.

Ads have gotten much more frequent in the past month, and are very intrusive, but generally a good folder app Edit: the ads got so intrusive and so constant that I did end up upgrading - but I'm still getting ads! It isn't as often, but what is the point of purchasing 'no ads' if you still get ads! Also files with long names don't wrap around, and there is no way to see the end of the name.
