The map feature on this app barely works. It doesn't care about your filters (will show you multiple places past your move in date, places that don't allow pets, etc) and constantly resets and zooms out. Sometimes you click the numbers and it shows nothing. Sometimes you click on a house and every thing you click afterwards is that same house. Just incredibly frustrating to use if you're looking based on location and no way to sort houses based on what's closest to the location you picked.

Why dont they give you some type of actual address anywhere? Also on the website and app, no link to satellite or street view map. Otherwise I may actually be able to find a place on this app. Also if you apply a filter click a place the go back to map, it removes the filter. If you pan in the map it unloads some results but reloads the same results as you pan back, so it's constantly lagging somewhere, maybe just don't unload them? Really slow.

App is a little buggy. Freezes. Resets alot and changes your criteria. Also annoying when you click on a listing to view details-hitting back resets any filters you set for your search and you have to redo everything and start all the way over. Also doesn't always let you click on the dots on the map to see what the listing is. It's a frustrating app but I have found rentals. I've found lots of people not honoring what they listed - bait and switch. But overall good

the idea behind the app is amazing, but since downloading I've had a couple of issues. 1.) Even when I put in my move-in date and open the map to see places within a specific area, it will list rentals that aren't available until months after the move-in date I put. 2.) the app crashes continually? I'll be looking on the map or at rentals in the list before looking at the map and it'll freeze up when I click on one, I have to close the app and go back in to look. Happens VERY often

There is a lot of room for improvement in the FF app. We have used it much more with a new place we have and all has gone well with the guests but this app is not good. I'd like to review the guests that just left, but when I click on review - my only choice is to review the app. This is probably why so few places have reviews. We also have some units on Airbnb that are rented constantly and that app is wildly more user friendly. It's also very difficult to keep a calendar up to date. Grade: C-

From what I can tell there's an update to the app that is causing it to malfunction. It no longer even has the same icon for the app. It seems to go to a website versus the app when using it. And all the information doesn't show when you try to submit a message to a potential client. This didn't used to happen, so I'm hoping it's a temporary problem. But I can't get any customer service to help it at this time.

After the update, prices are wrong, and the screen jumps. Before you could swipe left and right on the pictures from the search instead of opening the ad, now you have to open it. It looks more professional, but it's not practical if it does not work correctly.

haven't received a qualified lead in months. i wanted to manage my membership (cancel my forced auto renewal) but couldn't find the necessary drop down menu to do so despite instructions from the "customer service". app is not user friendly but designed to prevent user from canceling membership. this outfit is a scam.

This app would be absolutely fabulous.... If the search engine worked!!!!! What is the point of filters if the site ignores them and adds options you can't afford .. or that ARENT EVEN AVAILABLE!!! 🤦🏼♀️ SO frustrating! You just have to do the work for the engine... Then you wonder if it's adding listings... is it leaving them off as well!? Fix the search engine PLEASE!!!!

Love the idea, don't know where I'd find month to month rentals for me/ travel nurse without it, but almost gave it a 3/5. The app messes up constantly. In map view, it randomly reverts to showing me all listing's vs my search criteria; half the time when I click on the dollar amount it does nothing. Shows numerous listings way past my move-in date - why!? When I review messages I've sent, there is no way of knowing whose listing is whose unless I know the listing number, i.e. there is no link.

The mobile app is very helpful to have since I do all of my hosting on furnished finder using my Android phone. However, the new updated version has some glitches, it keeps saying something is wrong when I search for a city and state, then go back to put in a few filters like utilities included and free parking. In my opinion there are still some bugs to work out with this new version.

I like Furnished Finder, but the app can be a bit frustrating sometimes. Every time you minimize it, even just for a second, you have to go back to the home screen. It can be very slow to load. I wish there were more ways to filter, like 'only show available listings'. It would also be great to sort your search, like by distance from a certain location or by price. One thing that is better on the app than on the website, is that you can open the listing location on Google maps.

This app is so frustrating. The filters don't work. You plug in a price and an accommodation type and it still shows everything outside of your filters. Furthermore, it doesn't have an available now feature in the filters, not that it would work if they did, but for convenience purposes that would help greatly. App is also buggy. Sometimes the map view won't show the listing's. It just shows another picture of the price. I hope that they can fix these things and make it better

I don't like the new version of the app, things that you could normally just do in the previous app now directs you to a web page where the display is not user friendly. it also has my listing with the dollar amounts using the wrong decimal points. so my $1,700 a month rental displays as $170,000 a month. same goes for the deposits and pet fees.

So I have to send myself a "magic link" every time I want to open the app now? I've used FF as both a host and a tenant and honestly is consistently one of the worst apps and experiences, yet they keep raising their prices. I'm one magic link away from cancelling everything. Every other app I can sign in with biometrics. This app and site look like they were built in the 90s.

Website user interface (landlord) is antiquated. Membership is almost now $200 yearly and has NEVER helped me secure a tenant. When I started with Furnished finder it was only $99 a year. App doesn't let you update your calendar without clicking through all the other pages of questions first. App automatically logs you in as a renter (default) and then you have to jump through more hoops to log in as a landlord. App doesn't allow you to filter out tenants (women only or men only).

I loved the original version of this app, but as a property manager and travel nurse, this is a horrible update! Getting to see leads is much more of a hassle and so are the messages. Also, the increase in cost per year is insane as it strictly covers the platform and nothing else. To make leases, transfer money, etc all comes at another cost.

Finally!!! The app has been updated. I love the new look but I would love to be able to adjust distance settings (I work in Boston and I don't want to see homes in Rhode Island). Also, please bring back the "private bathroom" amenities. I refuse to share a bathroom. Again, I'm glad there has been some improvements to the app and I can search in peace without the glitches.

6/21/23 - The messaging feature capitalizes ALL words. It's very annoying. Update 4/3/25 - The app doesn't work at all anymore. Anything you click just links you to the browser. There is no reason at to have the app on your phone. Also, I'm considering getting rid of this service entirely. Most likely will not renew. There's no where near as activity as there used to be and a random fake review showed up on my profile and it's not being removed in a timely manner.

would be nice if home owners were more accountable as far as accurate listings and available dates. It would also be nice if the search filter was more accurate. I will filter something out of my search and it still comes up.. it would also be nice if I could save a search. I'm actively looking for a place, its extremely annoying to have to go and put in the location and filters every single time. and lastly should have a feature where we can choose how many miles from the location we are ok w
