• Fingerprint Login: With just the touch of a button you can have access to your account. Fingerprint Login allows you to login quickly and securely using the fingerprint scanner on your device.

• FirstGlance: Spin the cube! Quickly view balances and eBills due without logging in. Simply enroll and set up the accounts you would like to view (up to 3) by selecting “FirstGlance” within the main menu. After enrolled, spin the FirstBank cube before login to access FirstGlance.

• Mobile Deposit: Deposit your check through the app. Anywhere you have a phone you have a personal FirstBank branch. Simply take a picture of the front and back of the check and submit your deposit.

• Zelle®: With Zelle® you can quickly send, receive and request money to friends and family using only their email address or mobile phone number and name. This is how money moves®

• Pay Now: Receive a notification on the Account Summary page when your FirstBank credit card, cash reserve, or loan is due. Rest your weary fingers and save time by clicking the Pay Now button to transfer the funds.

• Bill Pay: Receive your bills electronically and schedule your bill payments all in one location. Bill Pay can be used to pay anyone in the United States that you would normally pay by check, automatic debit, or cash.

• Account Details: Check balances on your accounts and loans, transfer money between FirstBank accounts, and schedule a payment on an existing FirstBank loan.

• Communication Center: Bank mail allows you to communicate securely with the bank and receive messages and tasks related to your loan requests. Stay informed about your FirstBank account activity with alerts about your balance, deposits and withdrawals, fraud detection, and more. Setup Alerts to get notified by text message, email, or push notification.

On my Pixel 3, the camera constantly shifts to capture a photo of my check WHILE I adjust the frame instead of letting me adjust the camera myself. Taking a photo of a check feels like playing a drunk driving simulator. The app constantly overcorrects every motion I make. Thank you for giving me motion sickness. Never had this issue with older versions of the app.

The app is well thought out and works well, except the known issues of stalled or slow startup, and fingerprint capture. Mobile deposit is awesome. Text notifications are so important. Let's me know if WE have a problem, which 1st Bank has always solved. Sending money is silly easy. Bill pay is better online, but maybe that's just me. I know this review is about the app, but I want to state the people at 1st Bank Surprise AZ are just wonderful! The phone support is also great, always helpful.

I think this app is amazingly on point with everthing about it it's organized to a complete understanding.with what u need to know. The app is easy to use and fast .. u can do everything from the mobil app I had a thought of opening up a bank account and before I knew it I was actually doing it and the process was easy I had a checking and a Savings account opened with in minutes and they did a third party verification to see if I qualify...and with in minutes I was verified and qualified. Thx

First Bank's app is TERRIBLE!!! I was using their mobile site which worked great, but they eliminated the mobile site and forced all of us onto this app. Sometimes when I try to log in, nothing happens at all, no error message, just NOTHING, then TEN minutes later it opens. Type font is huge so the number of transactions you see before scrolling down is just a few, so you can't get a more complete picture of what's going on in your account. Entire layout is very confusing. Worst app ever!!

Many of my auto payment items do not show up in app until the day AFTER it has posted. Most times this is no big deal because I typically remember they are coming. The 1 time I forget about a payment coming the money is in savings instead of checking.. I get hit with an overdraft fee & get no help from CS. Between this & being tired of all their other fees I finally started shopping for a new bank!

2017 -Great bank. Wish the app works better. Taking photographs automatically with an Android phone or tablet does not work reliable. 2019 -auto detection for deposits improved. 98% of the time deposits are completed simply and without any issues. 2021 - checks are able to be consistently photographed/scanned. Manual photos available if needed. Fingerprint login is smooth.

I used to love this app! But since it forces you to update it, whenever there's an update, during one of the updates months ago it no longer works. I kept the app waiting for another update thinking maybe it would work later on but no. I've uninstalled and reinstalled multiple times to see if that would help, but didn't work either. When I click on it, it automatically shuts down and says the app stopped working. Too bad, it was very useful when it did work.

