I've had this app for a few years and had minor connection problems, but when I changed phones I couldn't log back in no matter what I did. Contacted support and went back and forth with them for weeks and still no resolution. I loved this app because it gave me really good up to date info and breaking news first on F1 issues. Sorry to have to cancel my subscription 😢.

I give 1 star for the telemetry data. Otherwise this redesign ruined the interface which provided very detailed oversight of the race progress but last weekend I was literally clueless about the live timing. The driver position on the track map is horrible - feels like super low framerate of a 100-year old 8086 computer. No matter how I setup orientation, I could not lock in the portrait mode which I like for early morning races while I would be in bed. Landscape mode forces me to get up?!

New app update has made this a sh*tty app. Looks like they did the testing on a laptop screen and not for a mobile screen. I am able to see only 3 drivers timing in landscape mode, whereas in older version, I could see 10 drivers. Also the ability to move the time back is very limited now. Total disaster. Whoever approved this change should be fired.

They totally messed up the app. Absolutely horrible and not worth paying for. Too little room for drivers on the live timing, basic tire information is now on a separate tab, the colors don't provide enough contrast and the animations don't make sense from a user perspective. If you got this for the live timings, like most people do, don't bother.

great to have the information, but too slow, audio is behind the broadcast, by more than 30 seconds or more, ok broadcasters suck. audio doesn't work on my PC. not a great experience, but better than nothing. considering the state of current competion, as a long time fan, I am really close to finished.

Improved in some ways after the redesign; namely I can now paste my password and therefore actually log in. Definitely rough around the edges still, the UX is pretty bad...I feel like it's trying too hard to be cool or edgy, just make it simple and usable and don't overdesign. This is what I do for a living, so I expect more! Glad to see that you are making progress though, keep it up!

This is the balance between 5 stars for user interface/design and 0 stars for reliability. Crashes basically every time I open it on Android, and even on the times that it opens without crashing it says that I am not connected to the internet 60% of those times. I constantly have to force stop it and restart it. Most unstable and unreliable app I have ever used.

Brutal! Ever since the upgrade the audio is 10 minutes ahead of the live timing! Hence spoilers everywhere, the timing graphics sucks, track graphics sucks, not enough info. I would like the "follow driver" option with the live car data but it is useless since you can't see any other info while watching it. Without seeing the timing, your brake, speed, and rpm data is just pointless graphics. Essentially this app has become useless to me. I will be canceling my subscription and going somewhere else for live timing if this thing isn't fixed before next race.

This app is very very glitchy. Almost everytime I login it says I need to login, then I put in my email. It always says it does not recognize that email, even though it is absolutely the email for the account. Then I close the app and choose not to login and it work, strange... That would be forgivable if the all actually worked. When I pull up the live timing (AKA the only reason I am using the app), it blanks out all the times into little squares. This after the latest update too. Awful

A week ago, I'd have gotten it 5 stars. The latest upgrade is pretty to look at but the live timing, the main reason I use the app, is now awful. I can't see the entire field, sector results, color coding to tell me if that sector/lap was a driver's best (green) race best (purple), individual times (now only for the leader, everything else is intervals), where the car is on the track. Those are all things the app used to provide & now does not. But it is pretty to look at (dripping sarcasm).

Keeps telling me I'm not connected to the internet. The old live timing was minimal but now you get nothing for free. About a year since my last review and nothing has got any better. Lost so many of the nice, free features. Only really use it to check the time of the events. Basically a waste of an app. Update: Not having the connectivity issues anymore. App has improved but I still miss some of the timing data. Upgraded from 2 stars.

Like nearly 9,000 others, I find the Sept. 2018 "update" to the app to be atrocious. My main use of the app is live timing, and both the timing screens and the course map have been ruined. The previous version had a marvelous 3D map feature with a map that could rotated, skewed, and showed driver identifications. As others have stated, the timing screen is filled with useless red and gray bars with room for only few drivers in a font much larger than necessary. In this current form, I find the app useless and will not renew for 2019.

Looks like the negative reviews got somebody's attention! I was finally able to reinstall the app and can enjoy the improvements that were intended on the previous update. I no longer have to close the app to exit full screen videos, (a big improvement!). It's kind of weird that it jumps to somewhere in the middle of the next video if you don't return to home page, but it is still manageable. On the ROKU issue, their tech support was able to resolve my issue with failure to launch on their app.

It's clear they are trying to make improvements. The app has progressed since it's first release. However, until they add a "no spoilers" setting, this app will not be well received. Due to most races happening when I'm sleeping, I need to watch replays later in the day. I can't be opening this app to enjoy with the replay since I will likely see a spoiler from the news being the default screen at open.

I'm happy the ability to add the race schedule to the device calendar has been brought back but it's no longer in the settings section of the app which makes no sense. It would be a lot more logical if it were just spelled out in plain english in the settings rather than as a tiny obscure icon hidden in the app. This feature was easier to find and setup in the older version of the app.

Great way to see race schedules, but could use a more interactive feature to explore tracks to get a better sense of their layout. The small picture can be hard to read without the ability to zoom in to each sector, but onboard lap feature is great in that respect. There is a strange bug going on currently. When you open the racing tab, it doesn't show the current track schedule, only future races. But if you swipe out of the app and then back into it, then current schedule shows up at the top.

One of the worst apps I've used in the last few years. UI is not friendly and intuitive, I try looking at live timing and everytime I have to log in again, even if my phone is on the live timing and it goes to sleep, I will have to log in again. I don't even play the fantasy league anymore as it's just as bad an experience. I'd like to give it a zero out of five.

Shocking quality from the official app. You can't see live timing, every time you go to select it it asks you to sign in and then takes you to a cut down version of the web page in Chrome. Whenever you select the live blog (lap by lap basically) it asks you to accept cookies again and launches a 'pop up' interface that when closed takes you back to the cookie prompt again. The web interface is far superior so there really is absolutely no need to install the app.

I love the app, the only things I do not like are 1 the app cant seem to remember my account when I want to read an F1 Unlocked article. 2 when I'm scrolling through the news and I pick and finish reading an article. I'll go back to the list of news and instead of being brought back to place I was originally, the apps takes me to the top of the list. It's very annoying when I'm trying to catch up on the latest.

Great app, keeps me updated with all the results and news, and can work some of the time for live view. That's the thing. I try to view the live leaderboard and within 20 seconds it logs me out and I have to log back in. Every single time. I also wish that when you leave the app temporarily that when you come back you will be exactly where you left off, but no it restarts the app for me every time, and even logs me out of the live leaderboard again. Frustrating but it gets the job done. (Kinda)
