More About Hakuoki: Premium Edition
This work was the basis for the series' culmination, "Hakuoki Shinkai" which released in 2015.
The "Hakuoki" series started in 2008, and until "Hakuoki Shinkai" released, fan disks and anime have been created based on this game.
You can play the origin story of "Hakuoki" along with the additional scenario, the "Tea ceremony event ".
■Story
It is the end of the Edo Era, and the 3rd year of the Bunkyu Era...
The protagonist, Chizuru Yukimura, was raised in Edo and is daughter to a Rangaku scholar.
Having lost contact with her father in Kyoto, Chizuru decides to visit him.
There, Chizuru witnesses a Shinsengumi soldier killing a bloodthirsty monster.
By strange happenstance, Chizuru finds herself connected to the Shinsengumi, and the assassins desperate to kill them.
As time progresses, Chizuru will discover their terrible secret....
Tortured by their own thoughts, the men of the Shinsengumi wield their blades in defense of their faith and ideals, in an era torn apart by chaos.
Hidden in the riots that defined the passing of the Edo period, a dark battle within the Shinsengumi begins: A battle that will never be recorded in the pages of history...

In February 1867, Chizuru is asked to attend a tea party on Kondo’s behalf.
She accepts to go accompanied by the Shinsengumi warriors.

How come I spent 23 dollars on this but half the options are cut? This makes no sense please fix this or provide a refund.

Please buy this. We need more conplete otome like this instead of the freemium ones that will cost you a lot more in the end!

Bought it long ago but finally here to review it. Okay. I bought it on my 3DS, Steam and here. C'mon Idea Factory, give us the english sequels to mobile too!

I love this game! All the guys have really great stories and it's incredibly beautiful! I had the original game but lost it so I was thrilled when I saw it in the play store. I love it so much I didn't mind paying for it again.

I had originally put 3 stars on this but decided to give it another chance. It has a slow start but I am enjoying it more this time around so I decided to add a star for now, and hoping it will get even better. I still personally preferred "Amnesia" and "The Letter" to this one. But time will tell :)

It's a great game but I have a concern. Why can I not see the other routes for certain characters. Since I bough this I thought I would be able to play each chareater. When I look up the walkthoughs there is a lot my characters that I can play. I wish I was able to get my money back since this is not what was avertiasted. If she was a demon and pure blood at that how come she doesnt have better reflexes. This was a dissapiontment over all.

I love this game a lot. I was going to give it 5 stars but then I realised that it doesn't have the DLC routes that Steam has (Sakamoto Ryoma). Given that I paid for a premium edition on mobile, I would hope that I'd get the new episodes too. Will give 5 stars if that happens.

Hakuoki is, by far, my favorite traditional Otome game to date. I love all of them (even the side characters) for a variety of reasons, each of the routes, storylines, and various endings tug at the heartstrings from joyful, to wistful melancholy, so tearful. The art is beautiful, the story is well written and compelling, and the anime is damn good too. (Even if Toshizo Hijikata isn't my most beloved of loves.) I always come back to it. I love it. I love my boys.

I loved this story. I have read all the routes. This is one of the best choices type games. Each decision does actually make a difference and changes the story. And there are multiple endings. Some happy some sad depending on your choices. Great job on this one. I do wish there was a route for Shinpachi.

I love it! If you're like me and you hate those otome games where it's 10 easy payments of $9.99 for ONE ROUTE This game is PERFECT. A one time purchase with 5 or 6 fully voice acted routes? YES PLEASE! (However if you downloaded JUST for Tsuda Kenjiro like I did Kazamas route is..well not worth it to be honest and a bit disappointing given the amount of work you have to do to actually get it) Also not all routes available on this phone ver. But! All in all I would 100% reccomend the purchase!

The game is amazing! I love the characters. The music and visuals are great! For anyone wondering why the other guys (shinapchi, sanan, etc...) routes aren't here, it's because this is based off the original hakuoki: demon of the fleeting blossom which only had 6 playable routes. I suggest buying kyoto winds and edo blossoms if you really want to play routes other than the orig. 6 and read a longer storyline. Overall, I think this game is great taking in to fact that this is a mobile otome!

I downloaded this game thinking that I would be able to play all the available routes listed for it, however not all the dialogue options which are supposed to be showing up (according to every walkthrough I've read) are appearing. This is preventing me from getting on the routes (Harada, Shinpachi, etc.) that I wished to play the most. I like this app for the most part, but a "premium" version of the game doesn't do much good when it cuts out half the available options. Given the extremely high price for this app, I would request a refund, if the option were still available to me. I'm greatly disappointed.

Well worth buying an entire game instead of paying numerous microtransactions, waiting to collect currency, or having to pick mediocre dialogue in order to advance the story without it. The story routes are wonderfully diverse, each worth reading and you get plenty of time for the money you spend. Somewhat new to the genre, I play through once before relying on walkthroughs, but I end up needing them for these games, otherwise my choices are just sloppy. Need more otome structured like this.