App worked great for over a year. Today and yesterday, it can't tell the difference between photos of the front and back of my paycheck, so it's refusing the deposit. Mobile deposit is the main reason I installed the app in the first place. Edit: Two weeks after the review, the problem appeared fixed. I'm editing my rating from 2 stars to 4. 2nd edit: Another two weeks later, the problem is back! Back down to 2 stars now.

Just updated this app because it wouldn't allow me to login if I didn't. New version has a bug that displays your user name automatically and can't be changed. I have concerns about testing and security now. Frustrating because old app worked great and appreciated being able to make online deposits. One step closer to changing banks...sadly.

Samsung Note 7/8 Love this bank. Kinda hate this app. Loads unreasonably slow; half the time doesn't let me log in, instead just kicking me back to the opening screen. Tells me there's always an error when mobile depositing checks, but still deposits them. Has been at least a year and a half since these problems started. Ever since fingerprint log in was added (which doesn't work on android, fyi).

App is not bad but compared to other bank apps I've used, this is the absolute worst one. My MAIN issue is that for 4 months now, every time I open the app the loading wheel just spins and spins and spins, it won't load unless you close it and open it again. And it does this the first time I open the app on every occasion, I always have to force close and open again, pretty ridiculous. No update has fixed this yet

Generally it's a good app. Over the past 6-8 months I have been getting an error when trying to log in indicating there is an issue with my internet connection. My internet connection is fine and all other apps function properly. I end up having to uninstall and reinstall requiring me to reset everything. I have uninstalled this app numerous times.

This app was great, but now it is no longer working. I'm unable to capture any checks, it either captures the front then goes back to the previous screen or crashes before you capture anything. Restarting the phone and restarting the app don't help. EDIT: I have the latest version, I installed it yesterday. I tried making a deposit today several times and it still either crashes immediately or goes back to the previous screen when you take a photo of the front.

So I was reading a lot of the reviews. Sounds like the problem is people's phones. A lot of the reviews are recent and I honestly haven't had a problem with it at all. I love that I can lock my card after every purchase and I love that I can program the application with customized needs. It's pretty swell and I have had no problems what so ever. I transfer money, pay my bills, I have direct deposit, and I mean... I have to deposit money via an envelope and can't do it via ATM like other Banks but that's nothing to do with the app. The app itself is a-okay! As long as you're updating your software and applications. Which are two different things, which I do... So I have zero problems. Whoot! ✌️✌️✌️

Can't even get past the initial loading screen when it starts up. I can't do anything except watch it load forever. Useless app. I will probably be switching banks if it continues since it's too far to drive to deposit my paychecks. EDIT: This problem has been going on for years, across multiple phones both apple and android. This isnt just some server being down. No other app or website i use has this problem.

This banking app seems to have more issues than any other banking app I've experienced, frozen screen when trying to sign in, the never ending spinning circle of death... I see it all the time. Also I don't like that it doesn't give you an ending balance after each transaction, makes it harder to track your money. I have a second account with US Bank and I must say that I'm much happier with the experience I get from their banking app over this one.

App runs fine. If you have an issue with ANYTHING AT ALL though, and you try emailing them, you only get responded to in the app. You have to continually log into the app and wait for a response and they don't email you letting you know they responded half of the time. Its frustrating. But the people at the bank themselves are always rude and don't listen. So lose lose. The app crashes a lot too. There's been multiple times I try to log in and the app is down.

Overall, I love the app. My only real gripe is the errors occurring with photo deposit. I get about a 45% failure rate when trying to upload images of checks. It routinely gives error of "it appears you have taken 2 pictures of the front of the check,yet the preview images clearly show one picture of the front and one of the back of the check. It is extremely frustrating and time consuming.

The fingerprint login gives me security and accessibility. The check capture is much improved: I just did three checks in a row and everything ended up in focus. Easy access to transactions and transfers makes it so I don't ever need to use the webpage (although I still prefer it when my computer is around, please don't get rid of it).

I love FirstBank and will never leave. Unfortunately this app, which used to be stellar, is going downhill. Login and loading issues now are the norm rather than the exception. Biometric login only works about 25% of the time, and when it does let you in, it can take ages for your data to load and be displayed. Once loaded the app is as good as it ever was.
