I just downloaded this app and i have to say its difficult to get me excited about an app that has discounts and such but this one is absolutely amazing and had to give u an immediate 5 stars! I seen this on MetroPlay by T-Mobile/MetroPCS app and am stunned. Going right back to continue search through your app because its amazing! Great, Great, Great deals for anyone looking to save money!

I've had so many problems with this app. With my last phone, the app would always close the deals when i clicked on them to get more information and put me back at the main deal page. With my new phone, the app is so slow, loads forever, and Im pretty sure the search function has never worked.

I used to LOVE this app until it was changed to look more like the website. Now I can't stand it. I used to use this app more than any other app on my phone, including Chrome and Facebook. Now I just get irritated as soon as I open it and end up closing it right away. Please go back to the old layout. *Also, it says that I'm rating an older version, but there is no option to update my app, so it's definitely the current version...... update: it's fixed and back to being fabulous!

They have started listing "deals" that aren't really good deals just because they receive a larger commission. Plus they decided to clutter their app with nonsense posts like recipes, articles, etc...things that have absolutely nothing to do with deals. If you want to get good deals firsthand download Slickdeal, that is where Hip2Save copies most of their deals from anyway

I used to love this app for many years until they changed it. It is incredibly slow and extremely sensitive. Not worth waiting around to load. Since then I have discovered Slickdeals app and they have the same if not better deals, minus all the personal and non savings posts Hip2Save constantly has.

Good idea but the app needs work. Expired deals should be moved from the front page into an expired folder. If I click on a deal to see comments there is no back button so I have to close the entire app. I have found some great deals on the website and would really like the app and to get notifications of deals if it worked.

Happy they to see they fixed those past issues with the bugs! I took a chance and brought it back in my life, i love hip2save! 4 stars because i miss the way you had the app 2 years ago..that version was flawless but im ok with this one as well. If it was my choice i would say to put it the old way from 2016.

The site used to post so many more ways to give the consumer the best deals (such as combining Ebates/Rakuten with coupons, etc). I get that they're trying to make money, but every post contains affiliate links, which tells me they're out to make money over saving consumers - they don't mention Ebates at all anymore. Some items posted are high priced and aren't deals over normal price at all, which definitely shows that they're being paid to bring in buyers.

Love Hip2save but really am disappointed with the ads. They get in the way & really annoy me. Updated review: Still love H2S but the app hasn't improved much. Doesn't load well, slow to respond. I've deleted it and reinstalled it many times and it hasn't helped much. Very frustrating.

The app lately freezes a lot, but I am hoping a reinstall will solve it. Update 08/13/23 nope. still freezes every time I open an article in the app. I swipe up to back out of screens, and that is where the app was freezing. Update on 08/17/23 seems to have resolved the issue.

Hip2Save shows deals that don't show up on similar apps. I'm not a huge fan of the new update. I'd rather it open my actual browser or Amazon app to complete a purchase instead of an overlay window. Maybe it's just me, but I'd rather share payment info in as few places.

This app never runs smooth. Links fail to open alot. And Im on a s24. But the worst part is that they push cheap products that send them free stuff/sponser, etc. One company they pushed weekly has been finally banned from Amazon. I liked the old format from years ago when they just posted good deals. Advertising new stanley cup colors should never be on this "savngs site". Nor do I care what ur favorite tee shirt is, are u influencers or a savings site?

Have seen a gradual and now a very steep decline in the usefulness and quality of the website and app. Contentwise The core value and focus seems to have eroded over time in favor of pushing poor and expensive products that pay hip2save for marketing. They don't even write new posts anymore, but just recycle and repost the same ones from as old as 3+yrs old. One more succumbs to greed of profits over helping consumers. Technology wise Latest update makes it buggy and unable to save deals.

Latest upgrade stinks! Very slow, gets stuck. With the new layout you can only see 3 deals at a time. The previous one was so much better. I don't even want to get on the app anymore bc it takes too long to scroll. When I look at a deal I can't get out of it. It gets stuck! I've reinstalled three times to no avail.

Since about or year ago or maybe longer this app does not load properly. I have installed and uninstalled and when I scroll down to see older deals,they never load. I have galaxy note 9. I have deleted the app multiple times and still the same. 04/21/23 The app was working ok,it has started crashing again. Unistalling and installibg did not help.

5/16/23 update This newest update does not open other apps. It now loads apps inside of its app. If I choose to make the purchase I have to close hip2save and open the retailer app and search for the product. Not sure if it's that the links do not work or if it is a setting hidden on my phone. I love hip2save but the app has never been great but now it is just too frustrating. I imagine hip2save is losing any recognition for purchases as purchases are not made via the link.

For the most part the app is amazing and useful when web browser mode isn't an option, however... sometimes you see duplicated posts or it gets stuck from scrolling. On the rare occasion, the links won't work because it needs to be clicked from a computer not mobile device. But it is still a great app and I will continue to use it and keep it on my home screen!

Ever since the updates the app runs terribly slow. It's been months but has never been fixed. The interface is a bit irritating in that if you click on a post, you have to wait sometimes up to a minute for the app to stop thinking and actually show you the details. If you accidentally click a post, you have to wait that whole process out to click out of it because while you can see the X, it's not responsive until it's done its 1 minute load for the post. It was a really helpful app. Now it's just frustrating and time consuming. Other apps provide the same information on deals so at this point I'm done waiting for this one to work properly.

Ok so this is my third review. I just uninstalled and reinstalled and the same problem is happening. When you click on a deal it closes the app. It worked great for a couple days back to problems 🙄. The app has been fixed! Uninstalled then reinstalled and it works now!! The app takes a long time to load. I love the information but the new app (a couple months now) takes to long to load I frequent it less. It's a bummer because I love the deals.

I love the sales, but the app and website don't work most of the time. I have to go through facebook for any of the deals. It keeps telling me the app isn't working and it wants to close out. When I go to the website, it keeps loading each time when you sign in and keep telling you to resign in once you do, and it kicks you out. I tried on a desktop pc, laptop, tablet, and smartphone. I use Chrome to open it, but it's still the same thing. Support, please fix these issues.
