Used to work. Reinstalled 3 times, doesnt load. Obviously an ongoing issue that isn't getting fixed. Really was only good for the airport arrivals/departures numbers, but that should be improved using live data instead of scheduled data. EDIT: after reinstalling for a 4th time (didn't folow the developer's suggestion of clearing the app data, because I know that's not the issue), it is working again.

this app is very good for tracking mileage and expenses... as long as you put all of that in manually. I have noticed that because of the cell tower upgrades in my area, the mileage was off by quite a bit. for example: in 1 month I physically had only 346 miles, but Gridwise tracked over 2000 miles. Thi is the second time I am trying it, because I did not want to write a review on my first experience. and I promise to update my review accordingly

It doesn't accurately track miles. It tracked all 10 hours I was driving yesterday, but only showed a little under ten miles driven. My odometer showed about 130 miles. Don't use this as your only means of tracking miles. I appreciate the advice, but permissions are already set to allow location all the times. I ran it for 10 hours today, 8-9-23 and it tracked zero miles. It didn't even make an attempt. Use a notebook over this app.

I used to pay for the plus version, but due to missing features and what felt like never updating information, I have forgone with the paid version. For example, the insights always showed the same locations and times across multiple weeks. Either there aren't enough drivers using the app, or the information isn't accurate. It's still worth using to track mileage. Would be cool if you could set the week start period manually. I drive Friday through Tuesday, which breaks up my tracked data.

It is a handy thing to provide you some information at a glance. If you split shifts it is a pain to use, that is not a feature. I find it informative to see the airport flow but I wonder how accurate that is really all the time. Overall it is handy, it by no means saves me money or makes me more money have no idea how that is possible with this app.

Helpful, but not always accurate. The app will sometimes say I drove way more miles than I actually did. For example, yesterday it tracked over 500 miles but I most definitely did not drive that much. Luckily I use a backup app to track my mileage. This is very important as it needs to be accurate for tax purposes. It also misses earnings sometimes. I would consider paying for the app if these features would work accurately each time.

*update*... Doordash is no longer syncing. Opened support tickets several times and can't get any help or answers. "We are aware of the issue and working hard to resolve it". It's been going on for about a month now and all my earnings for the year have been erased. *Original review*...Great App, easy to use. Keeps track of your mileage and earnings all in one place. Let's you know when to drive for maximized earnings!

I use it daily to track my expenses. I got the plus version for the expanded airline info and it saves me a lot of wasted time sitting in the queue. It also helps me see when it's most profitable to drive. EDIT: Ive been having an issue with the app crashing multiple times during a shift, also the mileage just stops tracking randomly throughout the night.

In my opinion: Misleading advertising. It does not track exact pickup and drop off locations. It only tracks mileage travelled from the time you start a shift, to the end. It's a mileage tracker that makes vague airport traffic predictions and tracks earnings across apps. There are free apps out there that provide the same functionality and more. Not enough value to support a $10 subscription. I also have questions/concerns related to their data collection practices and use. Zero trust.

It's really easy to use for the most part but there are some big flaws. The tracker shows running in the background but the miles aren't added upb properly sometimes. For example, it shows 22 miles when I've been driving all day across multiple cities. It recorded a fraction of miles (22 for the 120+ that i drive) and this isn't the first time it's shorted me. It drains a lot from the battery and doesn't sink well with DD. You're better off with a mileage tracker that works.

I've pretty much given up on gridwise. I really like the app, but it just doesn't work on my phone. I've done all the troubleshooting through support who were awesome. I look forward to trying it when I upgrade to a more powerful phone. I currently have a Google pixel 5A. The mileage tracking is extremely inaccurate, often showing a distance many many times what I've actually driven, and the app crashes frequently. I'll just stick to everlance for now

The app is useful, compared to other milage trackers, because it automatically syncs your earnings, and calculates your earnings per hour and per mile. However the "where to drive" section might not be useful to you, depending on your location. Also, it drains the battery way too much, even in the background. If you use this app, make sure to disable it on your days off. Especially if you're driving around a lot.

App is not precise. It crashes then when I relaunch it adds about 100 miles to my mileage everytime. I just found another discrepancy with earnings. It sometimes shows more then I actually earn. I've used this app for a couple months but I am moving on. I was hoping an update would fix these issues, but I'm getting impatient. I will find another app, this one is unreliable if you care about being honest with your mileage.

I used the pro version for about 6 months, but came across 3 showstoppers: 1) ads are still pushed on PAYING users, both in the app and by email. If you unsubscribe then they won't send you data exports. 2) To stop tracking, you're required to be within wifi/cell range. I don't need a signal to turn off my car, and not everybody lives in a city. And 3) account sync triggered a security breach with uber, so I was unable to be paid for several weeks. That was the breaking point.

Able to connect with gig economy driver apps like doordash, etc. and generate income reports. And it tracks miles. Which is useful for a lot of stuff even if you don't have a business as a driver. The free account is completely usable, generates PDF reports, and is limited to manual mile tracking (you push the go and stop buttons to track trips)

They are going to start charging for milage tracking and income tracking when all it does is interface with the free GPS and my gig work app to do each. Additionally they are certainly selling the data they scrape from us. They're about to see a huge drop in users and collected data to sell. The app crashes constantly anyway so it's just as well.

When it works, Gridwise is very nice, with good breakdowns of a lot of info. Those breakdowns would still benefit from finer detail (hourly instead of morning/night, and bounded maps of neighborhoods for ex.). Needs to allow saving of multiple vehicles and organization of trip records by vehicle and by purpose (personal, each gig employer, etc). V3.51.0 crashes frequently on Galaxy S23U with auto tracking enabled.

Edit: changed from 3 to 5 stars because since the last major update, the app has worked perfectly for weeks now. I've been tracking the miles manually as well, and each day, Grid wise has been exactly correct! Very much loving the app now :-) Thanks, Devs! It usually worked well over the past year, but about a week ago, it stopped tracking mileage. Every day I work 8 to 12 hours driving and at the end of day it says I went 8-20 miles or something. It should say 200+.

Used to be able to sync earnings with the gridwise basic. Now I have to pay to sync my earnings. Update: Thanks to the developer response. I understand the cost reasons. I guess it will be an extra step for me to put everything in myself. No big deal. I am just budgeting at this point and can't justify the subscription cost. Updated to 4 stars.

The auto mapping feature crashes and makes my phone unstable while driving, slows down the phone, and uses a ton of resources ( get a top, or task manager app, you'll see). Canceled the subscription since the auto feature isn't working correctly. Don't really need this app anyway, especially with the new tools the driving platforms provide in their driver apps. I'd recommend using a different product if you insist on tracking miles digitally.
