This app is a joke. Ever since the last update, i randomly just get locked. I called customer service, on hold on and off for an hour, reset everything multiple times. I can log on my computer just fine. Restarted my phone, deleted and redownloaded app. Still cant get on. I give up. Ready to switch banks because it shouldnt be this hard to view MY money!

I started using this app in 2018 and particularly liked the feature that allowed depositing a check by taking picture of it. Suddenly, in March 2019 this feature stopped working. The app freezes when clicking buttons either to make deposit or view deposit history. Little use for the app without this feature.

If I could give no stars I would. I've had issues with the app ever since I opened an account with them. They've never been able to fix the problem. Now it says there is an update. You click to update it, it goes to open or uninstall. You click open and starts all over. PNC is a much better bank and never any issues. I'm switching

I wish I could enclose screenshots. App force closes MULTIPLE times before it loads the log in screen! My device pops up with a error message reading, "Something went wrong with FNB Direct, FNB Direct closed because this app has a bug. Try updating this app after it's developer provides a fix for this error." Ummmmm... 🤔 I NEED ANSWERS!!

Tried to deposit a check from my insurance company. Kept telling me the amount I entered and the amount on the check did not match - 5 times! I could clearly read the typed amount on the photo. Never had this issue with my previous bank that FNB bought. It has truly been a nightmare (and not just the app) since February. I deleted this POS app from my phone and will be changing banks soon.

Was great application. For several years i used it with no problem. Today it started with note Upgrade required. It sent me to play store, just to show that latest version is 1.5 years old. So can't upgrade, can't use because of upgrade required. Uninstall/install brings the same screen. Very upsetting. Hopefully, this will be resolved soon.

The app functions fairly decent once logged in. The main issue I continue to run into is that the app is finicky with regard to recognizing my password. On multiple occasions, over the last several months, I will get locked out of my account for failure to enter the correct password or username. This is a clinch that needs to be repaired immediately, it has been occurring for to long at this point.

At first the app seems to work great but then it doesn't take long for it to start crashing. This app is constantly failing to open and a couple times a month it wipes out my login information. I hit remember me and set a fingerprint enabled because I cannot remember every password and login I have. I should not have to reset it constantly and this is very inconvenient when your on the go.

I have had this app since before it received an overhaul and face lift. The information is still just as easy to locate and the options are easy to execute. I have never had any issues with this app other than when a scheduled update/maintenance was happening and was unable to log in. Even saying that is a stretch for anything negative as it only happened to me one time and it was the very early morning hours. Great app.

Almost got screwed today with not being able to access my account to turn off card guard. Won't secure my connection w/out wifi. Seems glitchy today too. When I called, was told its working fine. But no, b/c it's worked every other time? I checked my phone settings, & for updates. There is nowhere to send feedback, so I'll up this to 5☆s when it's fixed. (Just trying to let you know so someone fixes it honestly lol)

Trying to log in, it tells me I have to upgrade to the newest version. The newest version shows from July 2020. There us nowhere for me to upgrade. I uninstalled and reinstalled but the app still won't work. I have had nothing but problems with this app for months. Ready to completely shutdown my account over this inconvenience. I call the automated to check balances and it says my account does not exist. That has happened since I opened the account 5 years ago.

A real pain to sign in. Doesn't always recognize my fingerprint. And it doesn't show your password after you plug it in so you don't know if you've made a mistake or not. Tonight I signed in, using correct password, and received a verification code call. Continues to send verification code every time I sign in Ridiculous!! You never know when this useless app will call with a verification code. I hate this useless app. Random verification calls or not recognizing my password. Still having same

For those having issues getting in because of "maintanace" delete the app and re-download it. Got me up and running. Gave it a 3 since I really shouldn't have to mess around with it, it should "just work". Also the notifications are odd because it emails me, texts me, and puts up a notification when I get my paycheck. I get it FNB, I got my paycheck. Haha Update: so once and a while it rejects your password. Even if it is correct. Asks you to reset it and still does not work. Lame.

ETA: I don't have issues like others seem to (fingerprint issues?). I'd like to see more functions in the app that are available on the website (bill pay, budget, change categories of spending). Edited 08/24/2020 PREVIOUS REVIEW: Everytime I go to use this app, I have to uninstall then reinstall. Otherwise I love the app, but uninstall-reinstall process is inconvenient.

I love the app, and the new upgrade with fingerprint log-in. One thing i wish they would add is the ability to add notes. When I'm scrolling down through my transactions, it would be nice if I could just add a small little note or memo. The reason i say this, is sometimes when i write a check, that person might not cash it for awhile. After awhile, i might forget the check is still out. I could write a little note there to remind me to keep my balance high enough to cover that check.

Although I like the upgrades, you need to rework the fingerprint scanning.... it appears as soon as you enable the app, which gets in the way of requesting balances. if you cancel, you must exit the app and re-enter, or use the password if you decide to look at an account information... I would suggest placing the fingerprint scan after tapping the login button, then if cancelled, you enter a password

I liked the app until the mobile deposit stopped working a couple of months ago. I keep waiting on it to get fixed but nothing. I suggest not downloading the app till they fix it. They still haven't fixed the mobile deposit. The app is really bad now. It takes days to update then does automatic transfer and charges you a $10 fee even when you already moved money. I'm about ready to get rid of the app and switch banks.

Do not recommend this. The mobile app, full site on mobile, and website via desktop are all inconsistent. One example, an automatic withdrawal will post...then, a day or two later, it's nowhere to be found, no matter how you choose to check it. Now that's only one issue. Even if you regularly keep records of transactions, there are a lot of overdrafts and fees. I have never had this many problems with a bank in such a short period of time. I literally cannot afford to bank with FNB. Oh, and watch when you send a payment by BillPay. Apparently, they haven't yet ironed out an issue in regards to using an LG phone. If you want to send $58.75, there is not a decimal available. You DO NOT want to put the 75 cents, because it will come up as $5875.00! Please exercise caution using any of their methods of banking online. It's definitely not worth their inconsistencies and fees. I will be leaving them very soon.

I hate apps that force you to update! But even more upset that this update changed the entire layout! Not as easy to navigate! And everything is huge. Therefore, you can only see a couple transactions per screen. It's kinda ridiculous! You want to change things, whatever but why can't you keep the same format? I don't like it. Really don't. Unfortunately I'm forced to live with it since I'm not changing banks.

This App consistently is problematic . It gives me problems logging in . This is the third time your app won't allow me to login although my password is correct when I enter it. What is the problem? You need to fix your App and system . Then when I do try to reset my password .Tells me there is no information on record and incorrect birthrate. Rediculous. I know my own birthrate . Very annoying. .
