Edited: 6-07-2024 Add a option for urgent high. It's a problem to not have a second indicator in the other direction. It's obvious y'all don't have a diabetic people to help with app development. Maybe you will update the app options to lower sound volume when people in public start having heart attacks. I can't tell you how startling it is even for myself for the high pitched sounds. Ridiculous that the app doesn't have common sense options.

Love the ease of checking my blood glucose, and the app contains helpful grafts and a logbook. The sensor can be problematic, I have had frequent trouble with the sensors, and I feel the issues need to be addressed. Because of the sensors' unreliable performance, I have run out of sensors before my refill is due and have had to go without until my refillŹ is filled. Frustrating enough that if improvements aren't made, I may discontinue the sensors for good. O

Do not get this app. This app is unreliable at connecting with the sensor. The alarm ALWAYS sets its self to 100% volume then goes off. The alarm is harsh and aggressive and there are no options to set a maximum volume limit. There have been many times where I am eating or drinking to raise my blood sugar levels and the alarm goes off, startling everyone in the area. I have to keep the alarm off to ensure people around me don't have heart attacks.

When first issued the system worked great now not so great it doesn't want to scan. It told me to change the sensor and it was only 4 days so changed the sensor then getting the new one to read was almost impossible it finally did but received many notices of error. Rescan and directions on how. Well finally got a reading. Where are these sensors made. And whom wrote or more whom reworked the program. It's a great concept but useless if it's not going to work. I have another Abbott product.

I have all the same complaints found in other reviews. Can only sign in and scan with 1 device. I use the sensor on a pet, meaning whichever phone we scan with we then can't check levels it that person isn't home. Second, The alarm chimes are absolutely ridiculous. Can't change the volume can't even change the chime to something that doesn't make your ears bleed. They went thtu trouble adding ability to silence, but only for 6 hrs and I don't want to turn off, I just want something less annoying

There should be a variation of Alarm sound for Low and High levels. Easy to differentiate. So while driving, you can know the urgency, as in most states, you are pulled over for phone in hand. Low - requires urgency Ignoring could lead to immediate problems. High - you know what you ate earlier and make a decision accordingly. It's not going to cause an immediate emergency.

Recent update works better when time expires. When reminders go off the alert doesn't go on top of notifications and it does not turn off the alert forced to hear the whole entire alert without being able to do anything about it. Notifications are always hidden from the top. I'm unable to point at a point on the chart and see what my numbers are. Still better than the Libra one and I'm still working on getting the Libra 3.

Updating this review a year later. Even with my phone completely silenced and all alarms shut off, I get shrill loud warnings from the app that I cannot turn off. It's especially embarrassing during meetings, and it wakes me up when I'm asleep. I have resorted to reinstalling the app on an unused phone that I turn on only to get readings, then it's turned back off to keep it quiet. This is unacceptable, ALL alarms should be able to be silenced, not just for 6 hours.

The first months were not a good experience, kept having sensor problems. The FreeStyle Libra (Abbott) people were great and kept sending me new sensors. I then started having troubles with my local product supplier and switched to a different supplier. I have no idea what happened but the problems I was having with deliveries, billing, and sensor problems all went away. The last couple of months of usage have been problem free and I really like the FreeStyle Libra 2 system controlled diabetes.

I use the libre link app all the time for my diabetic dog, but got a libre 2 monitor recently. This thing goes off all the time with loud ear piercing beeps. You HAVE to override do not disturb and you can only turn on silent mode for 6 hours at a time. Even if your phone is on vibrate, it will still make noise. I had to disable all notifications from the app, which is not ideal. Terrible design for the app.

Overall, it's helpful to have my blood sugar reading quickly & painlessly available. The app has a few annoying quirks, though. It frequently has "scan errors" that aren't errors: after rescanning, the logbook will show 2, or more, identical readings at the same time. It also will pop up a notification to open the app, complete w/the loud beep, AFTER the app has been opened & the sensor scanned. WHY? It's already opened! That issue startles awake my husband when I do my last reading b4 sleep.

App works well expect for two really big problems... Edit:Interesting that all the detail that I provided disappeared and was replaced by an ellipses. I think you have enough information to know this app which hasn't been updated in the recent past is sub par. It's actually dangerous, random rogue alarms go off in my hearing aids at a dangerous level. The alarms say "alarms are not available". Why don't you start with that. I'm uninstalling this horrible app.

Since an update in late 2023, the ability to silence the alarm on my Android, by swiping it away has not functioned. The only way that I can silence the alarm is by TURNING THE ALARM OFF!! This has caused some issues, when my sugar level drops, and I do not get notified, due to previously turning the alarm off. This problem needs fixing!! The app is not working properly, when you cannot silence the alarm.

UPDATE: The CONSTANT pop up and buzzing after scanning is extremely annoying. I get notifications all the time that are just the app notifying me it exists. I don't need that. I've got to agree with others - without the ability to set the alarms to vibrate, I'm stuck beeping constantly and loudly at work if I have my alarms on. It really needs a vibrate feature, as well the ability to set the volume, and change the alarm sound. In addition, I often scan and an told I have to wait 10 minutes.

Freestyle Libre 1 more reliable. My experience so far. 😐 Had to drop it another star. Alarm constantly going off. Distracting me from driving, and interrupting people around me in public. The alarm is telling me that it cannot connect to sensor, but not telling me any way to correct this, and it never stops!!! I think I will go back to the Libre 1.

6/1/24 Still random beeps, have contacted support. Advised to disable loss of service alarms. Did not correct the problem. Getting woken up in middle of the night or while using other apps is annoying. App used to work well but now just randomly beeps when it wants to. Nothing wrong, nothing in the log just doesn't play well with other apps. I end up force closing which defeats the purpose of it. PLEASE FIX IT, THIS APP IS VITAL TO MONITORING MY GLUCOSE.

App works well most of the time. Love that there's an option to silence alarms for a few hours now (super convenient for meetings and overnight). Lately it's been giving me an error code with EVERY sensor that it has a problem and the sensor needs to be replaced. A few times after that the sensors won't even scan, but this time my brand new (applied 3 hours ago) sensor is still scanning just fine so I don't know if the sensors are bad or it's actually an app issue.

The app is quite nice for actually tracking blood glucose and being able to see trends stretched out over time, as well as the sharing options. However, the notifications are a problem - the Alarms don't seem to work with vibrate on the phone, so when you go silent it just complains that the alarms are unavailable, because it wants you to allow it to override silent mode - FIX THIS, they need to be vibration compatible because silent mode is used for GOOD REASON and I will not allow an override

Doesn't work half the time. Communication between the app and the sensor is always being lost. It seems like I can't get into the Tell us more area so added here. I wish you had an app or expand this one has to be able to import the data from the handheld unit so as to get a continuous data stream and Analysis of the data One thing that I found out about sensors falling off is that if you wipe the area very very thoroughly with alcohol they stay on. I have real oily skin and that was the only

This is the worst version of the app i have ever used. There is no constant real-time feedback in the US app-you must be scanning repeatedly to see an updated number. I have never had even 5 minutes of uninterrupted time without the 'alarms unavailable' warning. The app is constantly disconnecting and causing loud alarm sounds. I can't sleep at all with it. Having to use this app is the worst part of being diabetic, every time I hear this annoying sound, I wish I was never born. Dogshit app.
