Very cute little focus timer! I was glad to see that additional content is planned soon (please hurry), because I'll run out of incentives pretty quickly. I agree with other reviewers that additional rooms, customizable beans, and outfits would be great additions. Maybe some snacks for my bean. It's silly, but these little rewards really do motivate me!

Great! I only have two issues. Firstly, I think if you go past the timer, it should keep going. I often get into the groove of things and down want to stop to restart the timer, and it can re distract me. And secondly, I feel as though you should be able to enable apps in the settings, at it did block the app I use for college courses. I don't often send reviews, but this is so great I had to give feedback, because I think it can be better!

It works, if you let it! I just really can't wait for this app to expand! if you really lock in, you can accumulate currency really quickly, so having more uses for the items is gonna be great. I really hope the team can think of cool things to add, but in my opinion, the sky is the limit! collecting beans, expanding the house, literally the team could add anything! Focus as a currency is limitless.

it's mostly great, but there are some things I would change. I think the whole decorating system needs to be reworked- it would be a lot better if you could choose where you wanted to place different pieces of furniture. Now, it feels like you're uncovering random background graphics. I also think your bean should interact with the furniture, just like sitting on the chair. Lastly, there are apps I'll need to use, so I need to be able to select certain apps to stay accessible in deep focus mode.

I love this app! However, I wish it could allow for some exceptions, so I and others like me who read books on their phone could also read in the Kindle or other ereader app and not disturb the Bean. Maybe comics apps too. It also would be helpful if the app could silence notifications from all other apps, but I don't know how possible that is for either iOS or Android.

Very helpful! I do wish there were a stopwatch feature, sometimes I'm in the zone and my timer ends, which distracts me more than anything. I think if there were a stopwatch feature people would be able to try to beat their top score but it would also help me soooo much not to have to set a second timer because my first wasn't long enough - I end up losing my place in my work and struggle to get back in the flow.

it's a cute app that is exactly as advertised. there are no ads, and it's very simple to use. what i don't like is the extremely expensive in game purchases that it pushes, and the fact that this makes me have to check my phone to start a focus period. it would be nice if there was a way to set it up so it rewards you for simply not using your phone during a set timeframe like work hours instead of needing to use your phone to set it up. decent app, I'm just not addicted enough to need it.

Great for keeping me on task. The amount of times I've set a timer and then later picked up my phone and not been able to do anything because of this game is ridiculous. I am clearly on my phone too much. HOWEVER, I do wish you could visit other beans. maybe during a break so you HAVE to have focus time in order to do so. Maybe you can have friends on the app you can visit and even have focusing competitions on the app. idk! my house is almost fully decorated and I need more!

I use this to stay on task at work. It's cute, but seems like it would lose its effectiveness pretty quickly after buying all the items. I wish there were bonus rewards for focusing past the set time, or partial rewards for focusing part of the time (sometimes a task doesn't take as long as I thought it would, probably because I was focusing the whole time!).

I absolutely love this app! it's super cute, and one of the bean skins looks like my cat. I hope they add tons of more decorations and skins, even maybe some clothes for the beans in the future! I personally am doing homework for 7 hours a day, and I get a ton of socks and scarves made. it almost makes the process of getting decorations a little too easy, so maybe there could be an easy, medium, and hard mode. overall, I think this is an amazing app for people who have procrastination like me.

A simple app, without checklists or pressure - the more you focus, the more your little friend knits, the more you get to decorate their room! I've been using the Pomodoro method for years, and this is a much needed upgrade. The music is calming, the art is cute, the UI is easy to use! Just one request: can we have the ability to remove or store our decorations, if we decide we don't like them or it's too cluttered? It would be nice to have a fresh start to your room sometime.

Works great as a timer. I use it when I wanna do chores or when there's a project I don't wanna do because it's tedious. I just wish there was more because once the tycoon is over, the only options are to either reset the game or move on. The selection so far is very limited. Also, the deep focus mode could be a lot more flexible for free users. I use Discord for work, and I have to limit deep focus usage because of that. I don't exactly have money for a subscription or lifetime pass.

edited review - it used to be 5* because everything was useful and wonderful, especially that they dont collect data and stuff. the issue is that it now has an occasional pop-up asking if you wish to pay. while the things you have to pay for are well worth it if you want to pay for those things, the payment option was already easy to access. Having a pop-up makes it feel a little frustrating. I tend to debate if I want to spend money the more I use a product. ads popping up make me want to not.

I love this little app! It is the perfect incentive to leave my phone alone while I'm focused on other things. One of the best uses so far has been setting it for 15-30 minutes when I'm crawling in bed. It helps me not pick up my phone and do all the last-minute things I think of and then end up distracted and awake until 2:00 am. I get to settle well and still have my phone at arms reach when I wake up or if there is an emergency.

I'd been searching for a focus app desperately and then, like magic, I find out one of my favorite celebrities has made an app for EXACTLY my needs. I'm a knitter. Destroying knitting? Unfathomable. I will protect this bean's knitting at all costs. Which is why this app is PERFECT. 11/10. Bless you, Hank. Thanks! Edit: I do wish we could change the wallpaper and flooring colors in our rooms. 💜

I love it for sleeping, just getting off my phone for a few minutes in between activities to clear my mind and reading. I wish there was a black cat bean for Halloween, and different music (maybe for sleeping?), and I heard talk about more rooms which would be cool. focus house that timers built. oh, longer timers? but, it's really great so far, and I'm really pleased with it.

I struggle to keep reading when my phone is within arms reach. Focus Friend has given me a low key nudge to keep from reaching for it between chapters. I don't use the locking feature, so I can still get in if I need to, but the little nudge is just enough to keep me from doom scrolling endlessly. The app is also undeniably cute. I'm looking forward to new updates and new decorations!
