Horrible app I choose settings hit finish to save and none of my selected choices are saved every time it just reverts back to default settings. I can't get it to record with motion sensor all around this app does nothing except let me move the camera and live view everything else it's supposed to do it doesn't nothing else works

Frustrating and useless. This camera is literally on top of my wifi router and can't seem to connect with it most of the time. And when it does the camera points up to the sky and won't move like it says it does. When I finally get it pointed toward my back gate it just goes back up to the sky on its own.

This app is stuck within a loop it seems asking for the minimum permissions to operate and will not open or react further even when applied! I think I'll try to delete and reinstall it before ditching all efforts! Ok... that didn't work and furthermore, it won't accept the fact that I feel this camera app doesn't need to manage and receive my phone calls which is not even one of the minimum permissions required! Well, even after allowing phone calls, app still doesn't find devices or QR code!

Field of View VERY Small. I see no adjustment for a wide angle view. After reading the positive reviews, I was able to connect both to the camera's own network and through my wifi. The key is to give it the 'precise' location permission. The image is nowhere near 4k, more like 240. And very green. At 15ft (5m) the field of view is maybe 6ft. The angle is too narrow for indoor use. Pretty worthless product and wasted money, thankfully it's disposable.

I'm unable to figure out why the app shuts down and closes the second I try to start doing anything to the camera through my phone. it doesn't matter if I tap talk, sound, the arrow to adjust the camera, settings, etc... Please let me know what I need to do to fix this!!! Your response would be greatly appreciated.

This app and the camera have taught me a lesson not to believe every commercial I see. The app instructions are confusing, the app crashes every 20 minutes. I've reinstalled so many times. The camera and accessories are substandard. I will not recommend this product to anyone. Really I wish I could get my money back.

The app has two ways to connect to the camera, with or without WIFI. Both works intuitively with little need of instruction. The app tends to crash 1) when trying to connect without WIFI after the WIFI connection has been set up, 2) when trying to set up the motions, and 3) when changing the power source. The camera can be easily attached to any metal surface. Without the motion alerts, its utility is limited. It does offer serviceable bright-light and IR images at such a low price, to be fair.

Unfortunately all the other comments are true. This camera indicates it is connected to the app but can't get it to operate in any way. Instructions are the pits. As for the camera itself it is a lightweight, the magnet can't even hold it in a horizontal position the battery went dead,even after charging, trying to get it to work. Doubtful one can get their money back from China. Definitely makes you decide not to buy any other products from this vendor.

After installation, the HD IOT camera works OK, especially considering the low price. For full time use the camera was connected to a USB charge cable. Motion detection is not working for some reason. The instructions are horrible. Installation by a novice could be difficult. Have yet to test for reliability.

This camera and app are extremely frustrating. If one aspect works, such as the camera is connected, the phone can not find it, or the phone finds it, but you're not able to finish set up. I say 4 hrs to set up a $30 item without success is NOT worth the trouble. Do not purchase this camera, and do not waste time on the app.

This app doesn't even deserve one star. I have used several different wifi cameras and this is by far the most useless app I've seen. The step-by-step instructions included in the box don't line up with the steps you actually take in the app. The screenshots aren't even in English. When you try to change the motion detection settings, the app crashes and a message pops up saying the app has a bug.

NO thanks to the app's Chinese and lack of helpful directions, but having set up cameras in the past, I was able to get the device to display on my phone, but can't figure out how to connect it to the cloud. Guess I'll have to use an SD card for now. Maybe won't have to return the camera after all. PLEASE someone tell me what "personal" storage means. I'd pay for cloud storage, but surely its not free!

I'm having a lot of difficulty accessing my camera. When I do get it, usually only after going outside and hitting the reset button on the bulb, which defeats the purpose of having a security camera. , I have difficulty keeping it online. I'm really dissatisfied. I didn't get much of instructions with my camera so it could be something I did or didn't do right. When I get a view it's pretty clear. The camera is difficult to move also.

I wouldn't recommend this. It's extremely hard to get the camera connected to your phone when they do not give you information to type the device in manually because the cameras don't always come up as an option to add in their scan option. They didn't provide the qr code, device ID, or original password. Their directions are translated to where it doesn't make sense. Their step by step photos are not how the order is ran with in the app so its very easy to lock your self out of your camera.

Allowed access to location, camera & audio. It wanted to get into my photos, my music, etc. Upon refusing, it gives u an error message for "Tips" whereby it tells u to allow access to the very same ones u already granted permission for! Bottom line: it wants to root around in ur files on ur phone, sticking it's nose where it doesn't need to be.

Resolución is very bad. After playing around with it, I finally connect it to my cellphone . Like I say, resolution is very bad, nothing you can do about it. It keeps shooting down a message comes up, ( this application has a bug, wait for developer update). That's what it says. No 4k, no 2k, not 1080 and not 720 . This I can upload a picture so you can see how bad it is. And every time you turn off your phone and turn on again, have a litle hard time to reconnect again 😠

Its pretty easy to get it connected as long as you follow the instructions, BUT, my only issue is that app has a few bugs, the most annoying bug is when you want to listen in on whatever you're recording, the second you hit "Listen" it closes the app immediately and tells you to update it once the developer fixes the issues. Hopefully it can be resolved soon, once it is, I'll change my rating.
