Absolutely useless app. Other than directions and a map display of the area, there was zero functionality or availability to anything you would expect from a hospitality app. No need for any 'customer retention specialist' to even respond or explain. 100% over their technical department, which also influences my overall opinion. I'm not even sure if we'll ever go back, especially since it had gone so far down the hill in the most recent years before CoVid shut them down.

Based on the recent reviews on how. this app works, or is working, compounded by the local stores apparently not knowing how the app works, plus corporate customer service not responding in a timely manner to problems is causing me to rethink having downloaded this app! There is going to be hell to pay if I have rewards available and go to a local restaurant, lose my points and still have to pay! Also trying to scan a receipt and then it not working until after the receipts code had expired!!

Great service , caring staff. Nice selection of food & desserts. Clean , just needs upgrade. I understand that's coming soon. We come every weekend ! Management exceptional.

The app works fine, but wish QR code could be scanned at register. For a buffet, food is good & there are options for every taste bud. I like the grill area & prefer to have Cook put on my plate to avoid open buffet. Fried chicken is good.

App easy to use for my purposes. About 10 meals 'earned' equals about 1 free meal 'redeemed.' I dine at my local GC about 1x per week and have thus far redeemed $30 (in $10 increments) for 3 visits without problem. NOTES: JUST DON'T WAIT LONGER THAN A FEW DAYS TO ENTER YOUR RECEIPT# FOR ITS POINTS, OR APP WON'T ALLOW YOU TO! ALSO: DON'T be scared when, once you've reached the 100-points/$10 'earned' goal, you see those points gone from app's main screen..your $10 'earned' is still within!

Food is always good but it gets cold really fast because of the temperature of the restaurant. Waite staff is excellent. My husband is in a wheelchair and has no problem navigating through the lines

The app took all 94 points and I had to start over. Losing all $94 worth of my credits towards my $10 coupon . Nobody seems to be able to help. Lot of finger pointing.

Golden corral is bliss! Wow! It's whole presentation is fulfillingly amazing! The food is spectacular! The servers are all on top of their game! The food just keeps coming and you can always have coffee with your dessert 🍪🎂 heck you can have dessert first if you want! It's always busy but we Never wait long and it's always so exciting to just EAT! Whatever and as many times as you want! It's mine & my family's favorite place to chow down! Go GC! ✋

The app said to look for a marked Curbside space, but I've driven around 4 times and there isn't one. The app asked where to find me when I arrived so finally said the first handicapped spot next to the exit door. I've been here 10 minutes (past pick up time), still no appearance of food. I've had a horrible day, it's getting dark and I really want to go home.

This app cannot be downloaded because our smart phone is not registered in the States. We are from Canada so the app cannot be downloaded. We have another smart phone but no data. We can download the app to this phone but we can't get the discount at the restaurant because there is no wifi. So we can't open the app. No win to the foreigner.

Cheated out of points AGAIN. Entering your receipt code is a waste of time because you never get the points credited to your account even though the app gives you a message saying the code was entered successfully. This happens top often to be an accident. Tired of being cheated. I will eat elsewhere. Uninstall.

Have used this app three years. Just lost my account and points earned on recent visit and had to sign up again. Had two accounts on two phones and both were not in system at all. I have gone six months without eating here without losing points ant it's only been a month since my last visit and they cancelled my account taking my rewards away.

So they can't scan the QR CODE at the register. Then you can't scan the receipts, and most of the time they don't have a number code that you can enter in the app,, and I'm wondering why they can't get a scan gun so that they can scan right at the registers. then the guy that is working the cash register don't care and is not friendly at all. i might have to make them return my money if it does not print a code, then ring it up again until it prints a code number. We spend alot of money here

My points expired due to inactivity. Yes, I know it's my fault. The rewards system sucks. They should offer you coupons to entice you to come back often to their restaurant. I have the Auntie Anne's app, and they give you coupons to entice you to go back to their store if you've been away for a while. Golden Corral needs to follow their example.

The App will steel (ghost) the redeemed rewards certificate without any reason or justifications. Have lost 2x $10 in a row, never redeemed or use them, but just disappeared. Wasted over 3 weeks responding to the agent in the app feedback due to her slow and ignorant responses to quit on me at the end without any solution. Now 2x$10 certificates has gone!!! Don't waste your time!!!

The app is great until you get to the restaurant and you aren't able to use your reward points. In addition to that the receipt doesn't even have a code or number to download points earned for the current visit. I have lost over fifty points due to their inefficiency. They are always super apologetic and claim it's due to their out of date computer system. Ya ok, then end the whole program.

Not impressed. It only allows 1 code every 4 hours (used to allow 2 codes) and if you have several people at the same table who want to pay separately it still only gives credit for 1 code. This tends to make me want to meet friends somewhere else, where my business is more valued. Plus, having to have an app to earn rewards is unnecessary. You should be able to do it thru the Good as Gold Club, but cannot.

I come here every Sunday morning to have a moment to myself while I read and have a good breakfast to start my busy day of cleaning. The cashier is very friendly and personable. The wait staff is also very fast and urgent with drink refills and buying the table of any excess dirty plates. The food is always hot and fresh on the bar.

Terrible App, also terrible service,also terrible at keeping the food containers full. Always emptied out of the popular things so you have to wait then keep running back and forth to check. Should have gone to a nicer sit down restaurant I guess. Took me 2 days to get into my account and now I can't add the $75 I spent, and customer service won't even reward me for the 3 to 4 hrs I have worked on this. Not surprised so many of their restaurants have shut down

It's a bit confusing since I did not have a barcode to scan or the restaurant did not have a scanner for the code on my telephone. I use the code spelled out on my receipt at the urging of the manager and that worked so I got nine points. Once you get past that that little hurdle it's pretty easy to use and pretty easy to sign up.
