More About Hear Boost: Recording Ear Aid

A powerful aid for your hearing. Supercharge your ear and get enhanced boosted hearing with this microphone amplifier. Hear Boost raises the volume of your microphone up to 200x. Hear the world around you in an enhanced way like you may have never heard it before. Hear Boost gives your ears amplified super hearing and recording ability to easily capture far away sounds and improve your hearing. Give your ears super powers. Listen and record up to 200x the sound that your microphone normally picks up.
Record as much as your device can hold. We also offer AI transcriptions of all your recordings.

Here’s a tip to get the best sound out of the app. Start with your volume down on your device then slowly turn up the microphone gain in the app. Then you can slowly raise the volume on your device to get a clean sound. The interplay between the two is key.

Be good to your ears and start with the volume down. Slowly raise the volume as your ears can take it. This app can get very loud so please be careful. The ear is very sensitive.

Super charge your ears with an aid and give them a hearing boost. A recording and hearing tool for journalists, students, parents, the curious and anyone who wants to enhance their hearing. Store and share your recordings in wav or mp3 format.

Our microphone input and voice filter switch make this app the perfect tool for journalists to record interviews, students to record lectures, the hard of hearing to use as a hearing aid and much more.

Hear Boost can work in the background so you can place your device anywhere with its display off while it’s still listening or recording. There is no limit to recording. It will keep recording until you tap stop or your storage has run out of free space.

We suggest using wired headphones. Without headphones connected it will feedback on itself and make a very unpleasant sound unless you record and or listen with the volume down. Bluetooth compatible. Use with any Bluetooth headset, but be aware that Bluetooth as a technology has a delay. Because of this we suggest you use Hear Boost with wired headphones.

Pay to win, only two tries and you will need to wait 4 mins, what a bad game.

Works ok enough in emergencies, but not worth the purchase. I'm trying out various hearing boost apps, this one outputs to bluetooth correctly. However, there are things that need more work: - There is a noticeable audio delay between the input and output. There is no delay for the audio output with other apps (like youtube) but there's about a 500ms (blatantly subjective approximation) delay for processing the microphone input. This is a little unnerving since you can hear every little thing around. - The bluetooth audio isn't being picked up, it's using the device's microphone instead. There is no visible way to switch inputs. - The voice filter isn't very useful. I can hear every little noise around me, including ventilation, so I'm not sure what it's trying to filter exactly. Certainly not background noises.

Needs a stereo setting for my device s10plus it has 2 microphones built-in for that purpose with video but your app combines signals from each into mono, when bt headphones are attached mono only is available otherwise it's good. For five stars. 5 minutes blank advert is mildly inconvenient, plugging a stereo microphone to the phone audio jack would make me look intrusive and nosey. I think maybe you can fix all of the above.

Very effective in boosting sounds around you. Massive amplification which is adjustable, good noise reduction, (paid, but not expensive) equalizer, and voice filter. Works in the background! Requests: selectable mic input (phone, wired or bluetooth), and clarity about paid options (unlimited use, equalizer, anything else? Make it transparent and allow an option to unlock everything at once, with a discount).

doesn't stand out, sound quality sub par. I've tested others and this app doesn't meet up with them. The 5 minute wait is the nail in the coffin. Edit: nope still no dice, after doing what the developer suggested (it's not my first time with this problem with another a well) just not well enough and it seems to be a common problem with this app in particular. I suggest that the developer fixed the problem. also I'm not trying to diminish the developer just offer my two cents.

One sugGestion is change the gain slider to a rotory knob for fat fingers like me, with high low settings with a 10% change per rotation on low and 25% on high setting, this allows for a finer control and a gain set button for mem of settings for app restarts And if this could be used with the camera to control the audio and record audio/video with external mic it would Be the best apk on google. and worth 10 bucks easy!

Really does what it says except the fact that it will not stay on I had to pay full price for this the thing will not stay on but every 30 seconds after every time I record I have to go back and restart it this is a hassle.. no that does not work I tried it actually every morning I delete it go back to the PlayStore reinstall it you know that's costing me money every bit of data that gives used I have to do that every day and yeah it sounds good for about 2 or 3 minutes and I have to do it again

this software is garbage!!!! first it tells you to install headphones or there is feedback, tried it, and it was stuck in a feedback loop, i couldn't turn it off until i went back to the program, exiting the program wasn't enough. so i ran over to get my head phones to try it again, and it said i had to wait 5 min before i can try it again... worthless garbage. edit, nice, kind of snitty response. the fact i couldn't turn it off while it happened was a problem. couldn't test it a second time without waiting is a problem. one would think it should have a feedback canceller of some kind, not everyone owns headphones.

