I can't get my phone to recognize there is a kiosk in the store. I have Uninstalled, reinstalled, and it just continues searching until it says unable to find. My Bluetooth is on, my location is enabled. I have a Samsung galaxy s10 I don't know if this is a phone issue or what but it's frustrating. I have watched the partner modules too so that's not an issue.

This app is a terrific timesaver! Scan stuff as I put it in the cart, then wheel up to the kiosk when I'm done. I don't even have to take it out of the cart. It's especially good when the store is busy and there are three or four people waiting in line at each register. I've never had to wait for a kiosk. Minor nitpick: I wish I could scan coupons in the app instead of at the kiosk. It also needs to be able to scan the e-coupons that the My HEB app uses.

App has been working fine since the payment issue was resolved in early January. I can't believe it's not used more when I see the lines at the store, even at self-checkout. Easy to scan items. No paper receipt. Able to view previous receipts and comparison shop when not in store. Wish that discounts and coupons could be applied in the app instead of at checkout but overall very robust functionality.

This app is good for when it's busy and you don't need a lot. You still need to go to a kiosk to finish payment (and bag if you did not bring some), but it does speed up the process a little. Once you have your debit/credit card set up you cannot edit or remove it, hopefully in a future update they will fix this. I would recommend this for small purchases; but if you're getting a full basket, it might be better to just get in line.

Overall pretty good. It is fast to scan items on note 10+ but a little slow on the qr code. It functions without many errors but does have a few things that are bothersome. If you work nights and wear ear buds the beep when it scans an item is almost deafening, also there doesn't seem to be a way to bring up the individual items from a specific receipt within the app.

It's the best. Helps me get in and out of the store quickly and bag my own stuff at my own pace. I like the integration of my digital coupons and the thing that would make this app even better is somehow integrating my grocery list from the other HEB app. For now, I have to use split screen mode and run both apps. It gets wonky and has to re-fetch data and cart on screen orientation, but otherwise awesome

Pretty good app. Pros: get to skip the checkout lines; scans items fairly accurately (don't often have to rescan). Cons: doesn't calculate tax as you go along so the as-you-go total isn't entirely accurate if you're buying non-food items; randomly signs you out between sessions; scanner takes pic really quick so if you're camera isn't pointed at the exact right spot, you'll have to wait a few minutes to rescan because it gets stuck.

I love the app and it saves time in the grocery store. I took away one star because although I've been using the app for years, I noticed today that when I went to pay the card I had on file was expired. When I went to add a new card, there is no option to add a new one. There is a screen that says to tap a nonexisten + button. I ended up canceling my order at the kiosk and went through self check out to scan each item again. This was inconvenient. I hope this part of the app gets fixed soon.

When the kiosks and the system are working properly, this app is great. Hope they put this in all HEBs. The app sometimes gives me buggy issues that get resolved when I call in, but usually it's the system down at the kiosk that's more aggravating. I don't like how every time I have to call about an app problem, I tend to be on the phone for at least 30 mins. Overall, I really like this app, though. While everyone else is standing in line waiting I can't check out in about a minute w no wait

When this app works, it's fantastic. unfortunately how about every third item I scan causes my entire phone to crash and restart. It's very frustrating to constantly reboot my phone and set aside items that I have to scan at the kiosk upon leaving the store. Kind of defeats the purpose. If this bug is addressed I would give it a solid four to five stars without a doubt.

I love Love being able to just shop and zip on by. I highly recommend this to people with kids who can't do the long lines of checking out. On another high point it keeps a list of everything you buy so you can actually budget out specific weekly purchases and monthly purchases. And your purchases are totaled up as you go. No more unwanted surprises at the end! The app works fast and is very easy to use. Highly recommend to all.

Great app! The barcode scanner is impressively good and can scan codes very quickly in a variety of orientations relative to the camera. The only reason I'm not giving it 5 stars is that it provides no way of exporting my receipt history. Edit (in response to the developer): Thanks. I'm aware of that feature you refer to. Unfortunately the screenshot only captures the top part of the receipt that fits in one screen. Also, I would rather export receipts in text format (CSV?) for my records.

