The app works great on my phone, a Moto G Stylus 2023 5G. No issues with playback or any major bugs. However - and this is why my rating is 3 stars - ever since the most recent update, whenever I rotate my phone to landscape mode to make what I'm watching fullscreen, the 16:9 video stretches to fit the 20:9 aspect ratio of my phone screen, resulting in a stretched image where everyone looks fat. It's very annoying. If it gets fixed or I'm helped fixing it, my review will change to 5 stars

The recent update to the smart TV app is making for a horrible viewing experience. It is so buggy, & the basic features I used to rely on regularly are now more of a nuisance to try to use, like fast forward, rewind, switching between channels/navigating channel lineup, & etc. Live TV schedule doesn't stay updated, so it displays shows that already ended - sometimes hours ago - if you don't manually update it, & that is if the app even responds at all to pressing the "OK" button on the remote.

The only feature I wosh this app had is the ability to "draw over other apps" for android phones. I'd like to be able to check and reply to text messages, emails, etc, while still playing the show I am watching. It doesn’t allow for that, and you have to go restart your show again. 1/26/2024 - did you change this so quickly? Today my app stays open while I'm writing this review, working perfectly!

This is the worst TV streaming app I've ever experienced! No matter what video resolution I chose, the picture was distorted. Fubo will try and blame this on my Internet speed but I've never had this issue before and I've tried almost every streaming app out there. Plus, when you click on the play, or 10 second forward and reverse icons, there's an aggravating, short delay. I tried fast-forwarding through the halftime of a game I recorded and it took way, too long at just 10 seconds a pop.

App frequently fails across multiple platforms. Load times are frequently slow and frequently sporting events will be blocked from viewing live on mobile. That said, it might be your only option to stream a variety of sports. Sort of a take it or leave it situation. If I had an alternative, I would use it. Edit: continued poor performance and crashing multiple times during the Superbowl.

Screen orientation broken, near unusable. Android has a button to allow the screen to rotate or lock it in place. App now ignores this setting and is broken. As I hold the phone and attempt to view a show, the orientation flips back and forth. Unusable unless I place the phone on a table! If I want landscape, I'll allow rotation, turn the phone and lock it again. Other apps honor the button, so it's not my settings - it's the app. I even restarted the phone. Add this test point!

It's expensive and not worth it. It records wrong videos, has less and less sports, tends to cut off the last minute of the game if you are recording. Overall, the app is getting worse. Do not recommend it. Para que llamarse fubo si ni te deja ver todos los deportes, y si los tiene te los corta antes del final. Medio basura de app. El servicio al cliente. 2 estrellas

5/01/24:If you're considering Fubo as a provider, think twice. Fubo eliminated a long list of channels, including many of our favorite channels like Motor Trend, HGTV, the Discovery channels, & many others. SUCKS! Of course, Fubo won't reduce their monthly rate even though there are so many channels missing now. And I get charged $13.99 for a regional sports fee, but I don't watch any sports! I'm switching to Hulu+ w/Live TV, & Disney+ for $12 less, PLUS I'm getting back all my missing channels!

The app leaves quite a bit to be desired. The actual service started off good, but they're just removing channels and upping the price now. IP address issues with local channels, sound will just go out in the middle of a show, etc. This isn't worth $125 a month. Similar if not better services out there for less money.

I had to report Fubo for fraud to my credit card company in order to get a refund for the ~$500 that they charged me and refused to refund after I tried the 7 day "free trial" for less than 48 hours and cancelled on the second day. I tried contacting them multiple times and escalated to the manager as high up as it would go. Truly a waste of time and difficult to get my funds back. I would not do business with Fubo, and instead opt for YouTube TV, Sling TV, Hulu, or any other option.

This app is EXTREMELY BUGGY with continuous problems. I'm watching on a Samsung 65" Q80 with over 500mbps WiFi. I have 4 other apps(Disy, Max, Netfl, Disc+) this is the only app that constantly stops, buffers, loads slow and then locks up and I end up watching another app. I've deleted it, reinstalled, cleared cache, nothing helps. The DVR service is top notch, but you can't watch what you have actually recorded. I'm paying 127.00 a month for a service I can't always use. NOT WORTH IT

When I turn on my TVs in the morning (or whenever) and go to my favorites, the app won't allow me to start watching a live newscast until I (1) select the program (2) move to another program and select that, the (3) close that program and go to my original/preferred program and select it for a second time which comes up with the current newscast, not the one from the previous day. I've been doing this for months and called for help but the help didn't work the very next day. It sucks.

By far the worst tv app I've used. Signed up to watch the Mariners this season and the app makes it very difficult. It has a record feature that, basically, does not work. If you try to watch a recorded event and touch any function, you get the circling loading symbol for ten or fifteen minutes. I'm not kidding. Also watching a recorded game an hour behind live, it randomly jumps to the live scene. The controls are V E R Y S L O W.

I constantly have to set my home network as home. And, even though I have Unlimited data, Fubo frequently will tell me "can't connect to WiFi. Try again later", while other apps are working via my unlimited data. Frustrating to pay so dearly for an app and not be able to use. Also, price has gone from $40, $50, $60 to a sky rocking $90!! If it increases again, I'm out! Especially, since it no longer will allow me to watch ESPN, which I could watch until THIS football season!

Downloaded and set up a free trial because I was curious and wanted to watch SEC network on my phone. Continued to receive an error message saying my video setup was not permitted. Digging into it a little further on Fubo's website it says that that happens with certain channels on Android mobile devices. Extremely misleading and frustrating. Trying to watch on a Note 20

I subscribed FuboTv for especially football and basketball games but dang the way the channels keep freezing I might end up just giving up. Please management look into this issue before it's too late. Edit..5/15/24 and this app is only getting worse and fkng frustrating. It freezes, stops, does everything annoying. I'm done. FUBo if you weren't ready for the traffic, i have no words for you.

Videos do not play properly. This app is unusable. The last frame of whatever ad they show stays on screen permanently, you can hear the audio of your video, but have no visuals. Can't even watch in my browser, it forces me back into the app. Trying to troubleshot this is very fun and cool because every time you reopen a video you are served another five full minutes of ads. $100+ a month. Absolutely insane.

This app is unstable to the point it's almost unusable. Any time we try to watch TV we get the circle loading screen of death after a few minutes. This is with 1 gig internet. I've hardwired the TV and used wifi, it makes no difference. No other streaming service we have has any loading issues. The user interface is terrible too. If you go to the guide, it closes you out of your show instead of going into a picture in picture mode. It's only positive is that it is $30 cheaper than the others.

Well another update for this App and the trend toward mediocrity continues. The menu moved from the top to the left side and changed from words to icons, so now you have to guess at which icon might be where you want to go. The sideways scrolling changed so it is worse. After you watch part of a show, fall asleep, and want to start over, they took away the "Play from Start" choice. They take channels away, but do not reduce the price. What happened to wanting to make it better?

This app used to be great. After the last couple updates it is horrible. They took away so many play options and it's completely unstable on the phone now. If your watching "my stuff" and you want to switch to channels you have to reboot the app. You can no longer play from start which I really miss. The developers really missed the mark on the last few updates. Just admit that you made mistakes and restore this app to it's greatness.
