Special Features of Photo and Video locker app:
1. Change App Icon
You can change the app icon displayed on the device. Camera and Folder icon can be selected to disguise.
2. Fake Crash
Display a fake alert message as app has stopped with retry button on every app open.
3. Break-in Alerts (Intruder Selfie)
Takes a selfie photo of the person when entering wrong password on the app lock screen. You can enable option to play a Siren horn sound too.
4. Recycle Bin
Photos, video and private files deleted inside the app are stored on the recycle bin for 60 days after delete. So you can restore or recover if you have mistakenly deleted them.
5. Random Password Keyboard
When you open the secret app, the keyboard arrangement is different each time. So near by person cannot guess the secret app password.
6. Share to FolderVault
You can lock photos and hide videos with out opening the app. Choose your private files and click share and select the Folder Vault app icon. All selected private pictures and videos are automatically locked inside the app.
7. Fake Password (Dual gallery locker)
In critical case if you are required to open the locker app, you can use the option to show a fake gallery. You can also use this as a secondary locker too. Note: Settings will not be available on the fake gallery locker.
8. Hide icon
The vault app icon can be hidden from the device icon list. No one will know you are using folder and file locker app to hide pictures and private videos. Make sure you try how to bring back or open the app when its hidden.
9. Disable Keypad
The app keypad can be locked for few seconds if entered a wrong password. This feature can prevent anonymous access easily.
10. Screen Off Action
In Emergency case you can assign an action when needs to be done. Either lock the app or quit app and goto device home screen. This is really helpful in many cases like, you receive a call when viewing hidden photos or videos
11. Export & Unhide
if you have too many files and folders locked in the app. this feature helps to unlock or export a copy of locked files in one click.
12. Backup & Restore

At last founded an amazing locker application with no in-app purchases and no advertisements. It completely free with tons of pro features, That's really wow, but one small thing is missing that's no support for cloud storage.Anyhow Hats off to the team. Good luck..

Tried to secure a docx file. Locking it was easy, worked well. But the only way to get Word to open the file is to completely unlock it and do it outside this app. That's a pain. It should be able to decrypt, edit, and recrypt internally.

Good app but the only problem I have faced is that the zoom on photos is problematic for me. I can zoom with my fingers but the zoom out to normal maximum happens right after i let go. So, if maximum zoom in with fingers would hold, that would be good.

I do enjoy the app very much and its very helpful for hiding photos, but some reason it won't play any GIF's I put in the folder even though it is still a GIF when outside the folder, It is also strange considering that it was able to play GIF's in earlier updates.

I used the backup function before changing my phone. Now all the files are gone and the download function does nothing. I've lost everything! DO NOT USE THIS APP

Very very useful app to lock all my business documents and files. Easy backup and restore of files. No wastage of time in seeing some unwanted Ads, as this app is totally free without any Ads. Finally am happy and feeling secured with this perfect app...

Few minutes ago I've updated the app, then it is not even opening in my device with the error message "Unfortunately Folder Vault has stopped" it is annoying. I've some memorable photos hided in the vault. 28/03/20 Now I can access this app. Thanks Developer Team

Even though it creates a "hidden" folder, programs like VLC player and the players in X-plore file manager can find the folder and play the "encrypted" videos and display gifs and some photos. Not very well protected.

It's a great app, yes the ads are a bit crazy if you're online, but can't fault them for trying to earn money. The only problem I have is when I'm scrolling through my images, if I click on a photo, and I press back, it automatically takes me back to the top of the folder. This means I have to go all the way back to find where I was. I was wondering if you could fix this. Thanks.

Caution :- Cheaters. Not reliable at. I have the same old version in which my data was kept. After a while the last app got removed from playstore. Moreover that app keep asking for the update. After updating, it doesn't work. My files are still locked and i am unable to retrieve. This app came with the notification that migrate old app data. After downloading, nothing was happened.I have mailed them, but no respond. I warn people not to take 1% chance to download.

its been great all this while but recently adding of photos has been lagging too slow for the add images to pop up..it wont detect any latest ones after the update..please fix this! its still the same when trying to upload images it will go to preparing loading mode which takes a looong time & when your picture appear there wont be any recent ones!

(edit : looks like it is fixed) The app works, but when I unhide my photos 1/3 of the photos are unreadable. The previous edition GalleryVault was working good, but since new editions, it doesn't work well... I uninstall and forget this app (even if I paid for the previous edition).

I have been using the app for some time & it "was" a good app. Now, I m not even able to open the app. Not even the worst part, the app hangs the phone briefly, I have to force stop the app to resume functionality. Could u pls look into it. It has been a couple of month and still have not got a proper response..... Latest: I deleted the earlier version & installed it agn, it works, but I can't find any of my old photos in locker. Now I m hesitant to use it again coz it can happen agn.

Awesome, includes ability to change icons, fake error messages, pictures of intruder attempts, and even alternate logins that include different information. I don't like ads, but they keep this app free so it is more then worth it.

I have changed my rating from one to to four stars because the app was able to lock files on my external SD card. Now it works well. But the ads have become so intrusive and there doesn't appear to have a paid version of the app to get rid of the ads.

SUCCESS. VERY GOOD APP. My requirement was to hide files in sd card memory (no eating phone memory). I tried about forty apps, all are using phone memory to hide files. Finally I win with 2 apps 1) Google files , but no option to make a folder in locker, and so no way to group the files. 2) This App. Here we can create any number of folders in locker , and so grouping. Now I have 25 gb hidden videos in sd card ( my phone has only 8 gb memory)... Thanks... No other apps like this..go forward..

It's been a great app so far but now that I want to move files from one device to another it's been a pain. What's the point of backing up to cloud when I can't restore from cloud? I even back up to SD card,move it to the new device it now tells me it's an invalid zip. I have tried several working SD cards same issue.i emailed support several days ago and still no response.I NEED HELP !!!!!!!!

This is a great app, it does exactly what I need. I've moved many files in and out of the vault reliably, over months, never gave me any trouble. I've come to trust it with my data. Unfortunately, as of lately it started showing a small add. It's not very intrusive, I think most people wouldn't mind, but I hate ads myself, I can't abide them. I would be happy to pay for an ad-free version, but until there is one, I'll have to find a different app.

I really love this app and the features like anti break-in and all that stuff. It's honestly great and I do wish I can support you guys in some way, this app delivers more than I ever expected. Easy 5/5 stars. P.S. I don't know why, but I can't change it to languages other than English and no offense, but the English isn't top notch (the fake crash isn't convincing when the English isn't the same when it actually crashes). Please get that fixed sometime in the future.

At first I thought this app was great, until I had to switch devices. Now none of the stuff I had saved is in the app and I can't seem to find my files anywhere. Also, can't sign in because it tells me wrong user credentials. Which is a bunch of BS. Would be great if it didn't do something with all my sensitive files I really needed but now can't seem to recover.
