This app keeps going from bad to worse, now they changed the categories limiting the pool of people that can apply to the gig.

Workers don't show up, Gigsmart doesn't contact me to let me know anything. When I call no one answers the phone therefore I've been left high and dry with no explanation. Alot of individuals who don't want to work are signed up.

Just a glorified Craigslist. They overcharge for what you can post on Craigslist for $7. They don't take credit cards, so don't try and add it to your account because they literally will remove your access to the platform without hesitation. Poor way to run a business or growing model, in my opinion.

Incredibly easy to find workers and request them for gigs. Use it for my business as well as help around the house. Was shocked how many workers showed up with skills I needed and then paying them through the app was super convenient. Found out I didn't have to issue a 1099 to worker because paying with credit card was an awesome surprise as well. Highly recommend if you need a new way to find workers.

There's a learning curve, but I think once I learn the nuances it will be very useful. August 2023 update - some enhancements have been made, and I had no trouble at all using the app for a project. Except! I think a step-by-step tutorial is necessary. I would get a text prompting me to do something, but that something was impossible to do until a certain amount of time before the job started.
