Great way to get some good deals. I wish they'd expand to more stores in our area. The odd thing is although they only work with one chain in our area they don't work with all the locations. Update: Flashfood has no NoVA availability! Well, that didn't last long. Offerings at the single chain have gone down every week, and now they have absolutely no options in my area. Great while it lasted, but I only used it about 4 times. Deleted.

Made a purchase. Item was not in the locked cooler, so I was told to just go find one close in price to original purchase price. Closest in price was over $3 less than the one I bought. No price adjustment offered. I "saved" $2, but would not have even made the purchase for that "sale" price. Also, the expiration date on the replacement was the same as the one I was supposed to have gotten (July 26th). What a rip off. Deleting the app. Do not recommend.

Update: They fixed the issue. Works perfectly now. Great idea. Nice app but it won't let me checkout most days. Says it can't find me and I need to give permission. All permissions are on, my location is on, the app settings show it located me. Tried to uninstall/reinstall. Emailed support. It has let me checkout 3 times out of several days of trying to shop. So, it's hit or miss.

I love using this app. It's great to reduce food waste, get a reduced price, and try foods I might not otherwise buy. I do wish the image would zoom in to read packages. I also wish I could have one than one location available. I get the most frustrated when I place items in the cart then get distracted and when I return the cart is empty and I have to start over. I think the app should save the additions in the cart.

While I love using the Flashfood app for deals, I wish they would give more description of the item or at least allow the user to enlarge the photo to see what size the package is. I've had several 'surprises' when I picked up my flashfood items and learned how small the weight/size of the package. ie a candy bar that looked regular size in the photo but was about 2" x 1/4" in reality. Much less of a bargain :(

I'm very glad I found this site! The app is easy to use when finding the location you want to shop, and it's also easy to switch locations. The products are easily selected into a cart and once you add your payment choice it holds the info and checkout is nearly one click. There's always someone who helps pick out the order from the case. And.... You're DONE! Nice work guys! I love the app ❤️

Good that these deals are available. I love saving money when shopping.You can't really tell the weight of the meat, or the ingredients of packaged products. Maybe you need to avoid certain ingredients.You must search for the item online and attempt to read the ingredients label there, then go back to the app to purchase the product. My order was missing an item, even tho the item was right there in the frig. I had to re-buy it, pay for it, and then later request a refund for the missing item.

This app provides an opportunity for saving on foods that I would already be purchasing. Love that I am helping to reduce waste while saving $$$. User friendly and ensures you are selecting from the right location prior to check out. Wish more stores and locations were added to the app. Not sure if intentional, but pictures are sometimes too blury to make informed decisions.

I used to love this app. It was so convenient to use. Now, the location screen is frozen. It refuses to recognize me, and I've uninstalled it. It reinstalled it logged out. Logged in toggled airplane mode on and off as it said to do in the help section and nothing! I'm done with this app. And, I can't delete my account. You have to fill out a form on the app, send it, jump through hoops, then they tell you they can't verify your identity so your account can't be deleted.

I do wish package weight was listed or photos were clearer so you could know exactly what you're getting. Love the convenience of checking out the app in the morning and being able to pick it up on the way home from work. If they work with the stores to fix the afformentioned issues this would be a 5 star experience.

This app used to be so great, easy pick up and pretty good pricing too. After the latest update the app freezes constantly, or it will prompt me to sign in repeatedly but still not recognize me (sometimes both). I've uninstalled, restarted cleared caches all the usuals but the app JUST WON'T WORK. This is sad because it's a really good idea and before this last update my Galaxy S22 and I were loving it. Now it's useless.

This is great! I've only had ONE problem picking up something that was no longer there (store's fault, not FF), however flash food refunded me and it was easy.🙂 There is only one store near me that participates with flash food, and I have the issue of when I am too far away from that store, this app takes a few minutes to load that store's inventory. I do find the store on the map fine and select it, but opening up the items takes so long. When I am at that store, however, it loads much better.

Massive fail. I gave location permission "while using the app, but it said I didn't and to expand the map. When I did so it showed ZERO locations near me when in fact I live an easy drive from 5 Stop&Shop locations. I even tried to go back into preferences to try toggling location on and off and on again (maybe it's stuck?) but once I click on preferences the app never loads that menu no matter how long I wait. The best concept in the world means squat without good coders.

Great savings, ********** BUT APP SUCKS ********** You can put items in your cart and not be able to buy them when you get to the checkout! This morning I put 12 items in my cart. When I tried to pay I was told that I had more in the cart than was available! HOWEVER, no indication of which items are causing the problem. I reduced my order and tried again - same result. I cancelled the order and started again - same result. Cancelled again, and ended up being able to buy 4 of the 12.

I have loved using this app since the worker in my local grocery store explained how it worked and I finally gave it a try. I even told many a friend about it. But (you could tell from my rating the "but" was coming) since the last update, not only can I no longer find the stores near me because the location doesn't work properly, the app now adds a 5% "service fee" on top of your purchases. So, I'll go back to looking for clearance tags on the shelves in the market instead!

Very cheap & affordable, but there's no way to control whether or not grocery stores will give you edible produce (20%-40% of each box I've gotten has been moldy) For the price, it may be worth the hassle to some. Also the app has more bugs than the average app, which causes it to lose your location or freeze often.

If the clerks aren't careful things you order aren't there. It's especially a problem when you have like items and they give the wrong one to someone else. Mostly a good experience and I've gotten a refund for things that weren't there. Update: I stopped buying things through the flash food app because too many times I could not read the packages. Why aren't you using the technology on the site that lets you pinch an image to enlarge it? Every other site uses that technology for images?
