False advertising- not a free app. To clarify, app download is free but actual content is behind a paywall. There are no free features as the developer describes, just a short free trial of the paid version. Just be upfront that there is no way to use this app in the longterm without paying.

Terrible. I'll start with the positive. The face mash thing is actually pretty good. Now why it got 1 star. There are far better, cheaper apps for making GIFs. I installed, used it 3 times, went to bed and next day it wants $5 a month or it refuses to do anything. Way too expensive for barely any features.

There is a paywall in which you need to provide a means of payment just to use this app. The developers are liars and I will never use this app again. I will not set up a payment option just for a "free" trial that is absolutely stupid. And to pay just to edit your own files on your device is a RIP OFF.

Having to pay for an app to make a gif out of a video from my phone is ridiculous. I can do it from my computer for free with just an extra couple of steps. Uninstalled immediately.

Listed as a gif editor app, makes you pay to access any gif editing features. It's a clown of an app and the company should be ashamed of themselves.

So far easier than the last 2 apps I teied. Edit. I gave it another ster for the shear simplicity of the app. I am still looking through it, so I may be wrong, but I haven't found a tool to put captions in different frames to tell a story. If that makes sense. Not a deal breaker, but it would be nice.

It's a waste of time and internet. 99% of the features are behind the paywall and you can't edit gifs without paying. I don't recommend if you have limited internet. Another money hungry app, the first thing you see is a payment request, truly disappointing.

Apparently you can't even simply edit a GIF without paying. Ridiculous. Some other features seem to be available but not simple editing, which is the first thing I tried. This is ridiculous. There are better FREE apps to work with gifs than this hot garbage. Really, this type of pay before play app nonsense needs to stop. Waste of time. Find another app. Uninstalled... 🤬🤬🤬

It's great and simple, I made like 3 gifs with it and it completely blocked me from using because of the subscription. I'd be willing to do a 1 time purchase at an appropriate cost since it works well, but it's really nothing special beyond simple videos, so I don't understand why It should be sold bi-yearly. Honestly for this kind of app, it really makes no sense to have subscription based purchase unless you're counting on people to forget about it to continue to collect from them unknowingly.

Simple to use. Does exactly what it's intended to & (so far) no problems with performance. Being able to adjust length & image quality of GIFs from videos used is a huge positive. I've used some editors that will compress video to a pixilated mess. 02/04/2023 update. Now unable to do anything without being forced into a monthly subscription just to stop advertising that wasn't intrusive or making using this app any less enjoyable. Devs, you asked for a 5 star rating now it's dropped more. 👎

This isn't free, this is a paid app that offers a 3 day free trial. Just make it cost money instead of lying about what your app is. Edit: They're aware of how scummy this is, as they respond to every one star review the same way, and obviously do not read the reviews, as their response mentions exactly what I'm complaining about.

Adds... and begging for money Response to brain craft limited. Why would I want to watch some annoying videos to make a gif? Why would I want to oay money to make a gif? A GIF!! It's just a small clip from a video I have. No thanks! I found another app that's free.

You can't change the photos added when you make them already, and apparently I have only 3 credits per day (aka 3 chance to make a gif individually), and to have the ability to create it you need to watch an ad for each credit for creating each gif you want to make

Easy to use. Looking further on developer prompt: - it has a very impressive array of tools, so it's obviously very useful. - the paid for, full version is very expensive as apps go. It's probably worth it if you have those needs and extreme wealth. - video to gif: edit videos together first. They have to be on your phone's file system, not just Google Drive. MP4 25 MB to gif 59 MB; compression is paid for.

Pretty good, overall 👍🏻 I don't recall having run into any paywall, at least not yet anyway, so that's obvs a really great start. Seems to be missing some fairly basic functionality, however, the most glaring of which would be the ability to break a gif down into its individual images. That and whatever else I couldn't put my finger on aside, the app itself runs nice n smooth and looks pretty pretty, too. 😁

The trim feature is broken. If not, and it's working as intended then it's awful. It selects the first 6 seconds and won't let you choose from any other section (for example I want the last 5 seconds but it's not possible.) I end up having to trim the video on my phone app or capcut. I don't wanna use multiple apps to make ONE short gif. 💀 I'm on a Pixel 7 Pro. Will not be buying the upgrade because of this.
