for as big and the amount of customers GM financial has this app is very low quality and laggy, it doesn't just go for the app all of the applications and websites from this company always seem to be slow and always has me thinking my phone is not working properly or in terms of the GM financial app or website it tends to show the wrong information like the amount due. please do better General Moters then maybe yall will be able to stop closing manufacturing plants and laying off employees

This app makes it impossible to make a payment. It doesn't let us switch to our other vehicles to pay. This has been going on for months. Fix it! We pay too much money for these vehicles to have an app that doesn't work. I don't want to talk to someone, I want the app to be fixed.

There is an apparent bug when the Android app tries to pull a stored PW from the Google PW manager. Instead of pulling the PW, the app pulls the Email address again and auto fills the email into the PW and username fields. Tried deleting app, cleaning all app cache and memory, re-installing app. Hopefully they get this fixed soon as it appears to be a simple programming issue. Build 4.11.7110

this has resolved. Quick response by the team. For almost a month as soon as you log in there is a red box stating unexpected error before any activity or tasks are completed. Unable to make a payment via the app.

Log in is always a struggle Anymore. The biometric log in is broken, I get an error every time. It's been broken for months and it doesn't seem like you are even interested in fixing it. Once I'm in paying my payment is actually easy, that's why I gave 3 stars instead of less

an app full of errors. 2 months ago I set up auto pay only to receive a letter today that I have 750$ of no payments. when I go to set it up again it gave me a dam error that something went wrong and to try again later. Thanks devs now my credit is screwed!

the app does not fit on the screen on my Android phone. I've tried to go to Play Store and reinstall, I've tried to adjust the size of my screen, I've even tried to delete apps to make it fit. nothing seems to work. can't see the bottom of the app to log out.

Glitches every single time! Logging in it won't ever auto fill correctly from password manager, the biometric feature will work once and then also stop working and copy paste my password also results in an error message. This happens every time I want to just the app. Accessing online gets you into your account but that's cumbersome and shouldn't be the case with a simple app meant to take your payments!

This app was great until their last update. To sum up, I'm paying off two vehicles; a truck and an SUV. When I try to pay the SUV, a new pop-up gives me the choice to use my bank or a card. No matter which one I choose, it automatically switches back to the truck. Thank goodness I submit my payments early. I guess I'll have to find another way to pay the SUV before the deadline if this app doesn't start acting right soon.

Paying toward your principal balance doesn't lower your monthly payment or go toward future payments, which is a terrible policy meant to disincentivize borrowers from paying their loans off early. It's such a scummy tactic that forces borrowers who want to pay extra toward their loans to manually track how many payments they still have remaining, since the app doesn't do this for you.

Fix mode of payment feature on app. Same banking details typed into the actual website and accepted are rejected by the app as if the account didn't exist. Additionally, there is no notification of app payment failure until the payment is delinquent despite receipt of a confirmation email stating payment was "successfully submitted." Get with it, guys!

Can only pay one vehicle at a time and have to wait for it to clear before making the other because it brings up the wrong information when you try to pay the other and now it's not saying it's paid or pending even though the payment history shows I paid. This app used to be great and now it's useless. I specifically asked for GM financial for my last 3 vehicles. I won't be making that mistake again.

Worst Financing Company App Ever! Received error that I can't submit a payment since I'm a few days past the due date but paying before the late day. No big deal right? Go to the ATM and pay the fee so I can move all the due money to an account to submit to full payment. But what's this? 4 days after the submitted payment, ALL PAYMENTS ARE FORCED INCLUDING THE ERRORED PAYMENTS THAT WERE SAID TO FAIL BECAUSE IT WASNT ENOUGH FUNDS. I'm not big on taking the time to write a review, but wanted to chime in to offset the negative. I LOVE THIS APP. It is super easy to use and user-friendly. I'm well versed in tech, but even if I wasn't, this app makes everything so simple. Shows where you stand compared to full loan pay-off in payment count and QTY and could not be easier to make a payment. I can literally make a payment and kno where I stand in under 10seconds and go about my day. Love this!

Every month I have the exact same issue when trying to make a payment. I go through the process of setting it up. When I submit the payment, it automatically takes me back to the login page, where at the top of the page, in red, I receive the following message; An unexpected error occurred. Try again later. So, then, I access the GM Financial website through Chrome. Basically takes me to the app. When I make a payment this way, no problems.

This app is junk. I just want to make a payment. It says my email is invalid, but it's the same email I've used for the last 5 months. I was able to make payments on the app until they recently changed it. I even jumped through their hoops to reset my info for the new app changes and it even worked last month. A corporation this big should be able to collect payments online instead of aggravating their customers.

I once had this app. It worked well when I was leasing my vehicle but then it wasn't working. I removed the app. Now that I purchased the lease I tried installing the app. It won't even get to install, just sits pending. I waited 1/2 hour, never stopped pending. I want to have automatic payments as I had when leasing but was told I couldn't over the phone. I'm not on any of the social media things; don't like them. The app isn't good for business if so many people are having problems with it.

When an updated version is available, the old version just stops working. No notice that an update is needed. Instead it says the system is down for maintenance. RIDICULOUS! I've been charged late fees when the app has 'been under maintenance" for over a week and i am unable to submit a payment. Why can't it just prompt an update upon opening the app like so many other apps? At least i understand this costly 'quirk' for the future.

The app is fine. It does what it needs to do. My only issues are that even when I select "remember device" I'm still forced to sign in. Not too big a deal. But the other issue is that every single time I log on to the app the paperless statements enrollment pops up despite already being enrolled in paperless statements. It's quite annoying deal with it every single time

I have loved this app for a long time. but unfortunately recently it has not been working. i have 2 cars with different acct numbers but I can only get 1 to pop up. when I want to pay on the other one it only let's me choose the one car. and the accts are swapped. car information is swapped. it's so weird and I can not get customer service to help.
