It's useful in spreading the rental payments out and helpful apps, but it seems to hang up for days before processing the payment . The other issue with the app is that when messaging in through email for assistance, the representative doesn't offer many options to resolve issues with processing payments. I believe payments will process, but if there are errors developing, it will not correct itself only just to reveal the payment, I would suggest a live representative if problems occur

I really enjoy being able to utilize this app it has helped so much especially being paid by weekly. The only thing that I wish the app would allow is the option to pay both the first and second payment early. As of right now it only allows you to pay the second portion early. Otherwise it's a very great tool to have in your toolbox. I also love the fact that I can stop using it at any time. What's the cost of rent these days it has really been a game changer 😀 Thank you flex.

Horrible experience! The money was in my account and despite repeated efforts to contact Flex I couldn't get a live agent to assist with the processing of the rent payment Flex definitely needs to revise the app and the technology that they are using! this has caused a late fee to be assessed with my property! Precisely what I tried to stop from happening. Disappointed to say the least.

Sure it helps with paying rent. My issue is the amount changes on the 1st which is misleading. Also the membership fee should be taken out when the rent payments are taken. The fee to pay rent is a bit ridiculous. So it's basically around $25 a month to use this service. Should also be able to have more than one card on file as things happen. I appreciate the help but things could be better. Hopefully I'll get back on track soon and won't have to continue using.

Flex pays your rent in full on the first of the month. You make 2 monthly payments plus a $15 membership fee on the 15th of the month. Autodraft is required, but they let you choose the second payment date. The fir payment is auto drafted on the first. The second one is auto drafted on your chosen day unless you decide to pay early. Very convenient. My only suggestion is to give the ability to pay the membership fee early as well or an option to combine it with the second monthly payment.

The app was working until I added a new card. The billing address I entered changed, when I correct it, the app always switches the address back. So I have enough money, but the payment fails. Rent is due today. Customer service has been useless. AI chatbot sends me links to unrelated things. I got one reply email which didn't even address the issue. This is a criminally bad app.

Irksome. App got picky that my estimated rent was $3 high, so went to fix it; app then wanted me to put in 1st payment amount - which means it's still talking more than one a month, right? Nope, "1st" payment was supposed to be total monthly rent, so it split the value in two - and wouldn't let me back up or otherwise fix the math. I give it 2 stars just because it let me send the "second half" right after, but that's still not the total I need to ACTUALLY send in for the month! Frustrating!

Absolute terrible customer service. Property changed portals and there's a glitch that won't allow Flex to be used and all Flex keeps saying is re-link the property but the error message says "cannot contact your property biller". Every customer service rep says the same thing without looking at notes from previous ticket. Absolutely unsat.

This could have easily been 5 stars, but I don't like having to pay $15 a month membership fee plus 1% of my rent every month! That adds an extra $12/month, which comes to a total of $27.00 a month to use this service. My property has a different way of paying which actually gives you 1% of your rent back every month, which I I'm going to switch to ~ AND IT IS FREE! The app is easy to use & making rent payments half at a time makes overpriced rent easier to afford.

I enjoy that this allows me to have more control over my finances. I can choose to pay everything all at once if I can afford it, or I can let it maintain the two split payments if I have other obligations coming up. Plus, the fact that it helps build your credit where paying rent otherwise does NOT count toward your credit (only failing to pay and evictions affect you otherwise, negatively). Thank you, Flex, for helping me find better financial freedom and solutions

Its nice it splits it into two payments. They charge you 15 a month to use their service and they charge you for each payment too, it wasn't clear what they were taking until the last update on the app now it shows they take a percent and what it is. The customer service is the absolute worst, and there's no phone number, only email and it's the absolute worst when you have a issue.

My experience has been very good. I hope they give other options to pay other bills like, phone bills, vehicle insurance bills, and storage rent bills in the future. This would not only enhance the application and business as a whole, but it would also help build credit through other accounts that sometimes do not necessarily positively impact your credit regardless of never being late on payments. Plus, it would provide users with an easy way to track all their payments in one place.

I'm giving it a 4, just because I have been going on strong every month with no extra worries. FLEX has helped me with payment of my rent, I pay them back with no issues, also pay the fees. My only issue is worring if there's an update, and I do not constantly check my emails, last time there was an update, and included me having to re-enter my property address, I didn't see this until the 1st of the month.

It's a nice system to use when you have an unstable income, but it's a bit unwieldy and won't accept some debit cards. If you pause the service they still charge you a fee In the middle of the month, I suppose they say it's the membership fee. For me I have seen many glitches. Stopped it for a month still getting charged a fee....then starting it again to see it was showing the current month like it was going to charge me instead of the up coming month. Customer service is email only.

I would have given 5 stars, but I do have one issue/concern with the program. I think the program is good overall. However, I wish it was an option to split the payments into three or four equal payments across the month. I feel that would be more feasible especially with the economy the way it is now. Also in the app it shows the amount for payment for rent as well as on a bill that is emailed to me, but for the last few months an extra $49 is charged with my first payment and no one knows why.

I like the option of splitting bills but I CONSTANTLY have issues with their payment and they making errors.... *UPDATE* THIRD month in a row issues have been occurring. Last month they tried to say I didn't make payment and to fix in portal, it wasn't until I sent screen shots to show proof they already took payment and it had been processed they corrected issue. Now, this month;the THIRD month in a row, they paid the WRONG PROPERTY my rent. Im currently trying to clean this mess up.

I've used Flex for a couple months now without issue, the problem is one day I make a payment and I get an error screen. I waited for a bit and now insufficient funds. Checked my account and boom, I was charged. The customer service is abysmal, I've tried over the last two days for something to happen but I've gotten only "we're looking into it" again and again. Now I have a late fee and I may not get that half of my money back.

Chat bots don't assist, support pages don't show accurate information, can't change 1st payment, and can't process a manual payment, like every other app I use for paying bills! Edit: the response I got was a script answer, which was not helpful. If your "agents" don't know the answer, or can't do something, then find someone who does, and who can.

Useful app in a pinch, especially in the economy's current state of low pay vs high costs. Two major parts that makes no sense though: 1. You are only allowed to change the amount of your second payment, not the first payment. Meaning you need to do an unnecessary amount of math just to set up your payments. It is backwards and frustrating. 2. The monthly fee never gets charged with the second payment like it is supposed to. Just add the fee into the calculation instead of charging us after.

Edit: Charged $955 without my knowledge that I even had a service with them. In the end it seemed to be a misunderstanding however, it was extremely frustrating in the beginning to get this refunded after many emails. They seemed to have taken the matter more serious the more emails that I sent and service gradually improved. This app has an opportunity to fix some things to continue to improve their service, such as transparency through text notifications and authorizations... hope they do it.
