Ever since I activated the etoken, I have been unable to use it for any transaction on the gtbank App. It has always been error of Token not Activated. For the past 30 days, my business has been affected because I can not transact on gtbank hence the error. I have contacted gtbank customer care with over 50 emails and 100 calls yet, all to no avail in fixing my issue. Terrible bank, terrible App, zero star.. I have already sent email to the developer and hoping for a fix..

😞 this app is very annoying, I can imagine myself stand at the bank for two hours for otp code and couldn't get it. Even it now 😭😔 just wasted my transport money and still they could not resolve the issue. I would why you guy upgrade the app and made it difficult for customer to use. Na WA o.

The app keeps showing "onboarding limit exceeded" any time I try to register. This is my first time using it. Without the etoken app my GTB app is totally useless to me. Can't make any transactions whatsoever. Is there an alternative Gtbank app that requires a 4-digit pin? Or is there a way I can get the etoken app to work?

Even when the App is closed and reopened, it still brings up the previous token code, thereby frustrating transactions. It is usually after several clicking of the "regenerate OTP" that it then brings up a new code for you. AND On several occasions, the code is not accepted when transaction and eventually barrs you from using the token app for like 30minutes. GTBank can be way better than this.

GTBank has mastered the art of doing things in reverse order. You guys stopped issuing hard tokens and are forcing us to use the soft token, but did not get things right before rolling the app out. Typical!

This is the worst app I have ever used. The old app was working perfectly and my nightmare started when I updated the etoken app. I cannot generate the codes because it keep skipping and taking yo settings and info. I cannot use the etoken app and I have to use the ussd code. Please do something about it.

Awesome. I've read some of the reviews about this app, and initially felt discouraged to try it. However, I was stunned by its rapid instant initialization and activation: wonderful! Having tried its usability, loading time, user-friendliness, etc., I came to realize that I cannot give anything less than 5 stars. It works offline after activation! This is another plus to GTBank for, yet, another innovative stride. GTBank is a time-saver!

I downloaded but I have not been able to activate it for more than three days now. They have refused to send OTP to my registered phone number and my email since then. I went to their branch to give me hardware Token, they said not available. The E-token could not be activated. I traveling next week so I don't really know what to do. I told them in the bank, they said it was network. Gtb, you no try at all. All the numbers online to call could not be reached.

I am unable to use the app on a new phone. When I open the app on the new phone, my ID is already shown and then when I attempt to log in, it says not allowed on this device. On the old phone on reinstalling the app, it lets me add the ID as though I have never used it on that phone and I can log in on the old phone, suggesting it is locked to that handset. There is no way of disabling it on the old handset. It needs fixing ASAP. It needs a function to allow a fresh install on a new handset.

I'm outside of the country, and I can't even access my money to send to family. The initial setup of the app requires an OTP code, a code which is neither sent via text nor email. So, you're just stuck. It's expensive to call international several times and be put on hold never to get an actual customer representative to assist. This is ridiculous...why put out a subpar product?

Since I updated the app, it was giving me 1001Identification Error Threshold Reached TOKEN. Please how can this be fixed? I couldn't get through to the call center. I tried uninstalling the app, restart my phone and re-install the app. NO difference o. After re-installing the app, it opens with my old details. I beg how can this be fixed?

This App is a nightmare. Do not work without internet compared to the older version that is very stable. This App is very unstable. Why force us to use it. I have been deleting files from my phone to see if it would work. Please, give us our hard token. Let me try this version.

I am currently stuck at the second page where you would need to select an account type. After selecting individual account, it doesn't bring up my bank account, or give an option to select a bank account after typing to search for an account. Then It times out and I am not able to generate an OTP. What is the solution to fixing this?

I am really upset. You make updates that break things. I was using the previous version just fine without any problems and now just to simply update thinking you might have added something better instead you clear the application data and just made it worse. I am currently not in Nigeria and the only way I activated it the last time was Gtconnect which is not available in this update. Now I can't use my account and transfer to my family all because of an update. JUST TERRIBLE!

This etoken app is working well until the last update. I'm regretting installing the update. This version doesn't allow the use of biometric even when I've enabled it in the settings. Fingerprint was working well in the previous version. This version keeps asking for the pass code. It won't allow me to generate token until I have input my passcode. Please fix this.

Painful experience. Registering it was a nightmare. It doesnt run after installation. The physical tokens were much better. After opening a web page, I cannot get o open and get input to generate an OTP? Why roll out an app that doesnt work?On the apps store its says its available to install on some of your devices, but the list of devices is grayed out after I uninstalled it.

This app was working just find until last weekend December 9th when an update was done and it stopped working. I have contacted GTB severally and have not received any useful explanation as to why this is the case. The option to reactivate it through GT Connect is also not available. GTB is terrible with communicating changes in simple things. It was the same situation when the migrated to the current banking app.
