VERY USER FRIENDLY! I just downloaded the app, and literally within minutes I was able to navigate through it with a high level of comfort. I especially like the feature of being able to customize by being able to add your own exercises as well. If I had to make any suggestions or recommendations I would say to add the ability to leave "NOTES" for each "set" after completion so as to be able to remind oneself whether this "rep" or "weight" amount was difficult or easy when starting next workout.

Good free app for keeping track of your exercises, weights and reps. Also good for ideas of different exercise for targeted areas. One addition I would add to the app if possible is a notes section where you can type and save notes for yourself. I feel this might help people remember to do things in between their resting days and before their next workout.

Ads Galore I've had this app for at least a year now and it didn't have so many ads in the beginning. Now when you open it you're faced with annoying music BLASTED over your own when in the gym and typically have to endure it for 5 seconds before you can skip. It then is the same every time you click on an exercise to check the form. I will be finding another app to use from now on.

Great app even without subscription, but it's more or less a prebuilt, generic workout spreadsheet. The only improvement that I could see that would bring this to 5 stars is the ability/option to add notes to specific workouts that are tracked for that day. I often go to gyms at peak times and need to substitute a machine from free-weights, and it would be a good way to track why my tracking could seem off. Otherwise, great app, but there are similar/better options out there.

I would give this app a solid 4-5 stars, however, after a recent update, I have been experiencing performance issues. I'm not sure how to reach out to the app developers, so I'm putting rhis review here. Whenever I open a workout that I have a lot of history with (such as bench press or deadlifts), the app freezes up and is difficult for me to enter my progress. For context, I have multiple years of progress recorded for these excercises

Excellent app with minor bugs. But does the job smoothly. You can setup programs and track your own progress. Pre made templates are available in pro but not necessary if you have your own program and just need to track performance. If there's an exercise thats not listed you can add your own image and description.

App has been great, would have given 4 stars, one star deduction because it has WAY too many adds, they pop up between every single set of exercises entered! Very anoying. Update, another star deduction. There is no way to transfer the app data to my new phone! I just got a new phone and my workout history, custom exercises, and routines did not automatically transfer. There appears to be no backup or restore function at all in the app either. That's a huge frustration.

Really good app for being free. You get a lot more if you pay. Mostly videos that you can probably find straight know youtube. The scheduling makes absolutely no sense and is kind of rough to figure out. Otherwise, the app is great and teaches you all kinds of different workouts. Videos, pictures, and a written step by step description on how to do the exercise. I also like that it has pictures that show which part of your body the workout will target. Recommend for beginners.

I was using the app on a trial basis and it worked fine. I downloaded for the year and immediately started to have issues. I'm not showing as subscribed and when I try to enter custom exercises, it says I need to add permissions. I have already given the app unrestricted access, but I'm still having problems. I emailed the developers. That was a research project since they don't have support built into the app, I had to find a forum that would help with email. One month later and nothing

Great app. History feature is great. I wish I could pay for the app so I could disable the ads! Edit 01/02/2023 After being a paid customer for years, I've decided to switch over to FitNotes. Unfortunately, the app owners decided to remove legacy paid users and switch to a subscription model, which reintroduced extremely annoying ads. I don't want to support a blatant cash grab and deliberate shunting of loyal, paid users.

Used to be good but they ruined it with the ad experience. I understand the ad at the beginning trying to get you to sign up but it happens LITERALLY EVERY TIME YOU CLICK INTO ANYTHING NEW. Oh, and the ads get longer each time and blare music over your own. It's also been glitchy and will just start blaring the ad music without showing the ad so you have to restart in order to get anywhere. After years of using this app, I will be leaving for something else. It's very frustrating and sad.

I liked using it just to see some workouts when I don't remember some movements for specific body parts. Only used it once or twice a week. But ever since they added ads to everything you click on.... I can't anymore. I'd like to go from movement to movement, and I try to measure my brakes. This just ads time to it. Not to mention, I usually have my headphones on and the music that blairs out over my own music is so damn loud. At least the music isn't bad though.

Up until about a month a go this app had 5 star review. And then something happened where everytime I try to add info for different workouts, it's extremely slow. It's not my phone but seems like it's just this app. Not sure what happened to make it slow. Please fix and ill change my review back to 5 stars. The ads are terrible. Started as 5 seconds, now up to 13 seconds.

This was a great app for tracking progress. I used it for a few year. I didn't use the routines, just the weights and rep tracking. Now I have to endure longer and longer ads each time I use the app unless I pay a monthly subscription. It started at 5 seconds of ads and loud music. Now it's up to 17 seconds each time I select a different workout. I will be choosing another app.

Love it so far!!! I'm using the customizable workouts. It's great that all moves are categorized by body part. I'm new to weight lifting and the diagrams and videos help me know that I'm doing all of the moves correctly. Also entering in my information when the workout is over is super easy. I just paid for the subscription so we'll see how the other parts work. I thought having the option to pay $4.99 a month was really useful. I personally don't like paying for a whole year upfront.

I was perfectly content with using this app for years, then yesterday, they put up a paywall. I could no longer access my routines or stats until I subscribed. They offer a "free four day trial", during which you can cancel to avoid the monthly charge, as long as it's a day before the trial ends (or something like that). Well, I signed up last night and cancelled about 12 hours later, only to be told by Google that my subscription will be closed after the point where I will incur a fee. I don't mind the ads, I've happily used this app for years, but there is nothing that warrants a $5/month subscription. Edit: it appears I did NOT get charged post cancellation, yet at least. It is still disappointing to see greed take over such a great app. Uninstalling after 2+ years of regular use.

I really liked the options this app had for pre defined workouts. It also has a pretty good selection of specific exercises organized by muscle group. You can track your workout but there doesn't seem to be a way to define your own workout ahead of time. The videos demonstrating the exercises are nice to have for an amateur. The reason for only two stars is the ads, so many ads, and they are not just a bar on the screen. The worst ones are video ads you cannot dismiss for 10s and stop my music.

Edit: I paid for all the exercises and paid to fully unlock the app when I first got it a few years ago. Now all of a sudden there are adds everytime I switch to a new exercise, and now they want 7.99 a month or 50 ayear to stop the ads. Really nice app with a variety of different exercises for each muscle group which helps to change up routines. Another nice feature is it has a good mix of exercises that do and do not require weights to do.

9.15.28 I'm still waiting for the entered weight to not add it change the numbers on me. I enter 35 pounds and either immediately, or the next time I open the app, the numbers are changed. Makes it useless to track progress. There is an Android bug that needs to be fixed. 3.3.18 update. I had to reload this app on my new phone and no sign in. List all my data. This app could easily be 5 stars. Once it improves the History section: Better data organization to see what muscle groups you worked on so you can plan your workouts out. Better higher level workout data with the option to see the details to see progress and results. Tighten up design and user interface... like the menu button on the screen and returning to the same muscle group when you're building your workout. But I've tried a lot of these apps and this one is the best designed and well organized. Great videos! I'm just very critical of intelligent design and user experience. I hope the app designers can make these changes. The $2.99 premium is worth it. 11.11.18 update: still no response on making data entry accurate. I still get wrong data and changed data. This app and it's developers suck. Time to delete this piece of s#@t app. I just switched to the app called Strong and what a difference... So much better, smarter and intuitive.

I liked the app before the most recent update. There was a search function that was really great when creating your own workout plan (which is part of the free version). Everything else is great. The stock exercises are good, but adding custom exercises is amazing. The best part is the log of your workouts that shows when you pick into each exercise so you know exactly the weight you should aim for. Really great app if they bring back the search function.
