I've used the Fox News App for years. The latest update has made it almost unusable. I no longer get breaking news notification. When I make comments on articles, there is no way to quickly go back to it to read replies. The Ads are just excessive, but now the pop-ups interfere with reading the news. I can't believe that Fox is so hard up for money, over viewers satisfaction. I'll will be switching to Newsmax if this doesn't improve.

I've used this app for years but it is becoming more intrusive. The most recent update requires acceptance of multi page agreements. I am still a fan of Fox News but I'm done with the app. EDIT: A lot of the 'news' articles now are nothing more than clickbait. The final straw for is having to provide my email address to read the whole article. Uninstalled.

I have used the Fox News app for years and then it started asking me to sign in with my email. So I downloaded the current version and went through the login process. It sent an email to my account and I clicked the link to finish my log in and it told me the link was expired. It could not have been more than 10 seconds after I hit the continue. And really, 30 seconds for an email link to expire?

Ads? Really? Used to be a great news app then it all changed when ads pop up every time you get done with an article. Also, is it just me or are there around 20 articles that just keep repeating forever just in different sizes? There is almost nothing on the app anymore. Feels like a b-rated small town news app that no one puts any time or money into. Sad to say, its getting deleted.

Has turned into a garage app. A news app? I don't think so. Constantly asking for email info "you have exceeded your number of views". REALLY? Not what it was and not worth giving my personal info to, although they collect all of that when I connect. So what's the point? Time to remove them from all devices. Sorry I can not rate minus stars.

I do NOT like the update. Loved the older one better, though this one has not crashed on me yet, so that is something. But it feels more like clickbait than anything else. 05/31/24. No longer able to tolerate. It now says there is an error when I attempt to post, yet am logged in. The ads are intrusive and headlines read like clickbait. FOX, why did you ruin a great news service?

I'm a long term user of Fox News' app. It was great for years, but this version is terrible with pop-up ads and additional log in requirements. I get trying to monetize, but disrupting your user's experience with obvious cash grabs isn't the way. Unfortunately similar issues now persist on the website as well. I suppose that after all these years I'll have to find a different source of conservative news. Very sad day.

I join the others in saying I used to like it. But, the headlines have become click bait. Now they want your email address before allowing you to read the articles,,, so they can spam you with merciless emails. The ads in between articles are expected. But now they have pop-ups you are forced to watch, some of which aren't even in English and you have to guess how to close them because they aren't bilingual. I am about to delete the app. No better than any of their competitors.

Update 5/1/24 deleted the app. The full screen ads either won't allow you to close them or show up every time you try to read an article. Basically makes the app useless. Apparently getting money for those ads is more important than the user experience. Used to be great but now has ads for games and such constantly popping up. Can't read more than one article before one pops up. It's incredibly annoying.

It has become cheesy and slow. There are more fluff pieces than ever before, and when you click on a story, they take forever to load. Sometimes, you are redirected to another listing of stories and have to go through the list before finding the story you had clicked on the first place. I end up just leaving the app entirely!

When you go to read an article it ask you to sign in. Once you tap sign in, it says to check your email for a link. It doesn't automatically send you the link, and when it does it says timed out resend again. This has gone on for 2 weeks. Never in my years of using this app hasvit does this. I un-installed. Still does it. I went on line, same. Time to find another news source, one not so annoying.

This app does not work anymore with Xfinity as the provider. When asked to log in, I go through the process log in my xfinity app and approve the login, and it then asks me too login again. This is the most exasperating app in a world of bad apps, I have tried to use. All this supposed security, to do nothing but watch a show. In the end you are not validating me as the user, just my phone, and for nothing of real importance.

Long time lover of this app. Agreed to ads. But some ads are so aggressive. I scroll by and up they pop, and I am stuck with ad. I have to close out Fox and return to it to continue with the news. Now, I can't open the news headline unless I give my email, etc. So, in a week I will delete your app unless you value me as a reader and change.

I have used this app for years but ever since they added "email verification " it no longer works just endless loop of send email and no email sent. It's hard enough to find a News source you can believe but I guess I'll just try to find another one. Its funny the app worked just fine until they decided to make logging in "easier". Thanks IT dept. Way to chase away your loyal readers. Good bye Fox

I found the alerts fairly useful in the past (and would have gone 4 stars), but the new full-screen pop-up ads, some of which cross the line into malware by interfering with my phone (disabling buttons, no warning taking over screen). Now you want even more of my personal data by signing in. Wasn't blackmail with the ads enough. I do like good, well-behaved ads. They help alert me to products. These ads, however, push legal in multiple ways. (Malware? Attaching names to bad experience for cash)

Fox News has been a great place to get information over the years, but that has changed along with the app. The app is now restricting access to stories unless you provide your email and pop-up ads are invasive. Content is becoming more and more click-bait like. Many stories have spelling issues and repetitive sentences or even paragraphs. Reporters are lazy with their content - regularly not providing any real investigative initiative. I assume there are no editors. Deleting app.

The Fox News app is no longer user-friendly since they loaded AI, ads, and videos, making it slow and difficult to open. I suspect AI is screening what I can see. My Android phone is only a year old, but the newest update takes several minutes to open. On top of that, there are annoying full-page digital ads that pop up and obliterate the screen. The news content has changed from reporting to National Enquirer-style stories. I'm done with Fox. I'll be using Newsmax and Daily Wire instead.

I used to very much enjoy the Fox News app. I felt the content was good and app functioned well. Now, I am ready to dump it. The headlines are ridiculously sensationalistic and misleading, ads pop up randomly everywhere, and lately half the stories I click on won't allow me to read the story! They want me to give them my email address in order to read the article. I already have your app! I get enough junk in my email thanks. It has gone way downhill.

Trying to read all POV, but now this app doesn't let you read articles without supplying your email. Fine. However, it would be nice if the link sent to "activate" doesn't come back with an "expired link" error every. single. time. since they started this BS. Don't get me started on them hijacking the article with a full page video game ad that pops up halfway into reading an article - assuming the app allows you in to read more than just the headline. The app has become unusable.

Nope. You may not capture or hijack my browsing experience. I read an article. It has a citation referencing an article published by another site. I clicked the link. It attempted to load the site in one fox app browser. It failed to render the page properly. I don't want fox News to browser. I have a browser for that. The problem is that when i copy the link, it copies the text of the link, "The Free Press.".. not the link. I have to go search for the article. This is too hard.
