Undecided. The saying goes that if you aren't paying for a product/service then you are the product/service. I can't understand how this service can be free with no strings attached. Data collection, profiling and selling to data brokers come to mind. If there is nothing nefarious about the service then the app should be able to be run offline with device backup and restore. I noticed that device backup was removed in later app versions.

Lacks NFC. I was hoping to add a credit card to use it for "tap" payments. Otherwise, what's the point of adding credit cards to this when I can use Google Pay? Maybe it does have NFC, I just couldn't find it and I was hoping to have an alternative app to Google Pay.

Very good app, more flexible than other wallets, but support email address is undeliverable. So quite wary of putting in critical documents or cards

Took me a while to find an app like this with the flexibility to upload just about any doc i'd like to have on me at any time as well as some little note sections I can add additional details too said doc and also custom labeling to help with filtering the docs. One small gripe: Seems to be a bug where when putting in the exp for a Credit card as something like 05/01/2028 (May 1st), it'll make the exp date 4/28. I have to do the second day of the month, 05/02/2028 to get it to say 5/28

First time checking this app. It looks okay so far but there is no option for automobile insurance proof card for example. Also no option to add say just a business card. I may be wrong so please do let me know.

Overall it's a good app but mentioning alternative to google pay or apple pay is not true as it lacks NFC which should be a basic requirement for a digital wallet in this digital era. I downloaded it for this exact purpose but I am dissapointed.

This is a great app, BUT and a big but, after an update it cleared everything, I couldn't log in at all, all my info was gone. I want this app, it does what I need but I also want reliability, I went tovthe app to get a card details and I couldn't get in, this has so much potential, but if an update messes it up that's not good. I will give it one more try and really hope it keeps my data this time. Thanks.

Upon trying to set up my account it would not send a verification code to my phone number. I contact support they don't seem to know what I'm even talking about. I try to get verification code through email, it worked that way but still did not allow me to register my phone & get my verification code. More useless emails. So after day & a half I get it to work except that it really isn't working, the only thing it will scan is my driver's license. Good concept, too bad it doesn't work.

Moved to a new phone and when Folio reinstalled none of my information was there!!! Don't put your info into this thing! The developer's response doesn't help much as they did not clearly note this during installation or use and, in these days when everything is stored on the cloud with encryption, forcing users to manually do back ups is a recipe for disaster. What happens when, as happened to me, the phone suffers damage and there is no opportunity to back up the data. Will be uninstalling and looking for something that provides more protection.

Started off great with driver license, but noticed there was no way to fix date format for US. Added Covid card as "other", but no way to rename, so adding more "other" could make a confusing list if you have many cards. Finally, it was unable to verify my voter registration card (aka "Election card"). Overall, great app, but falls short in area of customization for US users. 4 stars is average of 5 for what it does and 3 for its usefulness for me personally. May try again later.

I'm trying to upload my Covid vaccine record. It won't take a as a member card because it is a different size. I can't manually take a member card picture. Having to trust the app to take the picture is frustrating. I can manually take an "other" picture but every time it zooms out really far. But it won't let me crop it. It's also rotated the wrong way and there is no rotate option. This app wants to be "smart" and do all the work for you but it isn't really that smart.

So frustrating. I want to add other cards (insurance and Medicare) but there only way is via camera and no matter what I do the orientation is off every time! I shoot horizontal and it comes out vertical or upside down . No way to fix. I'm probably just going to move to a different app. 2 stars because adding driver's licence was easy. The rest PIA

App works fine and the scanning of ID Cards,etc is quite nice compared to other applications. Here are two suggestions that would make this a 4 star, maybe 5 star app: 1) Allow user to categorize, sort/organize membership cards. Right now then just get saved in the order they were created. Would be very nice to be able to sort / organize these when you have a lot of them scanned in. 2) Backup to Folio's cloud is nice, but regardless of encryption not everyone wants that stored on your server. Give the user the option to backup/restore to/from local device, Google drive and Dropbox...

I've tried this app on an iPhone 12 and also on a Samsung Flip with no success taking the photo and verifying the cards because the app forces the camera to take a picture when the card is not centered or focused. Developer, give the option to allow the user to hit a shutter button when the card is centered and focused; that would vastly improve the experience. The autoscan feature ruins this app. I've emailed the developer this advice but they don't care to help.

Actually my rating is 4.97, I would love to give it a five and will when they remove the medical card information on the opening page. It's annoying and can't be used by everyone and yet it's in your face. It can be hidden temporarily by hitting the V / jet. But when you leave the app and return the annoying notice is right back there again. I still love the app and use it but would be happier if the nice people at folio would remove that one annoying feature. Thanks for listening to my rambling

1. If it would allow you to open your account on other devices without DEACTIVATING your account, that would be very helpful! 2. Allow more customization features, where you can rename "other" cards etc. And organize in the order u want. 3. Allow a wider variety of storage options such as OneDrive, Dropbox etc. Not everyone trusts your server with their banking info! Overall a great app, and I will update my rating if/when my recommendation is implemented.

Promising, but narrow. It handled my driver's license really well, but did not have a space for health card or various other licenses. Membership card sort of worked, but sort of did not. As a recommendation, have templates that can be renamed. Having a Drivers license template but allowing each card to be renamed with the appropriate name would be great. Go further and have a web interface that allows sorting and editing of cards. As an example, I entered my DL upside down. (User error). but instead of simply flipping it, I had to delete it and re enter it. That is pretty kludgy. There also did not seem any preset templates for loyalty cards. This would also have been helpful. This might be a great app when it matures.

I really wanted to like this as it was the closest thing to what I was looking for. But it has garbage implementations of unneeded security features that make it unreliable and often unuseable. The facial recognition is the first problem as it is very unreliable and can prevent you from adding ID documents and can prevent you from accessing your wallet or restoring your wallet. The second is that it can only run on a single device - if you add it to another device it disables the account on the first device. And when restoring to a device it requires a selfie that it may or may not match to the original you took when setting up your account and may lock you out and prevent any access even though you know your credentials. Complete garbage.

The idea is good and is easy to setup WHEN it works. I had a hard time trying to add some membership cards due to the app closing for no reason while scanning a bar code. Also, when I try to choose a saved card to see the bar code, it opens any other card, I mean, you have to touch the card you want several times until the app decides to open the correct one
