More About Gratitude: Self-Care Journal

The Gratitude app is a carefully-designed self-care tool to help you focus on your mental health.
With gratitude journal, affirmations, vision board, and daily motivation content, Gratitude provides you with all the tools and reminders you need to gain motivation and develop a healthy self-love routine in your life.

To live a happy and fulfilling life, it is important for us to have good mental health and a strong sense of self-love.

And, as the app is completely private, you can always be assured that your precious journal entries, affirmations, and vision board are for your eyes only.

Here are the tools that you will find in the Gratitude app:

1. 📖 GRATITUDE JOURNAL

A gratitude journal or diary opens up your eyes to reflect on all the little blessings in your life.

In daily life, we can lose sight of what we are fortunate to have and by keeping a journal you can slowly and steadily shift your perspective to focus on what is good in your life.

The Gratitude app will send you reminders with prompts to help you build the habit of journaling.

You can also add photos to your journal entries, build a gratitude journal streak, and access hundreds of journal prompts.

2. 💗POSITIVE AFFIRMATIONS

If you’ve heard about manifestation or the law of attraction, you’ve probably heard about affirmations.

Positive daily affirmations change our self-talk to focus on more loving and kind thoughts towards ourselves.

They give us the motivation we need to keep moving forward and believe in ourselves.

The Gratitude app has hundreds of affirmations that you can listen to or read, as per your need.

You can also write your own affirmations, add music, and record your voice to them.

Positive affirmations are a dearly loved tool and with this affirmations app, it is very easy for you to practice them.

3. 🏞CREATE VISION BOARDS

Another super popular manifestation tool is a vision board, also called dream board. The vision board serves as a collage of your dreams and goals in the form of photos, quotes, and affirmations.

In the Gratitude app, we’ll help you make a great vision board using sections, goal ideas, and create a video of all your goals together with music. You can also make multiple vision boards!

4. 🌈DAILY ZEN

We understand the need for motivation and inspiration as you build a healthy routine with these self-help tools, which is why Daily Zen is an important part of the app.

Here, you will find gratitude quotes, motivation quotes, thought switch ideas, thank you cards, affirmations, blog articles, and real-life stories of people who changed their mindset with gratitude.

One simple switch can begin a massive change in your life. A self-care tool like Gratitude will help you build a healthy routine to take care of your mental health, achieve your goals, and live a beautiful life.

This app will eventually cost you $29.99 yearly after a seven day trial period. The journaling and prompts are free, all with affirmations and praise for good work, but if you want to listen to podcasts, or educate yourself with it's many categories of self-help, you have to pay the $29.99/yearly fee charged to your credit card before the free trial. I benefited overall from this app a lot. I don't know if it's worth so much money , but I may benefit more from just paying. Overall, amazing app!

I was actually very impressed with this app and the simplicity of using it. I had quite a few journal entries and then the other day, for no apparent reason, the app disappeared from my phone. It was the only app that did. I contacted owner of app to see how to recover all my journal entries but I never received a response... disappointing. Very upset that I lost all my personal journal entries. I don't trust this app that this might happen again to me.

I really love this gratitude app. It challenges my strength and thinking and writing skills. I have used it in so many ways. I love it and it's useful and simple to use. Downfall is I'd like to attach more then 1 photo sometimes in a entry. Also. Only 10 photos in a visions board. And only a few boards are free. So I don't like that either. But it's durable. I also like the daily zens And most of all I love reading other folks story's. ❌⭕❌⭕

I LOVE this app! The prompts can be a bit redundant but I enjoy being reminded to show/think about being grateful first thing when I wake up (when my reminder is set). It's a great way to start/set the tone for my day and keeps me positive even when things appear bleak and depressing. Writing helps me realize there are good things going on/in my life. Kudos to the developers!

I really enjoyed this app and I think it's helped me a lot. I like the thirty day self care challenge and the randomized prompts as well as the quotes. The style of the app is so pleasing and it's easy to use, no adds or pop-ups. I would like to have more affirmation audios available without the free trial, and maybe the ability to make more than one vision board. I LOVE the voice recording option!! You can respond to prompts with it, or remove the prompt and just record what you're feeling!

It's okay I guess if you need an alarm to be set so you can look at your phone and then remember to be grateful then this is the app for you! For me it's redundant and I lost interest the second I paid the $40. I do enjoy the vision board but everything else is readily available in a multitude of other apps that serve my needs better. I really don't need an alarm to bug to write something It's big on streaks which mean nothing to me. I'm about authenticity and quality not mindless chatter

This is a lovely app! Easy, concise, & the best thing> It's Fully accessible for me as a Blind user. I haven't come across anything my TalkBack can't read. I'm on the 10th day of the 15 Day Challenge, & it's great. The prompts are Simple, yet they make you think & dig deep. The only thing I'd change is add an option to select a Religious exploration; less focus on the "Self" & more focus on God.

