So much potential, but let down by bugs: could not sign-in to Facebook. Could not load videos. I was impressed by the photo viewer. Later (July 2022): I now have a Pixel 5 phone, and Fulldive is smooth and fast on it. There's only one major issue: buffering during YouTube video playback. Having been scared witless by watching a video where a lion the size of a block of flats was standing above me, I found it more unnerving to have the huge lion freeze for 30 seconds while the player buffered.

It drifted so much in 5 minutes that I couldn't turn my head far enough to the right to get the cursor to the controls. How about giving the user a way to reset the drifting, like a re-center button that's always available? I had to pull the phone out of the headset and shut the app down. Then, every time I tried re-start it after that, Android immediately reported that it stopped. Just bad. I'm uninstalling this.

Finally got a phone with a gyroscope! Ot would be nice if you could add a gyro calibrator, as my gyroscope appears to be slightly dragging to the left (which obviously isn't your fault), but if there was a way to make the app ignire that slight drag by having in-app calibration, the app would then be able to ignore the hardware issue. Calibration would most likely require movement and sitting still. Thanks for reading!

This app works exactly as described, but in my case, there's just one major issue. The view is constantly drifting very slowly to the left. I have tried absolutely every fix I could find, including reinstalling the app, and I even checked all my device's sensors. I'm using a Samsung Galaxy J7 Prime.

Good for what it is but not the best when it comes to configuring the viewing experience. They should consider adding options that allow the user to configure how the vr is displayed. As in moving each eye independently so that the user can easily fix any issues that may come up with their particular phone.

okay, there's a lot I like and a lot i dont like. this app makes searching for videos very easy. much easier than the you tube app for VR so i dont have to take the headset off to find another video. it has a lock feature that keeps the video in place so i dont have to consistently recenter it. and the HUD option which allows you to see through the phone camera is amazing. i hate how small the video is though, and that i cant sync a YouTube account with it.

The only issue I have with the app is when trying to watch Netflix through the browser. I can't watch Netflix VR on my device considering I have a third party headset and Google has a stranglehold on compatibility for the app. Therefore, Fulldive is my only other option. I can access the Netflix web browser site, and sign in fine but when going to watch a title, I'm prompted to install Microsoft Silverlight because Netflix thinks I'm on PC. That's the only thing keeping this from being 5 stars.

*EDIT*Developer is highly responsive and addressed my concerns with an explanation, honesty, and what they will correct. Its impressive u built it back in 64bit in time with just a few missing functions and no bugs in the release (afai seen)Its 100% stable on my S5 and stability>features imo. You prevented any interruption ultimately so thanks! its refreshing to get a real explanation, i dont usually care enough to edit *'s but 3 for the response and 2 more when the 'fixes' are released

I don't know what I'm supposed to do. All I see is a logo in my VR headset. My capacitive button doesn't do anything (unlike other VR apps) and there don't appear to be any settings or anything I can look at or activate. This is on a Pixel 2. Also I tried another of your apps and it too does the same thing, shows a logo that can't be interacted with and nothing else.

A bit cheap in some regards but does the job of giving a decent "VR" experience with movies on your phone. Don't expect anything too fancy and make sure if you don't have the full screen function for the app on in your device's settings then put it on, otherwise your image will be off since you can't really make up for it in most "VR" phone holder rigs. The app can be slow at times and the picture quality isn't the greatest. I applaud the amount of setting and I hope they make the menus better.

Edit: Most features have been added back, but nsvisgtion is terrible. Refuses to let me use my remote in daydream and forces me to look at buttons instead of using the remote. Borderline unusable still. New update removed most of the reason I used this app, including the photo gallery. Pretty much no point having it now. Not sure why you would switch to a new platform if it wasn't developed enough to have the same features as the old platform

This app homestly shocked me, I didn't expect it to be anywhere near this level of good. I do, however have some suggestions and features that I would like to suggest, and a bug or two to report. I think it would be really nice to have the ability to view text messages and see the time. And about the bugs, the internet explorer seems to be oriented incorrectly (it is sideways). Also, and this may be a hardware issue on my end, but the app will rotate clockwise, I can email you with more info.

Needs work. The screen is very funny. And not Ha-Ha funny.you constantly need to turn your head far left or far right in order to drag the screen back to center the little dog to make selections is interesting but it's a constant pain in the butt on selecting things when you are trying to look at the screen straight on. I have tried to use this app since I own an S3 and I currently own a note 9. I don't see any improvement over its use.

This app is like no other VR app! Not only do you have access to the entire internet, there is no need for a controller or to use touch screen controls! You can simply use directional control by looking at what you want to select. Its convenient because it allows a fully immersive experience, letting you stay in the VR World for hours on end. Amazing app!

Couldn't watch a single video. So I was trying to watch a video of The game: Team Fortress 2, and whenever I tried to watch it, it would play 2 seconds of it fine, audio and all, then freeze, says it can't run the video, then downgrades the quality, tries again, diwngrades quality, then says it can't play it, and then the video stops, and everything runs at 1fps. I would like Xbox crontroller support, as thats what im using, so i can type faster and use the options with it. I think its okay

It's so good!! There's just one issue I have that I would love for you guys to fix. Whenever I'm in an app, in this case I was in your roller coaster app, whenever I turn my head to look around, it brings me back to the home screen. I understand how it would be useful to only have to tilt your head and go back to the home page, but this needs to be a feature I can turn off. Other than that I have no problems, keep it up! EDIT: What I previously said is an understatement. The tilt to go back to the menu feature completely ruins the functionality of the app. Whenever I'm playing a game and really getting into it, I'll tilt my head just a little to look at something and BAM I'm back in the menu. It's super annoying. Pleeeeeaaaaasse fix it, or provide some way to turn it off

edit 2023: cant watch files on local storage at all now? Downloaded "fulldive X" instead, constantly crashes when trying to load files. Still cant zoom the video in, stuck in the back of the theatre still 4 years later lol. sad PLEASE FIX: [...]watch movies during a flight. [..] so feature rich, going great places. i would like more zoom control on the videos and photos- when im on my Oculus i like to be very close to the video. im sure you guys will figure it out and ace it. 5 stars

Absolutely useless. Don't know what's going on with this apps development, since last I used it, it was near flawless. I was able to browse content without a controller or clicker thanks to the auto-click feature and videos loaded right away with no issues. But, now it's absolute trash. Can't change video quality, because the video orientation gets messed up and it freezes, only plays audio. Completely useless.

This got me really excited, then I realized I have no use for it. Love the interface! Just looking to click on something is great! However, the selection of things to look at is very lacking. Browser is completely useless, can't click on anything other than the address bar. App description says "all youtube" there is no search function when you click on YouTube, just pages to scroll through, and I couldn't find anything I wanted to watch. "Dive" search returned no results for everything I tried.

So this app finally got some of the UI right; at least it's pretty impressive in it's integration with Daydream. Still a little buggy, it actually even says it's not compatible with Daydream, but it is and that's even one of the 2 options when I start it. Regardless, the app had made great strides in the past few years, going from a 1 start app that was almost pointless to a 4+ star app that is pretty darn good in the VR space. Many features, including the ability to load files on your device (it had this before but was rendered useless for quite awhile for to other issues). Definitely room for improvement, but what it has it does well with.
