Don't trust this bank! I made an account to get paid with Uber but then didn't need to use it. It was extremely difficult to set up, then I discovered I didn't even need it, then they charged me $18 over 2mo for no benefit to me. I don't know what the fees were even for. They closed my account at -$18 so it looks like I'm delinquent. Bad company, bad app, bad design, ripoff

This app has simplified my banking tenfold. My bank has been changing its policies so much that I can no longer keep up and rates are constantly increasing. GoBank and their app has simplified my banking and saved me tons of time and aggravation! I really love being able to quickly and easily deposit checks from home and to find the money in my account generally faster than my traditional bank ever did.

I've had my account for 3 years. Extensive wait for customer service whose accent is so thick it makes it incredibly difficult to properly communicate with the phone rep. The phone reps assistance is always little to no help most of the time. Account issues take extensive time to be resolved even after the issue has been located. The app itself crashes and malfunctions regularly across multiple phone models and brands

Overall very good. One downside is no list of cash-loading locations is available either in app or website. It just says something like, "CVS and other participants." Two things that are more on the service vs the app. there are no free ATMs in my area. And Stripe or whatever it is does not recognize this bank so cannot sync to budget management tools, etc.

Very convenient! I love that I can even hold my money back (in the 'Vault') . One day, I didn't have enough money in my account, so I hurried to transfer my money from the vault to my account. It took seconds, if that. It was immediately there! I did everything on their app, which is super easy to use. I have NOTHING bad to say about this bank. They've even helped improving my credit score. I'd you're looking for a change - use this bank!! I hope I've helped you decide on something great!

app still does not update peek at balance in real time. Have to login and out of app after every transaction to update current balance. Not much good for a quick look. New card suddenly stopped running as credit transactions at practically ALL retail POS! Even gas station inside transactions! Declines credit transaction, forces debit/ pin then app alerts that 2 to 3 deductions have been made for even declined transactions! Called Go Bank, no help there. This keeps up another star will get removed

Check balance feature doesn't work with modern phones that use slide gestures vs buttons. Last three days since Thursday June 4th the website and app are inaccessible and the Facebook page has comments disabled. Nobody answers their phones or calls back if you ask the system to set an appointment. Sad because they've been great up until now. I recommend them often so I hope they turn this around.

This "bank" is garbage. Started off pretty average, but after a few months I had numerous days when I couldn't access my money from the vault. That feature is supposed to be an Instant transfer. The last few months my VA deposit keeps taking longer to post in my account. It's not possible to count on when you'll actuallt get paid. Then, to top it all off, when you call their customer service line after choosing the prompts to speak to a "gobank guide" the service hangs up on you. No email either.

DO NOT TRUST THESE PEOPLE!!! *Every* time I have a problem with my account (about once a month) I get an agent that has no idea how to address the issue and/or puts me on hold for nearly an hour before disconnecting the call. This happens EVERY time. They charge you to deposit money and their support is practically non-existent. What few perks there were (cash back rewards, backup balance, free direct deposit) have all now been removed (starting in 2023) with no notice. NOT worth it!

Great app. So convenient to use. I can view my balance without logging in. I like the fact that it sends balance updates when you spend at any place. It helps me to keep my account balanced and my vault at the amount I want to save. Go bank is better than a traditional bank. No overdraft fees or monthly maintenance fees, as long as you have a monthly direct deposit of $500 coming through. I love this app!

Never had a problem with this app for years until this last update. Since this last update have had problems we ms getting no on. For the last two or three days I haven't even been able to log in at all getting error feedback. Have tried all hours of the day including the midde of the night. Once I got in long enough for a fast glance as it flipped back to error. I have enjoyed online banking but this is very aggravating to the point that I may move to another online bank.

I don't know what the issue is with this app all of a sudden. First of all, when I attempted to transfer funds from my vault to my account, the money just disappeared. I encountered more problems trying to speak to a representative about it. I was finally able to get through to a live agent and they did replace the money rather quickly. Now, I'm having problems logging in. Uninstalled the app and re-installed several times and it's still not working. Keeps saying error, please try again.

Worst app at best if you can get it to work. response to 9/11/18: You can improve your app by fixing it!!! It works for a week, then it says, "sorry there was an error please try again later." The whole point of the convenience of an app is so you don't have to call in and go through an annoying automated system just to talk to someone you can't understand!!

I've been using this bank app for a few years now and at the beginning it was decent. But more often than not this app constantly kicks you out of the app without any notice and you cant access your funds that you have stored in the vault. I had to go many hours a few times without any money because the app randomly decides to shut down and tell you to log in later. And bonus, you cant get ahold of anyone in costumer service! I'm definitely switching to a new online bank card. Poor service indeed

Nothing is ever up to date or correct in the app. Everything is always pending. I havent had access to any of the money I put in this bank for days each time and every time I refresh the transactions or balance it changes. There is no way of knowing where your money is at or how much you have or when it will be available. Not one single transaction in almost 2 weeks now has come out of pending status.

The app has immediately crashed on launch since the Sept 6, 2021 update. All the typical troubleshooting procedures were performed: forcing a stop, clearing the cache & data, and reinstalling the app. Three emails sent to the help address listed under the developer contact have gone unanswered with not even an automated response. I cannot recommend this app. I will delete it and change banks if this is not corrected by October 6, 2021.

Just turned HORRIBLE. I have used this banking app for several years with no issues at all. I actually preferred it over the app my big name bank uses. Just recently however they decided to take away the online bill pay feature from the mobile app. That was the best part of the whole thing. The bill pay was the best and easiest to use. So now to pay all my bills i have to log into an actual computer. From a PC you can still pay bills, but seriously.... what year is this??

If you never have an issue then the app is great and easy, but if you do have an issue (like with a pending authorization not falling off) then they basically give you the middle finger and tell you to shove off. The help section in the app has a list of problems and you go down the line to find yours, but no matter what the problem is, the faq just says they can't do anything and call someone else. Customer service 1 out of 10. No number or email anywhere to contact them through the app either.

When I first got it, it was great, but I've had it now for 3 months: not-so-great. No cust service contact info, it doesn't always give the cashback rewards for purchases, and the "help" feature only gives you info about "stimulus check" deposits, nothing else. I haven't had to deal with cust svc yet, but after reading other's comments, I'm not looking forward to it. Not able to deposit checks thru app. I've had no problem getting/sending $$$ from my regular bank to/from this one.

Love this app. The backup balance has saved me so many times, no fees is such a relief. Convenient! Only issue with it is mobile check deposits take AT LEAST a week for the funds to appear. I think it would do them well to notify their users of this BEFORE they endorse and write "For Mobile Deposit Only" on the back of their check. The first time I deposited a check this way, I didn't know it would take so long, and was very frustrated that I then had no other option but to wait.
