I enjoy the general idea of the game, but it's soooo darn long between action. Definitely a cash grab with the expensive boosters. If you don't pay, expect to be playing 4-6 months before you get your first legend card...and I could see it taking up to a year before you get your first ultimate. I understand $ is needed to keep a game running, but this is just ridiculous.

This game is rigged, you will stop winning regularly around levels 25-30 and around level 50 or so challenges will become near impossible unless you spend a lot of real world money on upgrades and boosters. Theres no way to actually play games like in other apps, so the computer is in complete control of whether you win or lose. Plus you have to wait 16 hours between seasons (unless you are willing to part with $7 to speed up the clock). Blatant cash grab, don't even bother downloading.

I don't know what I expected but this wasn't it. This is a card collecting game that is masked as a simulator. The most interesting part it watching the game sim actual games. There are daily tasks that can be completed in 10 minutes then you wait until the next day to do it over. Unless you spend money is hard to level your team as quickly as the seasons change. Very disappointed.

Very fun and addicting game. Has plenty of merits that make it worth playing. Big negative points are as such. Line strength is a bar and not a number, there is no reasoning behind the line compatibility (i.e. won't explaine/show why some players do better with others), you can't see the players your opponent uses in their lines. As fun as this game is, I would look for a better one. They are missing some very big key points in a management style game. They're sticking with their "cash cow"

I have played 10 plus seasons, all of which my team was 1st place overall, once the season ends and your waiting for the playoffs to begin, if you don't have a skip to the postseason you lose right away. 5 straight seasons that it happened to me 6 times overall. And you have to purchase the skips for $6.99 plus tax. No thanks I'm not going to pay just to keep playing.

Very entertaining and a good time killer for a few hundred levels but once you get to higher levels the game drags out seasons horribly not sure if it's a money grab or for longevity but it gets pretty annoying to play through the same season of challenges 15 times to fail the same way everytime with one game to win or one goal to score to complete the challenges to advance. To then wait 15 hours to try again and repeat cycle for 15-20seasons just to get a new set to start all over.

Disappointing. I do like the game and the quick seasons but the game encourages you to make purchases. You are able to skip to the playoffs the first few seasons but after that you have to wait for the timer to end. It is cool I suppose but you can finish a season in 10 minutes then have to wait 15 hours and 50 minutes just to start the playoffs. It wouldnt be a problem if I wasn't losing to teams with lower ratings. Why wait 15 hours just to start the playoffs you didnt even make it to? Uninstalling

Nearly perfect mobile game aside from the long wait times to progress. I was super into it at the beginning when you could easily pass through a season in one go. I wasnt too fond of having to wait for the next season even early on but once I started having to play the same season over multiple times to pass all the challenges I lost alot of interest in the game overall.

This game is great. Simple and straightforward to play. The only issue I have is how badly the game handcuffs you if you dont want to spend money. Having to wait 15-16 hours to start the playoffs after finishing a season is rough. I understand the game needs to make money somewhere but at least give the option to watch ads to skip certain wait times. If the monetization wasn't so offputting I'd give 4-5 stars.

I actually enjoy this game. I wish it were a little bit easier to get player packs though. And I feel like setting up lines should be much easier and streamlined. Instead of only being able to see who is currently assigned to a line, then having to search through your collection (with no position filter), you should be able to select ALL players available by position from the line change menu.

Not a bad game, in fact really fun. The problem is the disgusting cash grab that is attempting to play it. Seasons for example is fun, but you can't even compete without paying $6.99! And that's only for 3 seasons, you have to pay that much every 3. Isn't that a bit much? I'm ok with paying for players, currency, etc...I just would like to see season tokens out of the game, completely ruins it and I've uninstalled just because without seasons, the game becomes tedious. Really hope in the future they take season tokens out, or at least lowers them from the insane price.

Would be cool if there was a draft mechanism to get cards at end of each season. Maybe some kind of trade system with other players would be great. The bonus packs are buggy and dont always load ads. Music just repeats over and over. This could be a really fun game with those improvements. It's not bad if you want a casual game with no on ice gameplay.

The game is really fun, BUT some things make it a little frustrating. 1. I understand having the wait between seasons if you don't pay, but why is it 15 freaking hours? That deters me from playing more. I log in only once a day. Make it 5 hours. 2. More skip to the next season tokens as prizes. 3. More opportunities to get packs, either by using money or reputation points or by winning something. 4. I have been playing over a month and there has NEVER been an available video to get packs.

After about season 10 or so, the game simulator stops making sense or following any type of logic or trend. Don't count on beating a team that you outclass in every aspect. The game will also start getting really tacky/underhanded with the season challenges; need a RW to get 12 assists? He'll get 11 in the first 12 games and then none the rest of the season. Need one more goal for your team to hit 70 for the season? You'll randomly get shut out your last three games to fail the challenge at 69.

Constant bad beats. Unable to influence game matches. Collecting players and building lines is fun. It's great to be able to slot in greats with current players. However, the simulator for games makes all the efforts in line building and training fruitless. It's really bad. The frequency with which you lose despite vastly superior lines and goalies is unbelievable. Going twenty plus seasons without a cup win is a joke. CBS franchise games for other sports (football) are not nearly as horrible.

Too expensive to play. I don't mind pay to play and pay to win and I love supporting great games. But as nice as this game is, it seems like everytime I touch the screen it wants money...and not $0.99c but $6.99 and $14.99 and not for a full unlocked version but just to be able to play another round. Then its back asking for another $6.99 You could cut the prices in half and the wait times in half and it would still be one of the most expensive and slow games on the market. 15+ hours is unreal

The game is a lot of fun overall. Really enjoy the progress and development. During the early game ( <20 seasons), the player has a sense of steady progress. The algorithm for player acquisition seems a little weighted towards certain positions. I have 2 teams going and each team seems to get a slew of one position while struggling to acquire certain other positions. This makes it difficult to create balanced lines. I would recommend the game to other fans of hockey.

Really like it. It's different from HLM because at least this uses the real names of players. I'm on level 20, so I don't know if there's only 21 game seasons. Maybe make the seasons a little longer. Not 82 games, but 30 to 35. I just reached lvl 100 and even if you achieve 3/5 during the season to advance, they don't give you any legend packs. You have to pay with coins to get them. 8 coins per pack and there's 50 cards from lvl 100 to 149. that adds up if you have to buy to play. It sucks!!

I wish the rp coin shop gave more bonus for higher items. Customer was great when it came to resolving an issue I had. After playing this for awhile now. I have major complaints. I clearly have the better team. I the simulator, make no sense at all. I put a decent amount of real money into this, and I don't see the benefits from it. Don't waste your money buying things it doesn't help.

This game is clearly rigged against the player as others have suggested. I just had a challenge for a RW to get 29 checks. In the first 11 games of the season my player had 20 checks. Want to take a guess how many he had for the rest of season? ZERO!! A player averaging almost two hits a game suddenly can't touch anyone?? That doesn't make any sense. I don't mind losing challenges if it is fair and makes sense but to have half a season go by and they get nothing to compete it is obviously rigged
