(Loudness value will not be saved when the app is closed.)
In portrait mode: Swipe vertically.
In landscape mode: Swipe horizontally
(*5) Multi-window mode is available for Android 7 and above. When using with apps that do not allow background playback, it is convenient to use two apps side by side.
Special features from Android 9 and above:
- Change the number of bands (Android 9 : 5 or 7 bands, Android 10 and above : 5, 7, 11 bands)
- Separate presets for pre-equalizer and post-equalizer (28 types + 1 custom)
- Compressor
- Limiter
This equalizer application will not work if you start it when other equalizers are running.
You need to follow the steps below to start it.
1. completely stop both GlycoV app and other equalizer apps.
1.1 In the case of an app that cannot be terminated from the notification (There are some apps that do not send notification)
Press and hold the app icon and select "Force Stop" in the "App Info" screen.
2. Launch GlycoV application.
====== For users with Android 9 and above ======
On Android 9 or higher, you can enjoy music with the best sound by adjusting the Compressor.
The effector consists of Pre EQ --> Compressor --> Post EQ --> Limiter in that order. To make it easy to change the Pre EQ when adjusting the Compressor, the Pre EQ can also be changed in the Compressor.
1. How to easily increase the bass using the Compressor (first try using 62Hz or 63Hz, which are easy to hear)
- Lower the value of Pre Gain.
- Increase the value of Post Gain.
- Lower the Ratio value slightly.
- Raise the Threshold a little.
(First, move the Seek Bar of these four parameters slowly to the left and right to feel the change in sound. 2.)
2. an example of the procedure for adjusting Post EQ at the end is shown below. (This is just an example and not necessarily the best way to do it.)
Step 1: Set the Post EQ preset to FLAT.
Step 2: Set all Compressor and Limiter presets to Default. (Don't set In Gain and Out Gain too high, just set them to about 0.
Step 3. change Pre EQ, Pre Gain, and Post Gain to your favorite values for each frequency. Adjust the Ratio and Threshold as necessary.
Step 4. increase the volume to the desired level with Out Gain. If necessary, adjust the In Gain.
Step 5. finally, adjust Post EQ if necessary.
If you use Android 9 or later, you may not want to use Bass Boost and Loudness as much as possible.

Notes.
To exit the app completely, you need to exit from the notification.
Loudness, In Gain, and Out Gain values will not be saved after exiting the app.
Extreme settings may cause sound crack. Please enjoy this app with moderate settings and volume at your own risk.

Honestly, the best app I found for customising your music experience. I have tried most of the eq apps the play store has to offer, and this one is by far the best out there.

(Updated experience) even though it's User friendly, sounds good, looks good.. it doesn't stay active while playing music or stopping and restarting music after a little while.

This app is perfect for my LG-LK72. It sounds like hi-fi speaker. π―ππ However, if I open other apps (like online shopping app), GlycoV keeps on stop running. π€ I have to reopen it again and again. Is it memory-hug application?

You guys don't revert to factory settings for sound quality you code gracefully I like combining default audio with Bass with post and pre equalizer it's the only app I've ever found that actually works it's got real equalizer effects not the same ones off your phone that's all these other guys do

This equalizer helps remove the "muddiness" or booming of lower frequencies. I try to dig out the rattle of the jazz bass strings. When I can clearly hear that, I know I'm getting the best low end sounds.

This is the best app I have ever tested. The vocals are natural and clear - the bass is strong and heavy without overwhelming other spectrums of the music. Really, a great app!

DUDE!!!!!!.... I've tried like around 30 of these eq's in last 2 years. This APP! This eq is by far the top of the line. Flat out awesome. I actually took the time me for this here rating status. If for some reason someone out there thinks this app stinks? It's actually your busted phone, the one with all the bandaids on it. Get a new phone, cause yours probably has a pull start on it. βοΈ

One of the best EQ Apps paid or free! Most, if not all the EQ Apps have one band at 60hz & 120hz thereabouts which is pretty limited and hard to really sculpt the Sub-Bass & Mid-Bass! This app has 4 bands below 120hz which makes it incredibly more capable to sculpt the enire-ish bass frequencies Pretty much like a real Neve or SSL Deskπ Don't get me wrong I'm not saying this app will process audio like a Neve 1073 or SSL Brown Knob EQ BUT it ain't far off & for an android phone is plenty good

I was looking for a good eq that had more eq bands and this has it. Only tested little while with me speaker but seems good will use this more. Others were either not many bands or not work with all apps on phone.

I've been using this app for quite some time now and it's awesome. My LG-LK72 2.1 speaker sounds like hi-fi because of this app. I love the 18 band equalizer. You can hear every detail of music, every frequency from deep bass low frequency, to mid frequency, to high frequency. Superb! πππ―

This is the best equalizer / booster that's out there. I've tried many many many many many and this one just totally blows away all of them , even ones that you have to pay for. what they give you here is unbelievably awesome. if you can't hear your sounds and you need to Pump It Up, try this app if you can't feel it, try this app you won't regret it. I didn't. I just regret all the other ones I had to try before I got to this awesome app....

WOW! This is definitely the best EQ in the play store period!!! I'm absolutely amazed how many different options there are to tweak your headphones with. Also the fact that there are different EQ configurations to work with. You have definitely given my ie800's a breath of fresh air. This app really shows off their potential. Thank You so much. The app works fine but disconnects after use and mutes the volume once disconnected. We have to play with the on/off button of the app to restore and attach the equalizer thereafter. Is there any problem with the app or bug causing this? Thank you

This app is truly a 10 out of 10 I've never heard such quality and the bass is really clear. Actually clearer and cleaner than any other app so much customizable I didn't know that 30hz could be heard on such tiny speakers untill now this app brings sound of little speakers to a next level and not even that the out gains are very good and don't distort I don't know who came up with such an idea but this is just nearly perfect. Best on the market for sure really easy to use too!!

Very clear & good bass, Lots of options, u gotta know your stuff with this app, compressor and all U gotta tweek it to your liking and play with all the options it gives u. Works good, it's different, but good,& gives u lots of options. Sound is very good in comparison to alot of equalizer apps I've tried & this is one does stand out... I like the fact that you can always set everything back to default & try to find that perfect balance & sound u like. ' LG velvet 5G' π

I had this app on my moto g play and all the sliders worked, and now I have a Samsung galaxy ao3s two sliders don't have any effect on the sound...it's the 40 slider on the pre and post eq..why is this happening and what can I do to fix this issue? Please let me know, as this is my favorite eq app on playstore and would love to continue using. Thanks!

β’ Exceeds my expectations. β’ I've yet to experience a crash. β’ lnterfaces well with my current downloaded volume booster. lt's a very well-designed app. The equalizer is intensely versatile and adjustable for various sound effects ( it's very much like a miniature producers board.) lt's the best equalizer app I've encountered so far - I'm rather quite content with it.

Not only can I see a difference, I can definitely hear a difference as well. The app. Isn't being shut down with or without their permission. There's a easy transition between the EQ and my music. I enjoy more channels but 18 is plenty if they come without problems. The sometimes subjective nature of sound can be navigated with less if parameters are non and works along with scopes that can show exactly what you are hearing and can be measured. Never loss ur subjective hearing, just back it up!
