I got the Freddy's app over a year ago cause they have good food, and earning rewards was a no-brainer. But now the app is so complex that you can't even log in. That is mainly down to the password requirements. They made it so that you need such a complex password you can't remember it, and the app auto logs you out after closing it so you're locked out after each use. I don't recommend the app cause you can't even use it anymore.

When I heard that Freddy's was updating their app I assumed that I would see improvements. What I saw the first time I used it after the update is an app that was reduced to something far less than it used to be. I was hoping that the customization options would allow you to choose "Extra" for ingredient options instead of just status quo or none. Not only is that missing but the choice of options has been drastically reduced. The other omission is the ability to order online and dine in.

Wow this app is terrible. I had to create an account to pay for the food. Upon creating an account it completely wiped my order and I had to start over. Then I re-made the order only to have it somehow change it to dine-in and am unable to change it. I'm usually pretty savvy with these apps but wow this was a struggle. One of the few apps you're better off just going through the drve-thru instead. Some of the font doesn't even fit correctly and overlaps with other texts. Overall, just a bad app.

The app is extremely slow and buggy. Not my device, it's 100% serverside and makes it easier to just input receipt info for account points. Seriously, Freddy's, fix your app. Then I'd give it four stars and plenty of people would love you for it. As for other input, here's a suggestion I'm sure you get allot of. Have a mobile pickup option for the drive thru. Plenty of people don't want to go into the store plus it looks bad to skip lines just to grab your order when you can use the drive thru.

The new app is disappointing at best, and at worst it doesn't work. It's slow and buggy, often preventing you from making selections when placing an order. Not having a dine-in option also sucks, since now I can't use the app to skip the line to eat at the restaurant like I used to. There's also no way to customize drinks to have no ice or to decide at the store, which makes for a terrible experience. I hope that some of these features and fixes are added in later updates.

God awful app that requires you to log in before you can edit your order. I can choose burgers, even add a sundae. But if you want to look at what your order is overall, gotta have an account. Worse than useless if you just want to use this to see their menu and plan your drive-thru order. Somehow, website is even worse. Their menu on there is outright incorrect. Here, at least you can put together a combo. Cant look at it again, but you can make one.

App visually looks great and ordering is easy. However, I had to change my password for the 2nd time because my old ones become "incorrect" even though I write them down each time, meaning I'm not typing them in wrong. Currently it is taking a while to receive the password reset request. Edit: Apparently all I had to do was create a new account with the SAME email and it still has my points. I think this glitch happens whenever they change password requirements.

I was only going to take one star off because the tipping function is broken and it removes the tip completely when I try to enter a custom number. So, drivers are capped at 20% if customers are paying attention, and 0 if not. But, after I submitted an order it asked me to do a survey, where I explained all this and you can't submit the survey! The submit button is clipped off screen. I can see it for a split second when I open or close the keyboard or rotate my phone. Old app worked fine.

First time app user and yes it was really good. Checkout is easy, they have a good flow of the menu items so you get the same selection as you would in the drive-thru. I liked the ability to be able to change the condiments if needed. The one thing that is missing is the ability to add additional condiments and also the drink selection is not the same as it is in the drive-thru specifically missing lemonade (the best) and sweat tee. So not a 5 star also I grade based on order accuracy.

Can't order, doesn't work at all for me anymore. You also can't choose quantities of items so it takes a long time to put together an order for multiple people. When ordering used to work (sometimes), the app would occasionally experience a problem and delete everything from your cart. There hasn't been an update since September, please fix this!

Another over engineered "Feature" that makes the app completely worthless. Some big ole smooth brain thought it was necessary to location lock the option to place an order to the parking lot. So you're not saving any time whatsoever ordering ahead and no one can pick up the order for you, even if they know the order number and name, a combination that no one would ever guess.

Other than keeping track of rewards points, this app is useless. I realized halfway through placing a large carryout order that I made a mistake. I had to start the order again from scratch because you can't edit or delete individual items. Once I got to the restaurant, I checked in through the app. It told me to notify staff, which meant I had to stand in line to tell them I was there. The app could have saved me time, but it cost me at least 30 minutes. Unacceptable.

Unbelievably slow, and won't even process half the time. Also charges extra to add anything to the concretes, even when the first topping should be included. I ordered at the store directly and my price was just above a dollar cheaper than the app had said if I'd been able to order ahead for the exact same order. Looked at the app, and sure enough, 99¢ per topping, even for the first. Yet they have signs all over advertising their app?! It's a terrible app, they need to completely remake it.

Never has worked once for ordering.... I can get my points code but that's it. I love Freddy's. The line is always huge. Once, just once, I'd love to order to either go pick-up inside or curbside but every single time it gives me an error. I've uninstalled & reinstalled, cleared both cache & data. Nothing works!! Update. Got new app. Doesn't work because I can't sign in. Says my password is wrong but it is not! Tried forgot password anyway but it won't send me an email to change it. App sucks!

This app used to be great but over the last couple of months it's gone downhill. At first it was certain items on the menu grayed out so you couldn't order it but the restaurant has the ingredients to make it. Now when I choose "start order" I get the circle of death. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the app twice now with no fix. This convenience was amazing and I love this restaurant; now I rarely go there because of these issues.

In the menu, in order to go back, you actually have to hit the menu button and start from square one. There is no back button in the app and the back button on the phone (S23+) does nothing. Hugely aggravating. No fault of the app, but I made my first order only to discover after waiting in the drive thru line that I'm required to actually go inside to pick up the app order... unlike just about every other similar fast food app experience I've had. So much for the convenience of app ordering.

The slowest food ordering app I've ever used and it won't even let me place my order 9/10 times. After hiting a button you have to wait at least 1-3 seconds before it registers and only then you can press anything else. Also whenever I try to order a concrete with a combo and I hit "add" after choosing the concrete and size, it sends me to the "earn" tab instead of back to the order page where I can add it my cart.

Login never works. I was able to log in ONCE and then I got automatically signed out the next day and have not been able to log in since then. Not to mention that when I was able to log in the first time, I had to reinstall 3 times, clear app cache, and change my password twice then it worked. Freddy's is amazing and the website works, but this app is just obsolete. Why have a rewards system if you can't even log in to use it?

Unable to login... Ever. Can get into the website and see my profile fine, but the app has not worked, in 4+ years of trying. It worked in 2019, for a few times, but has not worked since I changed phones in 2020. I have reset my password several times. I also don't ever seem to get points even on the website. I love Freddy's, the food is great, but the app is a steaming pile of ....

Lagged responses. Entering order is so slow that it's painfully difficult to complete because you have to wait forever to see if it actually recognizes your selection so you end up tapping more times then required and accidentally make incorrect selections. No issues with any other food apps, just Freddy's. Have to order way ahead of time to make sure your meal is not delayed. *Update, it's been a year and still the same problem with the app. Poor mobile experience.
