It brings a new sound to the music and doesn't crash on you. Works good on your car stereo, if you don't get interrupted by calls. Works good on your Bluetooth speaker too. You need to be patient on adjusting the tune you want. Summer time is here, you want to blast your music while cleaning or driving, Perhaps a party, this is the app for you.

Has everything you need without a super complicated looking UI, everything is simple but neat, plenty of preset options if you don't wanna have to fine tune it yourself, very pleasing on the eyes too, changes in the audio happen as soon as you adjust a band which is much appreciated because surprisingly not every equalizer does that. Tried this out just today and am already impressed.

Used to be great until they sold out and stuck intrusive ads in that stop your music and force you to watch several seconds of ads before you can skip them and get back to the music. It wasn't like this before, just one clickable ad at the bottom that you could ignore. Not they want to ruin the whole experience unless you pay. No thanks, not paying for an app this simple. I'll find a new one

I've used the free version for a while without issues, and the ads were manageable. Now I have to wait 30 seconds just to change settings. The alternative is to pay $2 per week. This is a sound setting app - you're crazy if you think I'm paying $100 a year for this. Edit: tried out Music Volume EQ and it works the same, for free, without the type of ads that lock me out for half a minute.

Works perfectly and allows me to use my different music, podcast, or other audio apps as well as YouTube and other online media with no problems at all. Offers plenty of adjustments to dial in the perfect sound for whatever I'm listening to, and also many great preset eq options. The bass & volume boost is great too. Sounds good with headphones or on my home stereo. It's a must have on all my devices now. Absolutely the best option available for this sort of thing I've found so far hands down.

The sound is awesome! It's a basic EQ but I like it, very reliable! I had to update my review of this app. I stand by my comments regarding the great sound of this app, but the app creator changed the way adds are run. Now the adds are more invasive, they are 1 minute long and much more frequent. Also you can't exit out the app and restart it without the ads picking back up at the beginning. Sucks that they made they changes, so I will have to find a new eq app.

App works great for my needs and enhances the volume and sound on both headphones and speakers in my experience. To the guy who said it keeps cutting on and off: did you enable battery optimization? I had the same problem when I switched to a new phone and eventually realized this was what I forgot to do and it was fixed. EDIT: Latest update added a startup screen. Now it takes longer to open each time. We already know it's an equalizer app, no need to remind us everytime!

Was a decent equalizer, when it worked, but it has gotten worse over time. It has a lot of trouble detecting when music is playing. Have to restart the app multiple times and it still doesn't work sometimes. Also the ads have gotten out of hand Literally very time I open it or after almost every settings change there is a full screen ad and sometimes the app gets stuck on the ad.

Wow, I wasn't expecting the app to just...work, but it does. Would be cool to be able to visualize the music being played with a visualizer to see what frequencys the music is hitting, also to be able to select between a multi band eq and/or a larger 31 band studio eq also to be able to get a parametric eq that you could sharpen the Q wouod be awesome! I would complain about the size of the controls but, it's on a phone screen it's not terrible. Anyways, yeah it works decently.

I would give 5 stars because it allowes me to fine tune the sound I want, better than my phone's default settings. When I switched it off, the different was night and day. It's straight forward and effective. Ads are a reasonable compromise for me. Update: reduced rating because it's buggy. The EQ will cut in and out as if someone were flipping a switch on and off repeatedly. It's actually quite annoying.

Deceptive sales tactics on " free trial". They give no info on how to cancel. If you try even for one song and just uninstall, you get charged. Then you have to reinstall and dig around to find their support email and attempt to get them to cancel and refund. Any app with a free trial should be required to have clear instructions on how to cancel and it should be easy.

I can't in good conscious give this app any better of a rating. Simply for the fact that the ad removal *subscription* feels predatory. I don't even care about how the ads are integrated (every time you open/switch to the app, there's a chance an ad will pop-up, No big deal) but the auto-renewing $14.99 PER WEEK!? There's nothing I can think of that is worth a $60 per month on an app. And the weekly charge makes it feel like you're trying to get as much money before they realize and cancel.

Wanted to buy an equalizer for my car since my head unit has great sound but lacks fine adjustment and this app works flawlessly without the cost and interference of physical units. I've even found myself using it with great success while working sound gigs without a proper deck. (The app will however, annoy the hell out of you until you rate it... The review is honest though)

This app works great when it comes to its actual functionality. However, recently I have noticed that they added a different type of ad that when you open the app pauses your music to play audio, that's part of whatever ad is shown. They also recently went to a new subscription based ad free version when they previously had a buy once and lifetime ad free version however the app never actually let me purchase this. Would give me an error when I tried to pay.Don't let greed ruin something perfect

This app is truly exceptional. It actually does what it advertises and I have not encountered any bugs or disruptive ads. In my case; my phones audio was noticeably weaker but once I started running this app in the background it really improved the sound. Thanks to the development team behind this; I hope more people discover it over others for it's quality.

Can no longer recommend. This used to be the best, most simple EQ app put there. Functionally, it still 100% is. Awhile ago, the app updated to now ensure every single time the app is opened - and this includes every single time you simple go to your home screen or another app and back without closing it, a video add will always play. Audio is always on, so you will have to mute it, and all ads will have two close buttons to hit. When opening it, sure, but every time I go to another app? No.

It was perfect for literally only a few hours though.. After downloading it worked exactly As expected for most of the evening but then suddenly it got to where it was literally making 0 change in the sound whatsoever. Weather for my device or through Bluetooth devices. It would be great to see if fix for this or if anyone has any suggestions. That would be great too.

Used to be amazing. 5 stars even. But ever since one of the most recent updates it has been rather annoying. The ads are pretty invasive, with there being an add upon every time you open the app, with some ads being up to a minute long and unskipable. I personally don't mind ads al that much, but it is quite frustrating with the amount of ads. Not to mention, with the latest update, the bass option now completely blows out the lower end. It used to be smooth, now it's completely distorted.

simple and efficient ui, minimal audio errors, (and the few that appear are usually fixed by just restarting the app) it has ads, but not an unreasonable or ridiculous amount of them. The app developer did the ads in a way that I honestly don't mind watching an ad every now and then to help support this app. Overall, if you're looking for an app that you can use to equalize your audio and add a couple of simple effects, without overly complex controls, this one is a solid choice, great app! :)

Great app overall. It offers bass boost, loudness, virtualizer, and customizable sound profiles—everything you need. However, it’s not ad-free, with ads appearing when you open the app and occasionally when you click buttons or switch back the app. The biggest downside is the cost of the ad-free version, which includes a few extra, in my opinion, unnecessary features: $14.99 per week.
