This is an A-grade port, if you were holding out on other platforms because of the price I definitely recommend it here. Obviously it comes with the potential caveats of mobile controls (targeting is sometimes a little finicky, and some customization options would be nice) but throughout the majority of my game time I've been pretty impressed with the controls. The core gameplay loop fits right in on a phone and I've enjoyed playing thoroughly in both bite-sized bursts and hours-long sessions.

This game is fun, but it desperately needs a 'B' button and some more functional means for phone play. It gets frustrating when your unable to open gates, hit specific things or select between object that are close to eachother. I would also like to know why I can't build in areas, but can in other very similar or worse situations... Maybe give us an error message?

Great game, but the build system for floors, walls, and gates is buggy. Components are not placed where it the cursor is targeting. Further, it is sometimes impossible to target certain areas with gates but not with other tools. Please change placing these components to the same system as buildings or seeds. Will update rating after a fix is released.

This game is amazing. I've played through almost every game mode so far. The biggest bug I've found is that the game crashes upon getting the last item in One Island Mode. This has happened to me both times I've tried. The game can be opened back up, but it keeps going without acknowledging completion. There's nothing on the scoreboard.

An absolutely lovely game marred by a poor control scheme. There's entire portions of the game that cannot be fully enjoyed due to the way the mobile interface works. Landfills (a late-game resource required to expand your islands) can only be placed by the "smart" cursor which auto selects nearby objects making placing the landfills literally impossible. I want to enjoy this game because it's fun but the glaring faults in the controls make it impossible to do so. This isn't a new problem.

I have played this game off and on for quite a a while now. My review was even 5 stars at one point. I had to get a new phone recently, and I have a new Chromebook. I can't play anymore on either. Big sad. Just gets stuck on syncing. None of the troubleshoots I've found online have worked. I'm giving up. Gonna try again in a year I guess.

I really really freaking love this game, I would give this game an absolute 5 stars, even more if I could! But, there are some issues to this game. Issue #1: I feel as if the mobile port of Forager was rushed and not looked through, the arrows to select how many items you want to make are to small, the auto selector need a rework. Issue #2: Optimization, it's hard to play the game if it's constantly generating items, maybe try adding tinsy but more to optimization.

Really good at its core. Misses the mark due to controls. Game is very cute and has a fun progression system. I wish items had more descriptions however, like I didn't know the Slime Pickaxe would break things faster until I made it. But anyways, a beautiful and fun game is marred by slippery controls. No option for fixed joystick. It has a weird auto-aim system that frequently aims at the wrong thing. I accidentally hit my friendly structures all the time. Hope these issues are addressed soon.

It's a lovely game and I really like it! The one thing I've found so far though is that the controls are a little wonky, especially for stuff like placing landfills (which is practically impossible in many places because of this), and that it's not clear that the Feat rewards are not supposed to be immediately rewarded, but that you (I think) have to find an in-game place to claim them.

Amazing game, I'm completely hooked. I'm lvl 25 so far and have unlocked around 8 map segments, just moved past gold gear. I love the style of game play, from combat to building and resource management. I'm greatly looking forward to the more advanced aspects like factories and whatnot, there's so much to do and unlock and I have been having a blast. The skill tree and level up system is great. Superb work, can't wait to experience the rest of the game.

This is a really fun builder/survival/grind kind of game. The concept and gameplay are excellent. But the controls are bad even for mobile. One moment you can place an item, next moment you can't. Touch screen joysticks are only passable at best in most games, this really needs a single finger touch input for movement and placing items. Also some items can be placed by using the "use" function but other items can not. For example walls can be "used" but flooring can not. Stardew did it right.

I love this game!! However, after about 12 hours of gameplay it started to crash anytime it tried to save("save and exit", or entering a building. After crashing it will only save about half the time. It makes the game completely unplayable. I hope this get fixed. There are other user experience problems as well but nothing that completely shuts the game down like this one. If this gets fixed in the next update I don't see any reason why this game can be a 5 star game.

This is a gem, if you haven't tried it I highly recommend giving it a shot. I've never picked this game up and not felt like there was something to do, and I've never put it down feeling like I hadn't achieved anything. The graphics are cute and the gameplay is enticing enough (even when slow at the beginning) to keep you interested while you explore dungeons, lvl your skill tree, unlock new items and areas to explore. Solving puzzles and character customization, free content updates woo. A GEM!

This game is fantastic. I own it on the computer and was overjoyed to find it on mobile. The game is so fun and I love the art and music. I really enjoy learning over time, all the different things I can make and lands I can explore. Two small things (I have run into these issues on both mobile AND the computer versions): 1. Placing fences. So frustrating because they are inconsistent&can place other than where I'm aiming. 2. Placing the land blocks.

This is a great game on every platform. I was concerned about how well the touch controls would work, and while they could be improved, they do work well and don't feel like they clash with the game. I have not gotten to the late game yet (droids etc) but haven't experienced lag yet. My main complaints are the the tiny size of the arrow buttons to increase / decrease amount and the fact that you can't define a safe area for the UI for devices with rounded corners or a camera cutout. It is a fun game. Bought it 3 days ago, already put 6 hours + into it. It is a fun game, but with issues. For some reason, the floating wood tiles will become dislocated from their actual position, making it impossible to place another one where it's supposed to be, but you can't walk there. Also, it is nearly impossible to place fences, landfill, roads, and some buildings are annoying to try to interact with. Also, controller is fun to play with, but makes the experience annoying. Fun game, fix

I originally had this game on PC. I loved the PC version and spent hours lost in my tiny little island lol. I found it on mobile and immediately got it. It has lived up to all my expectations and more. I don't have the issue of accidentally rolling as other reviewers do, but instead just an issue where the UI bugs out when I scroll down. Easily fixable by just going back into the menu but it's a very minor inconvenience. Love the game, keep it up!

Been playing for a couple days and this game is amazing. But I can't give it 5 stars. I took a star for each major issue. 1. Graphical. Sometimes the day night filter goes haywire where your position changes its intensity. Sometimes unable to see even with a lantern. Items appear to be another place than where you actually pick them up. 2. Controls. With targeting bound to your position its sometimes impossible to place things where you want them, esp land. Need quick button for healing items.

This is a really good game. It's fun, progressive and entertaining. I have been playing non stop since I got it. I love everything about it except 3 things. The block placement is weird and frustrating, trying to place things sometimes ignores a tile. The speed you get stwords the end of the game makes controlling hard. And lastly when you die, the game boots to load screen and it's the creator saying how hard he worked. A simple respawn would work...

No longer playable. Gets stuck on syncing cloud saves and will not let you load your game unless it can sync. There's also no way to disable cloud saves and any "fix" online does nothing. Why is there not an option for disabling cloud saves. If I could do that, I would be able to play again. Poor design choice. Cloud syncing should always be optional and should always be able to toggle it off. That helps future proof your game to a decent degree.
