More About FTQ Lab
The configuration and available feature set can differ when using the FTQ Lab app. You must be in possession of an activation code in order to complete the registration process. If you don't have an activation code and haven't been instructed to download the FTQ Lab app then you should download the FAIRTIQ app instead.
Furthermore, the activation code configures the app with a tailor-made setup. The configuration depends on the activation code used. It’s possible, for example, to use a FTQ Lab setup where purchasing valid travel tickets is not possible, and you, therefore, would need to purchase a separate ticket to be authorised to travel. Please check the specific terms & conditions and in-app information that are provided for each setup
OVERVIEW
With FTQ Lab, it doesn't matter how many stops you make along the way, or if you change between trains, buses and trams. With FTQ Lab there are no hassles, no complications, just smooth and easy travel!
HOW IT WORKS
The first step of the registration process requires an activation code. This activation code defines the geographical area where you can travel in and the corresponding configuration. Once you have registered, you are ready to travel with the FTQ Lab app!
Shortly before boarding a vehicle, such as a train, bus, tram or boat, simply swipe the "Start" button in the FTQ Lab app. Your final destination does not need to be entered.
Once you have arrived at your destination, swipe the "Stop" button in FTQ Lab. The optimised cost for your trip, if applicable, is then displayed in the app. Should you ever forget to check-out, we will remind you. If there is a ticket inspection, just open the app and click on “View Ticket”.

Does not work on rooted device (LineageOS) — broken. Re Ortung mit root: Das kann doch kein Argument sein, ich kann auch zu spät wischen, das geht einfacher. Wenn es jetzt daran scheitert, dann ist dieses Verfahren "broken as designed" und man braucht eben doch eine Schranken- bzw. Piepserlösung. Re2: Das ist total niedlich. Ein gerootetes Smartphone entspricht dem selbstverständlichen Leistungsumfang eines ganz normalen PC. Ich habe das Recht, Admin auf meinem eigenen Computer zu sein. Gegen die fraglichen Manipulationen sollte sich ein Systembetreiber schützen können, sonst sollte er so ein System besser nicht betreiben. (Ja, das sage ich auch den paar Banken, die diesen Quatsch treiben. Die verbieten mir mein Onlinebanking unter Linux ja auch nicht, nur weil ich da natürlich auch root bin.) --- Fazit nach allen Antworten: Damit bleibt es leider bei einem Stern für eine vorsätzlich nutzlos gemachte Anwendung. Werde mein Urteil gern revidieren, wenn ich sie auch benutzen kann - bis dahin vielen Dank dafür, daß Sie immerhin geantwortet haben!

Es geht mir um Ehrlichkeit und Fairness; nicht um €0,15. WARUM steht dann auf Ihre Webseite "zum günstigsten verfügbaren Preis" wenn es Teuere als der KVB App oder andere Partner Apps ist? Von Wegen "Fair". Neuartig oder nicht - Sie halten die Versprechung auf ihre Webseite NICHT ein. 1. Fahrt €0,15 TEURER als der KVB App. Antwort vom Anbieter: Kurzstrecke in der KVB App ist zwar 1,80 aber der Automatenpreis ist €2,00. Also aus FTQ Sicht habe ich €0.05 gespart. Aus meinen Sicht (als App Nutzer) habe ich €0,15 mehr bezahlt. Edit Das heißt konkret - Sie behaupten was auf ihre Webseite was mindestens eine Ihre Apps nicht abbilden. Ich habe für meinen Teil nicht wahrgenommen dass das Versprechen von der Webseite Ausdrücklich für die Blaue App nicht gilt. Das ist nicht klar genug dargestellt für der Nutzer.

Ende 2020 noch eine App im Store zu haben und aktiv zu bewerben, die im Dark Mode nur sehr erschwert bedienbar ist, ist zumindest mutig. Bitte sagt mir, dass ihr daran arbeitet. Außerdem wichtig zu wissen: Standort der Firma ist in der Schweiz, das heißt, dass neben den Fahrtkosten oftmals zusätzlich eine Gebühr für den Auslandeinsatz der verwendeten Kreditkarte fällig wird. Nicht viel, aber es summiert sich. Es ist unverständlich, warum hier nicht auch andere Zahlungsvarianten zulässig sind.

Bitte Paypal als Zahlungsmittel hinzufügen, ansonsten wirkt die app recht interessant.

Kann meine Zahlung nicht eingeben. Jedes Mal wenn ich den Sicherheitscode von meiner Bank Abrufe um die Zahlung freizuschalten vergisst die app die Session und ich kann die Zahlung nicht abschließen. Unbrauchbar

Ich wurde ausgeloggt und musste die geänderten Nutzungsbedingungen akzeptieren. Diese könnte ich allerdings nicht akzeptieren, da ich dafür eingeloggt sein muss. Einloggen konnte ich mich auch nicht, da ich dazu die Nutzungsbedingungen akzeptieren muss. Tja, dann hab ich die App eben neu installiert. Nun wird mir mein Start-Code nicht mehr akzeptiert, und damit ist mein Vielfahrer-Rabatt futsch. Daher: Gutes Konzept, aber leider schlecht umgesetzt.

the in app navigation is very slow/laggy switching between the menus is also very slow and not responsive

The only purpose of this app is to open it so that immediately right after to close it. Nothing's works, I cannot find a freaking station

I'm no longer able to use the app. On the welcome page, I tap Continue. My phone number flashes up in a popup. I select my phone number. The app closes.

As for a person who is in moving process, this app was EXTREMELY useful and helpful in getting around in Munich via S-Bahn and U-Bahn. I am not sure why it got discontinued, which is shame because for location tracking to calculate at which station user is, this app was extremely accurate, prices also were sort of reasonable to an extent and just the simplicity of flipping a switch and app itself remembering to remind user, this all coagulated into one of the best transport apps ever.
