Alright, I'm updating my review since they updated the game. Even at the level I was at, the progression has sped up a lot. I adore the change to the power upgrades allowing for uncapped weapon upgrades, which in turn allows for a sharp increase in damage, which takes us back to what I started this off with. The progression is now balanced, while still maintaining some degree a challenge, which is a good thing. Even the offline reward is more efficient; or so it seems to me, I may be wrong.

Unplayable without an adblock, but fun with one. Lower the amount of ads and this would be a 4 star review. Not to mention, the ads often CRASH THE GAME. But not until after you sit through the entire ad. If the game crashes, you lose all progress from that run. Ive finished the final boss a level then had to replay it several times due to ads crashing the game.

Could be fun, too many ads. Ad after every boss which takes 20 seconds to get to, ad when you die, ad when you start a new game. And the ads have ads. You click the "X" after 5-10seconds only for it to load a playable ad, then you try to click the X on the playable ad now you're in the app store. Wayyy too many ads. Maybe have just one at begining and end of a run, would be more playable

Nice game of this type, fewer ads than many similar games, but still quite a few given the length of some levels. $20 to remove ads. Could use an explanation for the power ups at least names below the icons on the selection screen. Can choose a power up then check what it is on the pause screen, but then can't change your selection so needs to memorize the icons. A merge all equipment option would be nice too. Banner ad needs to move to there top, away from the control area at the bottom.

When I first downloaded this game, I wasn't expecting much. Just another mobile-ad game to make fun of. However, after playing this for a couple of hours, I find myself thoroughly enjoying Fire Hero 2D! If I may, I DO have a few things that might make the game a little more interesting: First, I think players should be allowed to customize the color of their bullets in addition to their shapes. Second, each bullet should come with their own respective buff instead of a blanket +20% damage buff.

Great concept but so many small issues, input lags from time to time, sometimes when you reach the boss you get an upgrade at the same time so you have to pick an upgrade to continue but you can't pick one because of boss sceen overlay and you can die even if you kill the block infront of you. Bosses aren't even a challenge however getting to them is very Fun, the upgrade system feels terrible and the laser is too strong. All that said pretty fun game and I enjoy it.

This was a decent game before the update, but after playing with the update the game has surprisingly gotten more fun. The only things keeping it from a 5 star rating are the excessive amount of ads (literally one after every game is far too much in my opinion.) And that I wish there was a pause feature during games if you get a text or a notification during one, as you can't really do anything about it. Overall, a pretty solid time waster and game but definitely could use some work on the ads.

The app has potential. However, it punishes you for doing well. You complete a level? Ad. You lose? Ad. You win? Ad. There is not a way to remove ads. Also, if you progress to quickly, the game outscales your ability to level yourself up. Thus becoming constantly bogged with ads and no way to process. Should that final note be fixed, the game would be alot more enjoyable.

I can't explain how much I love this game. It's graphics are smooth, it's got wonderful game play and mechanics, and nothing is too grind-y and tedious. There's always needed effort, but it pays off nicely when you see those orange octagons go up by tens. This game is brilliant. This would be a 5 star if the ads weren't such a big issue. I understand 1 ad after every 2 deaths, but it's such a big of an issue that when I decide not to watch an ad to continue, I get one anyway!

There are pros and cons. The game is a great time killer and the gameplay is simple and fun. The ads are a bit annoying but you still have the option for ad rewards even after purchasing no ads. I liked that feature at first, but once you get to around level 25, you still need to watch an ad to make progress with your firepower. The game would be better if you could also level up the starting level of your additional damage types, instead of just leveling the damage modifier.

The game is a fun time waster. The main issue is all the ADs! And not short ADs. You get the full 30 seconds and then you have to wait an additional 5 seconds for the 'X' toa appear so you can close it out. I was tempted to purchase the No ADs, but the game isn't worth the $7 they are asking (in my opinion) So, if you don't mind a ton of ADs after every level, death and the optional bonus points, this is a really good game.

Pretty fun game, really. BUT, it has it's flaws. to start off, there's no sensitivity option, which hinders gameplay quite a bit. Secondly, there are no descriptions for powerups, resulting in confusion and uncertainty. Lastly and probably my biggest issue, is that the game just gets so unfairly hard in later levels. I'm not sure if it's just me or what, but some of the sections in JUST LEVEL 7 are seemingly impossible. Despite these imperfections, the game IS still pretty fun. *Ads included.

It had some promise so I bought the "remove ads" option, but you still have to watch ads for rewards, it only removes interstitial ads. After a couple of hours of playing I realized there's no depth and the only thing that changes with upgrades and "new" levels is that the numbers get higher. No real progression, no interesting skills or upgrades. This is really just a lazy, boring bubble shooter.

This is a pretty fun game. Ads after each level, but not too intrusive. My only complaint is it has been crashing and skipping pretty badly for the last couple days. Makes it unplayable. I'll give it a couple days and see if it clears up. EDIT: I changed to 1 star because the game has become completely unplayable. It crashes constantly during most ads and randomly during game play. Edit: The random ads during game play have become worse. They pop up randomly and you must close the game (losing a

It would be very easy to improve this game. There's a large difficulty curve and it's nearly impossible to play after a certain point. I got stuck at level 26. I stayed through it because I like the upgrade system, and it's a good time killer. If the difficulty was balanced then it'd probably be 5 stars. Also, whenever you watch an ad to revive, I believe it nerfs your damage (without telling you), causing you to instantly die in the next few seconds. Very scummy.

The Ads glitch with FB ads, freezing and forcing you to close the app, losing your current level rewards. It scales the cost of boxes to your level, guaranteeing that you can't get enough upgrades to keep up without using real money, or slowly losing intentionally to farm medals. The base gameplay is fun, but it's wrapped in too many Ads. If you want anyone to pay 10$ to not get the ads, at least make sure the game works so we can be confident that it won't crash after paying.

Personally, the game has been enjoyable to play, but this is the only game that I've played that I've seen the following issue. About 50% of the ads played are zoomed in, with no way to access the "x" button to skip or close the ad, which then forces you to completely restart the app, which gives you no rewards from the run you just played. I've now played 6 runs back to back, with no rewards, and im not going to pay $7 to remove the ads. Until this gets fixed, my rating will not change

Firstly don't download it has ads (it says it doesn't) after every game it has an ad you have to watch. If you watch an ad to revive it takes away your damage. These ads have 3 exit buttons Annoying. Also slow upgrades which is unfortunate. Also I'm pretty sure the response to these is a bot. I don't care if it's not the responses are lifeless. Also a game like this you can make in less then an hour. Which is very fast. Trust me the game does not need this many ads if it says it does it's lying.

The game is good for just burning time. It has its pros (To me, the simple graphics do it well, and the upgrades and merging give the game some progression and goals) and cons (Repetitive), but I still like it. Not for everyone though. To all the people complaining about the ads: just turn on airplane mode. It's not that hard. (And if the developers want me not to do that, I don't care 🙂)

It's a short time waster, but the amount of ads is ridiculous, 3 per level. There's also no merge all feature, and if you close the app mid level it doesn't save your progress. Your ship has 2 extra locked slots and a locked menu in the bottom right but as far as I can tell there's no way to unlock them? hopefully it'll be added in an update soon because progression is very fast. I've almost gotten every legendary weapon, and there's not really anything else to do after that.
