The app is mediocre compared to other mobile banking apps, lackluster and bland. As a vendor for Netspend cards at my job, I want to be able to say it holds up to expectations, but it's too basic. The account screen now shows only the addition/subtraction if funds, but keeps no running total per item like many other banks do. It's impossible to get a downloadable copy of your monthly statement without logging into the desktop version. Overall, it's a slightly above average card and average app.

For almost two months now I have not been able to use the app or even access my account through a web browser, it just keeps freezing. I have uninstalled and re installed the app, made sure cookies and history is cleaned and still cant access. This has been extremly frusterating specially since I have had an account with Netspend for years and years and years. Please get this fixed ASAP or I will have no choice but to find a different company to bank with.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!! The app does not work while your on vacation in another country. They will cancel your card if you use it in another country. I'm on vacation in Thailand and they canceled my card when I use it on my hotel. Then I had to verify by sending them my ID social security card and proof of residence. Then they won't send my replacement card to my hotel. Now I'm stuck in thailand with no money. Horrible company. Beware of them.

I like the app ease of access, however I am going to switch to a more secure bank! My card is used to pay bills, and buy groceries, but over the last several months I am getting $1 charges here and there, the last one overdrew my account, costing me $25!! I have had to get a new card 3 times now because of fraud! It just seems strange that since getting the app, someone has access to my money. I just reviewed the app permissions, I'm wondering why you need access to my flashlight, SD & cam?!

I really liked the move money feature I used it often because i have 3 jobs and all pay different ways, this was my way to move money between my debit cards as needed this feature was removed from me because I used it frequently. Now that I no longer have this feature I will have to find another bank with similar feature. But the customer service was horrible and the agent was clueless and didn't know what she was doing 🤦🏾♀️ I was transferred to a supervisor and he was worse.

Worst hold times while they play LOUD repetitive music. No associate speaks clear precise English so there's alot of repeating yourself. The daily transfer limit is extremely too low $240.00 per day no matter how many cards you have. The app doesn't give detailed transaction information. If you have multiple cards, the text message alerts don't always show which balance belongs to which card. The automated system and the app needs to be updated to today's professional standards for quality.

Can't even load the app after installing. It's trying to give access to devices I no longer have and am signed out of. Uninstalled and reinstalled multiple times. Why is this such a joke? 8/25/2021 edit. Adding to the fact the app is a joke. You can't add mobile deposits because it requires your state issued ID but when you go to add the front and the back picture it thinks, spins, thinks, times out, and takes you back to the main menu where you have to log in again with no success.

Can never actually use my money!!! Can't move money off the card.The account always freezes for suspicious activity! Dude I'm just paying my bills!!!! Hate this card!!!

So I received the card, I go to activate it. Type in the card information it tells me I need to log in, and it stays trying to load for almost 15 minutes now. On both the app and the website. Tells me exactly what I need to know, thanks but no thanks. I'll definitely go elsewhere

The site can't be found. On the app or regular website. I can't check my balance or anything. Text alerts are down as well.

I would give it 5 stars if the mobile check capture ever worked. Marked a check for mobile deposit and it was rejected and now I have to hope I can get the check reissued. As long as you never ever have to use mobile capture it's a great app. Granted, that feature is run by Ingo and not ace.

Ace Flare has been pretty good to me, but the recent removal of Mobile Check Capture without any warning is very egregious. No email was sent, and there was nothing in my secure inbox stating an important feature being removed. I'm very disappointed in that. Not everyone can drive to a place to cash checks nor has direct deposit. Easily would have been 4.5-5 stars, but that right there crossed it. Extremely inconvenient

Last two months have had issues logging in. Both the app and the website. It will not even load the login page on the website. The app will go black and not let you login. It has put me in a bind at least three times already. I needed to transfer money out and was not able to do so and missed my bill payments. I cannot bank if I cannot login to my account.

Everything I need except Zelle. Great for use with all metabank and netspend users as far as moving money around but sucks when it comes to transferring to other major banking choices. Awesome for direct deposit and for $5 a month will worth it. It doesn't report to credit agencies or connect with a lot of apps however because of its prepaid features. Highly recommend.

Absolutely the worst financ/banking application, I have every used. Poorly designed login/recovery features within the app itself, and the online website. If that wasn't enough, customer service is horrific. And, may the stars be with you if you fail to understand the broken english of the cost saving contracted out "Account Expert", and misunderstood a security question. I may truly never recover my funds. Any other option= avoid this like the plague. Less than one star.

Well the app used to be solid but as of the past few months it will continually crash, it refuses to let me use biometric authentication, and occasionally the app refuses to load at all and just stays as a gray/blue screen. A few of the features don't seem to even work and no matter how many times I reset-up my direct deposit I still get msgs about how I need to set up direct deposit.

I never had a problem with the app until this past week, when suddenly it keeps freezing after log in. At best I can get transaction history to scroll on the first page, but otherwise nothing will respond, not even hitting the 'back' button to log out. I've already tried uninstalling & reinstalling twice, but the same thing keeps happening!

I love the convenience of the app. However i can never use it! It constantly gives me error messages upon login when i have the password saved to my phone. And whenever i attempt to reset the password , it rejects the temporary one sent via email as well. This has been a problem since last year. I really wish the tech team would look into this :(

Has froze every time I've tried to use for almost 2 weeks. I called and they said the issue is not on their end. It is!!! I have uninstalled and reinstalled many times. Every other app on my phone works just fine, but not Ace Flare. I pay a monthly fee to use the mobile check cash feature, to avoid driving 30 mins away and back to the location. paying the fee is useless now seeing as the app ISN'T BEING FIXED!!! Very frustrated that the issue is being blown off and not resolved.
