I've had Gosund products for years now, & the app continues to work until it doesn't. RN I have more Gosund devices than are connected to the app because the app randomly disconnected them for no reason. I'd have to uninstall it, have it "forget" 10 separate lightbulbs & 2 plugs in 4 different rooms, then reinstall everything *at the same time.* If I don't respond to ALL the devices, blinking lights, in 30 secs, DO IT ALL OVER AGAIN, just to REINSTALL the devices *it* disconnected.

They changed their app since the last time I had to deal with it. I was moving everything to a new network, but their devices have no controls over network in the app, only to test it.. so I had to remove them all to reconnect. And now they won't connect at all. No real problems before aside from slow setup times. But now setup doesn't seem to work at all, auto or manual, following all instructions.

Had to uninstall current app to update to the newest version. Love it. Got image icon back and Dark Mode... REMEMBER... If you have issues reconnecting 2.4ghz...to do so... I find that selecting current wifi connection and being patient works. Most new generation routers & modems are 5ghz or wifi 6 which cause connection issues not allowing for easy connection to 2.4ghz... GPS, scheduled, Alexa, Hey Google, etc. Widget shortcuts are Awesome and work seamlessly...

I got a smart plug. It works great, was very easy to set up, and I use it every day. I'm taking away two stars though because this app is riddled with ads. More often than not I accidentally click on a popup ad just trying to turn my light on. It's really annoying and makes me wish I went with a different brand

I have been using Gosund devices for several years, and very happy with them. I've got 3 light switches and 5 smart plugs, and control some by schedule and others by voice commands to my Google Nest devices or my phone. They have been very reliable and are easy to configure. It's nice to have my outdoor lighting automated, and to be able to control how bright the lights are.

Set up with plugs in gosund was easy. Connecting with Alexa was a little more difficult. My experience. When I searched gosund in the Alexa app skill section, I found that it did not allow me to enable the skill. I had to disable the skill, then searched again, found the gosund skill, clicked on it again,and this worked! The second time it allowed me to enable the skill, linked my accounts, and automatically searched and found my plugs, enabled them, and they DO work now... It was a challenge!

Easy to set up, easy to use. Instantaneous response. I don't have to walk over to a light switch if I don't want, just whip out my phone! My only problem is that I have it set to automatically update, and I keep getting notifications to update, and when I tap to update it brings me to the Google store, but doesn't give me a way to update. It's growing increasingly annoying.

Using smart outlets for lamps currently. Works as expected! Easy set up and programming. It would be great if I could set a vacation mode that might randomize lights on/off pattern. But I can manually adjust any lamps if needed. Was able to share app and light settings with son so he can control, too. Very happy with purchase and bought 2 more. Been using for awhile. Sometimes glitches and some plugs forget when a schedule was changed. Not a huge deal but annoying.

App and devices can be unreliable. We have 8 gosund devices. 3 are completely unreliable. One switch operates on a schedule that I have yet to find. There's no schedule shown in the Gosund app there's no routines in Google and no schedules in Alexa. 2 of the 4 double port switches are almost always shown as offline. No plans to try any more Gosund products

A recent update now has the app repeatedly prompting me to give Bluetooth and location permissions. I only use the app in one place with wifi. I want to be able to use the on/ off interface without getting these annoying and intrusive prompts to give unnecessary permissions! Your response is unsatisfactory. If the app works fine for me without Bluetooth and location, why do you need to badger me to give the permissions?

The app refuses to function without location permissions. The app does not need this permission to perform it's basic functions of turning devices on and off and so on. This is a large privacy risk since they can just save the data and change the policy on what they do with it at any time.

Its not that great. I have two devices that require the app, and both are meh. The app only works when you're on the same wifi. Once you leave the house it's out of range. If you agree to notifications, they will send you weekly notifications of sales. Their app is covered in ads. Next smart device will be a different product, definitely.

Edit (pop up ad was improved and is less frustrating). I would really like to see some sort of scene automation options like "run every 1 hour" instead of having to create 24 individual schedules that run every day. And not being able to delete entries when editing a scene is really frustrating. Have to delete and recreate the whole thing.

Works pretty well, but needs two things. The dimming range isn't low enough with LED, and I need a way to link two dimmers so that they dim each other. I can only do on and off in a scene. Is it possibly to add a resistor into the output to lower the dimming range? Thanks for the reply. I want the two dimmers to control each other at the wall, but group seems to only work in the app.

Works perfectly fine with Gosund smart plugs. I like how they're easy to setup and set schedules for. I will however dock my rating over the obnoxious notifications about 'deals' on their products. It vibrates like an emergency warning to tell you their 3-pack of smart plugs is on sale...

DO NOT BUY THIS! DON'T GET SCAMMED The light has a faulty USB for power button. But the real mess is the syncing the light to the wifi. I've had it for about 2 years and in the last year it has gotten worse and worse getting the device to work. Tonight was the last straw. 3 hours we worked in getting it synced to no avail. Waste of time and money.

I have 8 smart plugs and 2 light switches. This company is making great stuff at great prices. I can control my fish tank, Christmas tree and outdoor lights with ease. My first plugs have been used for over 2 years now. Keep up the good work! The interface is better than Google. It could improve, but I'm glad they keep it simple. I've seen reviews that say you have to be on the same wifi. that's not true. I set it up on 2.5 ghz then switched to 5ghz and it works. Also works on Mobil