The best you're gonna get. Trust me. Premium is only a dollar if you have a play discount, otherwise it's just 2 dollars. Additionally, I don't know what happened but I reinstalled it and there was no longer a recording delay and it sounded much different and better. Highly recommended app all around. I use it to record my drums.

This nifty app is more than that! It's easy and powerful! It's getting my rare 5*! I heard a couple in the car window shut over the (good) rock, a small airplane saying something about landing! I'm sorry that I'm cheap but it's enough for me. I've tried a few others but it's GREAT! I originally wanted to listen to the apartment theifes and I heard them coming. Two things that were bad, (ha ha) I hurt my ears when I hiccuped and when I dropped my glasses! Don't giggle either!(he he#3) he he he?

Personally I quite like the app. I can live without the equalizer. But the biggest thing I noticed while using the app was that for devices using bluetooth it wouldn't pull audio from it but instead the phone itself. Presenting unnecessary sounds when held in a pocket or other spaces. If it were possible to input an option for which mic to use that would be fantastic.

Turn your android into a bluetooth dongle! Using a TRS to TRRS cable you can use this app to turn anything with an audio out jack into a bluetooth enabled device. Other apps can't have you turn off the screen, they have bad audio quality, or have a noticeable latency. This app is literally perfect across the board and is the solution to let me listen to my shortwave radio wirelessly with only a 5 dollar cable!

It's ok. I was hoping had more volume controls. If you had a good mic you could an ant pass gas. It's not what I was looking for. I was trying to figure out how cut out my mic, yet record audio. Yeah, I really need to buckle down on the coding/Dev/app making thing because I needs an app that toggle/switch off/pause apps and I/O "stuff" because our devices are awesome!

Recent update fixed issue I was having with sounds cutting off when screen turned off! Works great now! Will give 5 stars and pay for Android Wear app companion and compatibility with touch controls on Bluetooth devices to turn on and off listening/recording. Also, the ability to turn on and off feedback so you can record without headphones and a way to sync recordings with the cloud would turn this into my daily driver for audio recordings. Great job with the last update! Thanks! 🙏

Hands Down Best microphone booster I've experienced. Definitely the loudest. Voice filter is fantastic and helpful in reducing unwanted frequencies. Can't say enough good things. About the delay of sound through the app, I don't think app developers can fix that, it's the way Android OS processes the audio. I could be wrong, I'm not a programmer nor an app developer.

I did some tests of the function, and it works very well. You can set the boost so high it hurts. But even 2x amplification can make a whisper at 2m understood. It definitely uses the phone mic, not the headset mic. About in-app: After a very short test period, only a few minutes, I had the option to wait for 5 minutes to use it again, or I could upgrade to the unlimited package for just $1.99! This is completely reasonable, for what you get. I recommend this app.

well it's an inconvenience for sure to have to keep the app open for it to work properly. my screen timeout is every 10 seconds(non activity) so if you guys can improve that as well as usage without headphones that would be awesome. I'm hearing impaired, nearly deaf. Those are my only two gripes if you will, it was nice hearing normally again. the sound everything makes, I don't wear hearing aids and I guess I kind of forgot what the world sounded like without being sounding 10 miles away

I tried 5 other "super hearing\spy" apps, all with fancy settings and all jam packed with ads. This app actually does what it says, it amplifies the sound in real time. There was barely any noticable delay when a noise was made and when it was made louder by this app. Be careful. When the sound level gets above 10, it gets LOUD! (which is what I wanted)

App is awesome! BUT I HATE THE 5 MINUTE WAIT. I don't know if this affects anyone else's phone with this app, but it doesn't close when I close the app. I have to literally turn my phone off to get it to stop. Not reboot; power OFF. I'm sure the dev's will figure it out. Still, a strong 3 stars borderline 4, and if big gets fixed and the 5 min wait removed... 5 stars easy.

This app does what its supposed to do. I've tried other hearing boost apps and they were junk. I could hear the boost the second I turned up the volume. From the sound being all the way turned off, I barely turned it up and I could hear the difference, I had an itch on my leg, i had both ear buds in and i could my scratch my leg thru my ear buds. I would HIGHLY recommend down loading this app, if your in need of a sound booster.