I love this app! We did some shopping for a canned food drive and had a bunch of items that we were getting. This app sped up the process so much. No waiting in lines, no tying up a cashier with a large order. I do wish you could select a quantity higher than 10, but most people aren't buying in bulk and it wasn't too much more hassle to scan it a couple more times. Their scanner is amazing. It read the barcode upside down, far away, whatever, it will scan it. I also wish you could scan coupons with the app but I get why you can't. Overall an amazing and extremely useful app.

Worked great after using it the first time. There are a few kinks that I think can eventually be fixed. For example there was a 50% off an item but it stated, "apply discount at checkout". If only the 50% sticker had a bar code that allowed me to get the discount on my own. Also I don't see a way to add Samsung Pay as a payment method on the app. That's definitely a huge downside. Other than that shopping was super fast and it was even a little fun scanning items as we added them to the cart. Four stars from me.

Well implemented and easy to use. Updated 12-19-20 Down 1 star. Someone at HEB decided to implement a "You need an attendant to manually scan XXX number of items" thing, and it's awful. I'm getting really tired of *every single time* I use the app that screen comes up at checkout and I have to wait for an attendant to manually scan items that I've already scanned. I get the "why" of it, but HEB needs to come up with a system that is MUCH less annoying. For example, the same person should not be subject to that more than maybe once every two to three weeks or something similar. The attendants keep telling me that "It's random", sorry I'm here to tell you otherwise. It is NOT random. It's been almost 2 months now and every single time I use the app I have run into this. Seriously HEB, this was a fantastic way to shop and pay. Ya'll have definitely killed a good bit of the appeal with this latest change. Please, get this fixed. The sooner the better.

Fantastic app built on a futuristic concept from a great local store! Bug: after adding a card (as part of the sign-up process), the app told me "email already registered" and wouldn't let me proceed. Had to back out and then sign in with the account creds I'd just set up, then I could shop. Feature request: the "building order" process (just before checkout) should sync with the store's order management system while I'm shopping rather than having me wait a good 60-90secs for it to commit to the order management system. Feature request: list-making functionality that checks off of items from my weekly shopping list as I scan them into my basket; bonus points for baking in the planogram and telling me which aisle to proceed to next for the items on my list. Other than that, the process was amazingly smooth and sign-up was WAY less of a hassle than expected.

It's hard for me to give this app a bad review, since it technically does what it advertises. But it's also one of those apps that, once you use it, you realize that it's probably more trouble than it's worth. I can see this saving time if the store is packed and you only have a few items to pick up, but otherwise, you're not going to save any time scanning and bagging items individually as you go, vs. letting a cashier do it. Also, every H-E-B I've ever been to is densely packed such that it's hard to stop anywhere without getting in somebody's way. So what's going to happen if this app catches on, and suddenly you have a bunch of nimrods standing in the middle of a shopping isle, trying to scan stuff with their phone? That's going to get really old, really quickly. At the very least, H-E-B needs to eliminate the last step, which requires you to go to a kiosk when you're done. If I have to do that, I might as well just use one of the self-checkout lanes.

I love HEB go!!! It's fast, convenient and super easy to use!! I only have 2 issues that didn't give it 5 stars...first, the prepackaged items in the deli area don't scan all the time. I have to either not buy that item or use self check out for that one item. Second, I can't update my card info without uninstalling and reinstalling the app. I am always on the run with the kids so this app is awesome!!

Overall simplifies quick trips. Use as often as possible. bit of a learning curve, especially at checkout, but it's worth learning. Only issues so far are with specially marked items (25% off today only, clearance QR codes). Would like to be able to scan coupons directly or see online coupons clipped to my account applied when I scan the item prior to purchase- very minor inconvenience. Otherwise, I like using the app.

Does not work! Fine until it does not work. I have uninstalled and reinstalled this app plus I have reset my password and give it the necessary permissions but no success. Such an inconvenience when I am on a break or lunch because it gets really busy at my store. When I try to use the app, the connection fails and it reads that I am not in an HEB store. I have had this issue before and I had it resolved after calling the toll free number through the app for help but this time it took longer.
