Works for me, who has mild hearing issue. Handy to have a working App to plug into social conversation in situations that require its use. Not yet tried the premium features, as not needed presently. The app continues to work for me. Have no need for premium features, so that cannot offer experience on those. Appreciated the work to produce and maintain the app.

It's probably a good app and service. The other reviews are very positive. However we never got to a proper subscription as this felt too intrusive. Make a annual payment? The agreement is now valid for 10 years. One of the other options went through Google pay and wanted pictures of cards. Regardless of how normal or standard that may be, we will never do that. So as much as this should take care of your need, consider whether you don't mind this intrusion.

So far, it seems to work very well. I haven't had a chance to thoroughly test it out yet, but in order to get full usage, even in the 3 day trial period, I had to leave a review first??? Yes, a little bit bass backwards😁After a through eval, I'll update this review.

This app seems to work really well I wish there just wasn't a delay in the processing but I'm sure that's because these are wireless earbuds instead of wired ones which I don't have a headphone jack on my phone so I can't use wired heads

I use the Vue Smart Glasses with this app. I've tested quite a few apps and this one is by far the best. It's much more natural sounding. When I pair this this app to Vue via Bluetooth, people don't notice that I'm using my glasses as a hearing aid.

I have hearing loss in my right ear and with this app I can hear better such as my TV as well as other sounds. For instance I can hear my partner in our bedroom when she is cleaning watching TV etc. Overall really great app and would reccomend if you've got trouble hearing to use this app or if you just wanna amp UP the surrounding sounds really great app

I lost my hearing a week ago. This app I tried today and it started working. Did the profiles. Stopped working, when needing to perform other phone functions. Created second profile (which seems to be the max before having to pay) it started working again then stopped when again started different functions. Now I can't get it to work again. Frustrating at best.

AMENDMENT: Uninstalled. I'm using Top of the line #1 in the world market devices SAMSUNG Unlocked Galaxy Note 8 Qualcomm & SAMSUNG Verizon Galaxy Note 5 Qualcomm. I tried SONY SRSX55, SAMSUNG Gear IconX, even LG2018 (Neckbrace). There is no signal from mic on any device or accessory, if there is then, it is not going through the Bluetooth channels (freq). I tried several methods, with several devices, like (but not limited to), uninstall, clear data/cache, reinstall, restart device(s), check running apps, put ALL apps w/mic permission to sleep, (not services, firmware etc). Also ran stock debugger, (not complete, but just skimmed the data looking for (*)errors l, not thoroughly, as * do not have much experience with Java based libs, but have much experience with other industry standard multimedia platforms. I added 2 stars because devs responded, which says something good about any product. Sry it's not short, I was asked to be more detailed, so this was a basic outline.

It amplifies sound, but there is still a 1 second delay. don't know why I have to click on the headset icon for it to temporarily boost audio. Please fix the delay, I have a new phone with Android 8 and it still delays. The delay makes it difficult to hold a conversation.

This app is really helpful as well as educational when it comes to learning about the ways you hear and how the way you hear effects your speach. It also lets you move the sound around to a sort of custom sound clearing you, yes your own voice and sounds you personally make or background noises. I could go on and on about the features but Ill just say theres too much to read here about you should get this alp and try it out instead. Its worth the download amd space on your phone. I love it.

Horrible! It would be really great if there were an option to use the headset mic instead of the phone mic. It's ridiculous to think that someone holding their phone is a good idea!! This would only be good for situations where you can leave a phone on a table and pickup what you need to hear. Terrible for anything else! Having to hold the phone means the biggest thing you pick up is noise from your hands touching the mic, which friends out what needs to be heard. Uninstalling and cancelling.

I Love the Petralex app. With this app, you uncancel any noise, noise that you weren't even aware of. The adaptation course is My favorite part, it's like learning the alphabet from sounds around us. Hands down, 5 stars, but 4 stars because I am waiting for the update to fix the adaptation course crash. I paid and intend on paying for a long time to come. The team is very responsive when I voiced my concerns about the adaptation course bugs. This is my second round.

Apparently doesn't work with Bluetooth. Was going to try with bone conductive headphones. The app's hearing test stated my hearing was "normal", but I am deaf in one ear ! ( plugged in some standard headphones to get anything to work ) It kept sending the notes to the wrong ear ( " Testing left ear " ....but the notes play in the right ear. ) I quickly pressed the free trial button to see if I could get the app to do anything, and now I fear they have ( or will charge me ) DELETING

This is not a substitute for hearing aids! I was hoping that I could use these until my prescription hearing aids arrive but they just don't cut it for me. The sound is very tinny and everything sounds like it is coming from a tin can. Any movement or contact with the phone produces loud distracting sounds. There is almost no directionality possible. There is a delay to the sound so that voices are out of synch with the speakers. A subscrtion is needed for more than the most basic functions.

Great potential. Keeps crashing when trying to use the adaptation course. It worked initially but I haven't been able to continue with it. I have been testing this app to find something for my Dad who lives alone and gets less auditory interaction. I was hoping to implement this app and the course with him. Thank you for your assistance.

I'm only 32yrs old and have already struggled with hearing loss & tinnitus gor far too long. I did every possible thing WRONG when I was younger and am now paying for it- in my day to day tasks, friendships, work & relationships. My past 4yrs of having awful hearing and no money to fix it took every bad situation & made it unbearable. I was called a liar, fake & even an enemy on a weekly basis. Had I found this app sooner, my hearing would've been a nonissue because I can honestly say IT WORKS!!

I recently discovered Petralex Hearing Aid and have been thoroughly impressed with its performance. The app's adaptive course helped me get used to the hearing amplifier technology quickly, and the dynamic compression feature ensures that even the quietest sounds are amplified without losing overall volume. I highly recommend this app to anyone who needs help with their hearing.

Have found petralex to be incredibly helpful in a time of desperation and need. Among the 20-30 hearing aid apps I've downloaded, I continue to return to this one as it's most definitely the best! Although I wish the noise suppression option would be somewhat included on the free app because after using it in the trial, without it the sounds are incredibly muffled and mixed together, very difficult to discern between for certain which noise is what. Please make the noise suppression included!

I have otosclerosis with tinnitus. This app works better than any real hearing aid device that I've used. Using the microphone on the phone, rather than the headset, is genius. The phone then becomes a remote mic that, for example, I can place in the center of the boardroom table during meetings. The slight audio delay is mildly disconcerting, but not enough to lose a star!

I'm using Galaxy S8. Right now I only have wired headphones to try with this app. With free version, I think it performs really well considering real-time sound. It doesn't lag at all in my case. I also tried 2-3 apps but they have sound lag really bad. For bluetooth headsets, I'll update again if they work the same as wired ones after I receive my order. In my opinion, it would be great if you charge only one time instead of subscription though. For the comment about this app doesn't work, my assumption is, the mic doesn't pick up any sound at all. I had this problem too. In my case, I installed other apps as I mentioned earlier and they might authorize the mic instead of this app. I fixed this issue by uninstalling all other hearing aids apps and completely closed this app. After I open this app again, it works normally. [For now]
