Received a gift card but can't access it because it keeps saying error. So I downloaded the app thinking it would be easier to retrieve but then it just keeps saying sms delivery fail when I try to verify the code it sends me.

Never received anything. Lots of talk from the chat and phone, but, Show Me the Money, didn't happen. Very disappointed.

App kept timing out during payment process. Hold authorizations on Paypal and bank pend while no gift cards have processed. Afraid to try again (in case they're still trying to process)......I will have bought 4- $100 gift cards vs 1. Ugh! Switched over to GIFTLY and bought within seconds with no issue.

worst experience with an online purchase ever!!! please do not use giftya its a scam And you can not get your money back. If you send someone a giftya, then they have to put in their credit card info to use it! I don't even have a credit card so my gift is void! On top of that I have to pay a charge to regift it and I don't have the money. And DO NOT GO FOR THE SUPPORT@GIFTYA they refer you to. It's just another rabbit hole. Uuuur, so 😠😡🤬👿angry

This is the dumbest idea in an app. All it does is takes funds from someone sending you a gift and transfers it to your credit card with much confusion and complicated steps. Have your friend Zelle you the funds and spend them as you wish. With Giftya you have to use your own credit card to pay attention the merchant the gift was sent from. Giftya reimburses your credit card for the amount of money that you spent until you've used the gift amount. Meaning I have to spend $75 @ GrubHub.

Took down my first critical review so I'll post again. They did not reimburse me after my purchases were made (I received a $100 Doordash gift) and their customer service site just endlessly loads. When you try to call the number it redirects you to the site. I've never had a dev respond by taking down a review, truly incredible. Do not use this service.

Listen, I was TERRIFIED to download an app like this, thinking it would be a scam, but so far I've bought 2 gift cards, and they all have worked just fine, no issues. I was confused as to how to use it AT FIRST, but learned how to use it. I love giftya! I'll definitely be coming back for MORE gift cards!

Linked my bank account. Then lost access to account. Try to retrieve access. Never receive code after multiple attempts. Really garbage all around. Installed app. Says "need older version of Android to continue". What a terrible system all around.

They honestly need to rethink this idea or rework the app. You don't just get a gift card. They make you link the gift card to your debit/credit card then basically make you buy something at the respective store and then reimburse you afterwards. Seems super sketchy that the person receiving a gift card has to input card info. There's an option to "redeem in a different way" but THE LINK DOES NOT WORK.

I received a GiftYa card. Initially had problems using it. Russell the director reached out and took care of the issue. He was kind, prompt and very helpful. I changed my review from a 1 star to a 5 star. If you are having issues, keep reaching out. I haven't used the credit yet but not expecting any problems. Thank you Russell & Giftya.

This app is a complete scam. My mother sent me a visa for my birthday thinking it was digital. I had to physically get it shipped to my house then the balance on said card happened to "mysteriously vanish" as all the real non bot reviewers had stated. Speaking of which do not trust any of the positive reviews on here. Positive ratings are misleading and the technical support is nonexistant. Long story short this company is trash and a lawsuit needs to come their way.

The option to link my credit card to receive the money isn't even an option. It's very frustrating. Numerous people besides myself have tried to make it work to no avail. We contacted support 2 days ago and nothing. What a waste. Update-2 support answered. Both skimmed my request and gave pre-written answers that didn't pertain to my need. There's no one to speak to other than email. I was given $150 as a gift to celebrate my birthday. It's been a week and I can't access the money. Beware!

There's no way to add a card without adding all of your bank info. And after adding all my bank info I was told my bank wasn't accepted. When I tried to get help the web page I was sent by them would not load. And then I tried going to the support page on my own, but the website just crashes. And the text to log in doesn't hardly ever work. I got the help I needed and got a gift card without the fee taken off. So I'm thankful for that.

I take issue with it appearing to be so simple to use when in fact it's not. You have to link your card, then they want your full address, then they charge you a fee to send. The only reason why I chose this app is because I liked the thought of sending a gift card via text, as opposed to asking people for their email addresses to send gift cards like other retailers. Now since I've had to go through so many steps, I'll just use the regular retailers and ask my people in advance for their email.

Never received my credit for purchases made even though I followed all the instructions and jumped through all their ridiculous hoops correctly. Three days later when I asked for help they just refunded the entire giftcard amount to my debit card. No idea if the scheme actually works or not. I'm glad I got my money back, but will never ever use giftya again, and am uninstalling the app. It only made a stressful situation so much worse.

Yea the apps cool cause you pay the bare minimum for the cards but if you buy a visa first all it's non refundable, second of all unless you wanna wait a week for that visa card that you don't have to pay any fees on you could use zelle but guess what their gonna take a chunk out of the card for processing fees. Bought a 10 dollar card for 12 bucks was only able to get 6 sent to my zelle! Not worth it in my opinion and it is not instant like they say

Terrible Experience. So a month ago I did this. I really felt that when I was trying to buy a gift card for a certain merchant. I was hijacked by this application because I have no idea who it was and since then I have not been able to find the gift card I bought nor have been able to redeem it. I watched the videos. I contacted them. All to no avail. Believe me if you go to buy a gift card from a merchant in this application pops up close it out and run away as fast as you can.

Terrible experience with using this company. My girl friend needed to get an Uber and for some reason uber wouldn't accept my bank card so I sent her credit for iber with giftya only that's not what it was at all it was very deceptive in that in order for her to use the credit she has to spend it out of her own money on her paypal and then they would reimburse her. It was supposed to be credit to uber so she could pay for the ride not pay for the ride and then reimburse her 3 days later