Its pretty cool, for me personally I don't know what to write in my journal, but the random prompts really help but when I write there's a annoying glitch where it keeps moving to a different spot it's hard to type, and you can only make one vision board which also kind of disappointed me, and you can't even add pictures to your journal entry's unless you pay....

I rarely use this app ever since the update which causes the immediate pop-up upon opening the app prompting me to look at memories. I look at the past posts when I wish to, I don't need a reminder every time I open the app it's extremely annoying because I often have in mind something I wish to journal for today but by the time I close out of the pop-up I don't even bother since what I wanted to type up isn't as fresh in my mind. I won't be re-subscribing. Pop-ups just add unnecessary stress 👎

good things about this app: 1. The prompts are deep and thought-provoking 2. A vision board to help with your goals 3. There's a lot of different things to help you 4. You can customize it to your style bad things with this app: 1. You have to have a premium account to do extra prompts 2. The premium costing a lot for a "self-help" app 3. There's not a lot on spiritual guidance/help

I'm not sure about the paid version, but through the free version, it is such a new and fun way to journal. If you enjoy journaling or writing, but it's not really helping you emotionally, I definitely recommend this app. The questions help you think and focus on a specific feeling and possibly a moment in your life or throughout your day, that it makes it easier to find the good rather than focusing on the bad.

This is awesome. I love the prompts a lot. I only have a few nitpicks: we need a color wheel to have more color variation in our journals (I'm not a pastel fan too much). If the year long subscription is $30 or $2.99 a week, why can't the monthly also be $2.99 a week instead of $4.99? That kind of punishes the user who is broke and can't afford $30 up front, yet then ultimately costs $60 for a year. Not cool.

I wish there were more widget options. I do like this app. It helps with short affirmations or short journal work or just daily reminders. It's not overwhelming and not trying to advertise or sell me something with every click which I highly appreciate. I enjoy the challenges you can partake in. I wish you could do more than 1 challenge at a time. On days when I feel I have nothing to look forward to this app has helped. Much more pros than cons. If I could've given a 4.5 I would've.

Very helpful. Recently went through a break up and I swear... This app kept me sane, calm and in control. The exercises are helpful and pretty easy. I don't like to journal too much but the prompts help and I've learned a lot, became more self aware and made changes. I purchased the pro version and I'm able to back up all my entries. Will be interesting to see the growth over a year.

I lay in bed, before turning off the light, and I do the challenges, according to the daily prompts. It calms my mind and leads me to reflect on my day, or recent events. This app really is all about gratitude. Its also convenient to be in my own bed and doing the 'work'. I appreciate the prompts. It automatically slows me down, makes me think and allows me to be introspective. Its a simple app, but its beneficial to the mind and how we think about things.

I love it & think it's worth every penny. under $5 a month is definitely something I prioritize for this because it has helped me make a habit of setting aside a few minutes a day to myself & mental well being. I love the prompts & that you can skip them if need be. I love that I can add photos to the journal. the affirmations page is incredible, you can use the ones provided which there are hundreds or you can create your own! saying affirmations outloud is a game changer. ur worth it! do it!

6/6/24 - still love the app, but not a fan of the color change outside of the dark mode. Uninviting. 6/20/23 still love this app and recommend it to all my therapy patients, but there is glitch in the system. Keeps showing "today" for the day prior and you have to change the date and then put back on the right one for it to save coreectly. I adore this app and have recommended it to many of my therapy patients with great reviews and results!

Been searching for a journaling app for a while now. Am an avid pen and paper journaler. Wanted a way to journal during the day instead of looking at social media. I've loaded and tried SO MANY APPS. They just didn't work for me - strange layout, forced way to set it up, no calendar view. Gave up for a while and Gratitude popped up when I downloaded another app. It's AMAZING!!!! It has the calendar view I have been looking for and it works just like a text to add pics! Easy backups too! LOVE!

I do like the app. It has definitely kept me in gratitude, and the journal entries are great. My only concern and reason for the 4 stars instead of 5 stars is that there aren't many options if you are using the free version. You can only make one vision board, only one affirmation mantra available, etc. If you want anything more, you have to pay. Only one?! I mean, come on... you could give us a little bit more for the free version.

I love this app! Not only does it remind you every day to open the app & give you a prompt to write about, it also has classes, and challenges! The classes are to learn to have self love, and be and show gratefulness, and setting habits. The challenges are all about being grateful, having self love, and daily gratitude. I especially like that you have to do one day at a time for the challenges and courses. Each day unlocks tomorrows challenge. Lots more! You just have to check it out yourself!
