Seems like everyone is getting the same "oh no" error. When u reach out to Four, u get a song & dance. 🙄 What good is the app if you can't use your spending amount? Blah blah, ,"changes." I checked & got the same canned BS email last year that says u r working on an update to fix the issue. It's been a year, and the fix is...just not letting us make purchases at all? I've been a customer for a while, made all my payments every time, and all of the sudden "Oh no" 🤨

Great so far. Have made multiple orders without and only had an issue with one - the merchant canceled it - four support was great and made obtaining a refund of my initial payment really easy. They only asked for a screenshot of the email from the merchant saying the order was canceled and a screenshot of my bank account showing the initial payment had processed and was not pending. Great app, great service. Thanks

All it does is freeze. On my iPad and my phone. My phone is an Android. I have contacted customer support numerous times and no help. When it sends a code for authentication sometimes it's not even my number. Was excited to use it but that didn't last long. I'm updating this review. Customer service did get in touch with me and were extremely helpful. The app works just fine now.

It helps when money is a little tight. It would be better if we also had an option to do four ''monthly'' payments as well on some higher purchases. The app has improved and works pretty good now. I would recommend Four, yes. UPDATE: I Paid everything off and it was a hassle free experience for me. Using four installments made it so much easier to get what we needed, much sooner. I definitely will use FOUR again.

So far I have not been able to use it due to internal issues with the app not generating cards for payment or if it does the cards decline. This seems to be an issue that is fairly common. Once I contacted support their response was immediate, acknowledged there is an issue and are working on it with the developers. Hope this gets fixed soon. I did not experience any issues with support as others reported. In the meantime, Klarna or afterpay have never failed. Will update once fixed and usable.

Terrible, I've placed several successful orders in the past but suddenly can't order. Then I get prompted to sign up for the new plus subscription. $10 later and still can't get one order to go through... So basically I paid them $10 to tell me NO, EVERY SINGLE TIME, regardless of my approved $200 spending limit. After several rejected orders, I emailed customer service. Several days later, still no answer except for a computer-generated line about being too busy. Scam

I came to Four after an awful experience with Sezzle; I had paid for their premium membership ($12.99/mo) to shop at stores I love shopping at online. I was told that, to raise my limit (originally $200), be sure to pay early or on time. To my dismay, as every order I had completed the final payment, with no missed or late payments, my credit decreased gradually--its now $50. So far, Four has been super easy to use. I'm cancelling my Sezzle membership. Same limit & no fee. Fingers crossed!

UPDATE: latest app update has caused nothing but issues. Can't place new orders bc I just get "oh no check payment method" error no matter what card I use, but can make payments on existing orders just fine with the same cards. Well within my spending limits, not denied, just errors. Not much help from service. Been enjoying Four so far. They're available at some of my favorite retailers, no fees or interest for plans, easy to set up. I started off with a pretty decent credit line as well.

Dont waste your time. I just downloaded the app. I found it easy to use until, very quickly, it wasn't. I was given an estimated spending limit. I PAID for their premium subscription to shop at select stores. I attempted to purchase something well under my limit, and it was declined. I was not provided a reason why nor an updated limit. I tried an even smaller amount to see if I could find my true spending limit, and, again, it was declined. No specific explanation. Waste of my time.

UPDATE--- Im changing my rating to a 1 star, even if you have the amount available it decides on every order if it will allow it, I had a $400 limit and couldnt place a $45 order. Past orders were paid on time and never late - if anything, it was paid early. It's a great app and works well... my only issue is that they need to approve every order you have, and you can be denied an order even if you have the credit available.

Really liked this app only thing i wasnt a big fan of was not being able to change payment dates if something happened. Otherwise i never had a bad experience but now they want you to pay for a premium membership in order to shop at places like walmart or target and i think thats ridiculous so i guess now i will no longer be using this after i pay off my last order. If they went back to no memebership i would definitely keep using it, but im not gonna pay $10 a month just to be able to shop.

I loved this app at first. I used it for 1 specific store and had 4 or 5 successful transactions. Then, all of sudden, I was denied 2 or 3 times. When I reached out for help, they couldn't even give me an answer as to what was happening. Used words like for "security purposes" "we can't tell you why". If your looking for something consistent, this is NOT IT!!

My spending power was great off the bat. The only issue I truly have is that I was denied ALOT starting off. 100$ seemed to be my limit on an order. However, after using it for a month or 2 and paging off orders I was finally able to place a 185$ order. Hopefully this keeps getting better. The fair limit is why I started using in the first place.

If you're someone like me who loves being able to purchase something in "Four" payments, rather than breaking the bank with one large payment for an item you may or may not of needed. Well than this is the app for you! Better than all the others I believe the creators and or developers are doing it right! "FOUR +" is a great perk so thanks for collaborative thinking. Always a pleasure when shopping on the app! Suuuuppper easy! Love it !

This was my favorite pay-in-4 app. It has all of my favorite stores, and they very rarely decline any of my orders. I've used it many times over the last few months. Unfortunately, they've decided to add a subscription charge for "premium" stores. I could understand if they added new stores and charged for those, but they're now charging for stores that were previously available! Very poor choice, and I will probably switch to one of the alternative pay-in-4 options.

After a setback with a hold that remained for a card that disappeared on its own, which customer support remedied for me in a short period of time, this app worked beautifully. I made several purchases and each went smoothly. This app works as well, if not better than all of it's counterparts in the field. I use then all, and Four is very good for it's purpose. Customer service is helpful, though I'd like to see a live chat feature down the road for small issues like my hold.

Don't waste your time. It's a scam. Got a $1,200 spending limit. Paid $9.99 for Four+. Couldn't even make a purchase for $35. I tried multiple merchants, very small purchases, & all of my orders were declined. They then refer you to another company called Progressive Lending which is the purpose. They just want your $9.99 and then they deny your orders so that you will be more likely to sign up with their affiliate. I requested my money back & account closure immediately. Waiting for a response.

This app is a scam. They just collect fees and gain commission when you click on their website leads. Based on my experience and I see others as well, they provide an aporoved "spending limit", but ultimately deny the purchase. You sign up for premium services and pay an additional fee, try smaller and smaller purchases to seek approval of some kind. Nothing gets through. They should be sued!

It's just ok. The late fees are excessive and they bombard you with multiple attempts throughout the day to collect the payments and late fees. They constantly attempt to charge your card throughout the day until it is paid. I would not recommend you put your main debit card information on here if you have a tight budget. Also, having to pay an extra $10 for basic stores is just absurd. On top of that, the limit they give you is not necessarily what you can spend so it's pointless.

Awesome shopping experience from begining to the end, great customer service, enormous variety of merchants to choose from , which means you can find pretty much whatever you are looking for in the Four Shopping App..... Who wouldn't love buying whatever they want and only paying 1 fourth down to receive it , plus it helps to boost your credit as well. So I can't believe you're still reading this review, go download the four app , find out what your new spending limit is, then thank me later.
