Install Focus Dog for free and use its basic functionalities as long as you want. Subscribe at any time to Focus Dog Pro using the in-app purchase. Focus Dog Pro is available as a monthly subscription or as a one-time purchase. Payment will be charged to App Store Account at confirmation of purchase. Focus Dog will automatically charge your App Store Account at the end of your subscription unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of your current period.
You can turn off auto-renew at any time in your App Store Account Settings after purchase and still receive full functionality until the end of your current period, but we can't refund unused portions of the subscription. In-app purchases and subscriptions cannot be shared using Family Sharing.

I've stuck with this one the longest so I guess it's the best I've used. Super easy to set up and start; handful of daily challenges are nice. I think I would be more interested if I could customize.... well, anything. I bought the Pro version so I'm excited to see how this app evolves.

I really like this app I have tried many like it but the concept here is unique and it really helps me with my ADHD in a way that other pomodores don't because of the forward counting timer. I also like how it is encouraging. I don't always want to commit to a select time period so many pomodoro timers do not work for me, and this app is exactly what I needed.

I absolutely love this app's UI & the cute dog. However, the most basic & essential feature of a focus app is that it doesn't allow you to open other apps once u start a challenge. This app keeps this basic feature behind a paywall, rendering the app worthless for mobile addicts. Without that, it is just a glorified stopwatch :( The pro cost is minimal & I'd be happy to pay for it but pro must include extra features like addiction/morning routine trackers, not a basic function that's missing.

great app but there are problems .the streak donuts and the goals donuts even after buying and completing do not work. also some of the buttons for contacting etc do not work. do they feed dogs since their goal is completed or if they fed them in the first place I really hope they do but have no idea tbh. other than that nice app although the outfits were a waste of coins as the dog doesn't wear it most of the time nor can I make him wear it at a particular set of time it just appears randomly.

To me, it is one the best among its competitors out there. Attractive Interface, complete statistics reports, global leader board, tagging your projects and tracking them with different colours in the report, and gamification..Also developer responds to individual feedbacks. Thanks alot for that. I would also love to rename the dog:)

This app is super helpful and keeps me motivated when I need to study! But 1 problem is how you need pro to do the smallest things! And 2, sometimes I can't hear the sound effects when I tap buttons but I really like the sounds so maybe fix that. Overall I really like it already recommended this to my friends and family. Something that could be added could be that you can choose between different dogs (without pro)

Pro+ user here. Since Aug 2024, when I have it set to 'stop cheating' it ends the session when I lock my phone screen, even though the app's open, so the most useful feature is now gone. The app frequently won't open & I have to force stop & restart it several times. Also the 'Hey You', additional links & contact me buttons don't work at all. I emailed in August but still no response, & no app updates in months. I might cancel my subscription as I don't know what I'm paying for.

My app glitches sometimes. Timer can be 1 hour in and when i reopen the app the whole 1 hour is just gone and its at the 0:00:00 mark again. Very annoying. Also, user interface can be better, competition with friends can be more fun (see when theyre studying etc), achievements can have a separate page and there can be more achievements. The dog can be made customisable, and allow us to interact w it.The gems need a greater functionality. I see so much potential in the app, little has been done!

I love the app so I bought the pro version but could be better if there is an option for custom pomodoro timer. I need a timer for 40 minutes but it only gives me the option of 30 and 45. I also want to report a bug that when my setting to stop the session after pomodoro cycle ends, after I collect my donuts the timer starts again and counts up as stopwatch. So I had to press stop button twice. Also, some buttons are not working like contact and bug report buttons and the "+" sign for coins.

The theme is great, and it really does get you coming back again. However I do notice some lack of attention to detail, like the notifications with spelling errors, and general clutterness of the app menus. Some common features are locked behind a paywall, but I wouldn't mind seeing ads in the app if it means having these unlocked.

I love making donuts for Focus Dog! Game elements like unlockable donuts, quests, and upgrades turn this focus timer into a fun and addicting game. Now I have an incentive to get off my phone and get things done. The free version is great, but I was happy to spend a few bucks on Pro+ if it meant supporting the developer. This app has been amazing for me as someone with ADHD and I recommend it to anyone who wants a little extra motivation to get off the phone from a funny little donut-crazed dog.

This is *exactly* the productivity app I was hoping/looking for. It has a nice balance of gamification and motivation without the extremes of other apps that penalize phone users. It also doesn't require incredibly invasive monitoring permissions. Lastly the ui is engaging and fun. Feature request: have a lock screen status widget so I can see donut states without unlocking.

I love this app! Simple, easy to use, but also cute and cheerful! I work from home as a glorified paper pusher. I enjoy having Focus by my side cheering me on every day! And I appreciate that the Pro and Pro+ are offered as reasonably priced, one-time purchases instead of forcing the subscription option. Thank you, Patrick, for a great app!

i don't expect much from this but let's give it a try... edit: few minutes in the app and after a session i get hit with the premium ads, im not able to allow the automatic stop option because it requires you to get the premium option and you're able to roam through your phone while the study section is happening. Though I will say that the game concept is very cute and is attractive enough to get my attention.

It's a great app, but it doesn't always give you the rewards. For example, when you feed him for so many days, you don't get the donuts you should. Or after ending a session the donuts won't load so you can feed him. I've lost out on many donuts and I've spent a good amount of coins on donuts and upgrades but they don't always work or load plus the app doesn't recognize my personal streaks which is very frustrating but other than that it's great. It's probably my favorite one so far.

The dog is adorable, but the ads for the premium version are way over done. Not worth it. I've been using a timer with a rabbit instead, it's less advertisement heavy and I've been loving it. Update: it was four stars months ago, when I tried it for a day, before the pop-up ads after every click. I reinstalled it recently and gave it a longer try. Since you apparently want an explanation for not liking your stopwatch app. My criticism is valid and still stands.

I love the app aesthetics, the leaderboard and everything else you've done with it. I just have one suggestion: the icons on the home page could be changed a bit to make stuff clearer. For example the button that looks like a home button takes you to the store. Also, betting something against friends would make for a niche minigame thing and urge people to be more productive. I think you should add that, if you can, if not that's fine too. Continue doing what you're doing! It's great!

Purchased pro+. I love the app and use it everyday. However, almost all of the buttons in the settings menu do not work. I cannot report bugs, I cannot change my profile picture or information, cannot add friends to see their focus times, etc. I tried to contact the developer via the Focus Dog App website, to no avail. I wish this was more supported with updates and bug fixes, as the app is adorable and very motivating. Unfortunately, the current bugs make it close to unusable.

I love this app, so straightforward and flexible. The pro features can be purchased once with no monthly fees, and the productivity is customizable to pomodoro or just a running timer. Best of all, I don't have to enable the focus failing if I access my phone!! That ruins 90% of these types of apps for me, because I have to use my phone for TFA and password access for work constantly. The graphics are cute with the perfect amount of gamification without becoming its own source of distractions
