how exactly does this app work? Even searching for an area in Kenya using coordinates is a problem...the app usually suggests three addresses from America. 02.09.2020 Thanks for your prompt reply and action, the feature to search and add places using coordinates is now available. 5 stars.

I want to update the map to make map better. But my updates was still under review. If u will allow us to update map at our end thn we can make map better at local level. But if our suggestions will not be considered than why we should help to update map.

This app is very out of date. It needs to be updated with a new design to match the new WeGo app. Plus, it isn't possible to sign in with Facebook, which is what I use to sign into my HERE account. Oh, and the app uses a lot of battery while in use. Too much I should say.

I can't rate this app as I have just installed it. I have been working away for hours on my PC using the web version of the "Here map creator". My 1 and only question is... will my edits be added to future "Here map updates"? If not how can I export and import my fixes and edits to all of my devices?

I managed to update road name through this app. It took 1-2 months to review and confirm, but now it is corrected. As Škoda is using Here maps, I got maps updated also in my Kodiaq! Even if it's not super user friendly app, the job was done!

the app itself is fairly decent and has a lot of potential the problem is the review process for edits on here Maps the reviewers or hair professionals as they call themselves reject nearly every edit that is visible in satellite view let alone the ones that are done by local editors who live and work in the area doing ones that are not visible satellite view by uploading GPS traces.

When I report a missing road for our newly built housing, I don't seem to see it in my feeds tab. I can see the house numbers I've added in the address tab but report for the roads are always empty. Also no clear indication of when reports will be approved.

It was functioning once and then at start just a rotating circle is visible. Adding a new address location has no accuracy as in the online browser er was. The new point will be placed somewhere in the upper than the point was pinned by you.

*** UPDATE: Language selection is now available on the new version. ***Initial Review Language selection is not available! I have several language keyboards installed on my phone as I reply to messages from friends speaking different languages. App has decided that Greek is the only language for me - there is no option to change it. I am currently in the UK. A famous search engine also does stupid things like this by changing to Arabic when you land at a relevant airport... Really??? Taken to the extreme... I'll be skilled in martial arts the use of chopsticks when I fly to China or enter a Chinese restaurant?

The app is ok, however with so many errors in the mapping its difficult to add in adjustments with so few options. Particularly for road closures, where they haven't been constructed to start with. I also not a few of these I added as other road closures, have been removed again.

This is a great alternative to pointman. It's feature set is not as broad but as a free app and the ability to down load and use it off line I've been promoting it and here we go versus pointman and Google maps. We can work together to create maps and that bottom up structure is honestly a great means to achieve an ends. The only reason why Google are I guess "anything but evil" is because they are so slimy and unethical by laundering what'd be criminal for an individual human to do.

Unfortunately the app does not link into the offline maps of the here app. That makes it useless in situations where data roaming can't be used due to high costs of Int'l data roaming. Even after downloading full maps via wifi of my surroundings before leaving the hotel, I could not get the app to show a map when driving. Kind of useless if neither option of having an offline map don't work.

1. Mobile Map creator is missing display check option in mobile mapcreator as In web mapcreator. 2. Uploading size should be increased to 15mb, now a days every cellphone photos are having close to 10mb when captured with high quality image. I am trying to upload photos but I am recieving invalid format as an error with error code 500. Not sure what it is but seems to be image size issue. 3. No option for reporting an issue, we have that function in web app but not on mobile app?

My car uses HERE. I search for a place. Find it and am driven close, but not to, the place. On this app you can see the place in the right location but if you search for the place, it shows at the wrong location. But you can't fix this. You can only create a new place. I just want to say, the search for a place is sending me to the wrong location. About 20% of all places I search are in the wrong location by about 200-500 metres. No easy way to fix this on HERE, unlike Google maps.

The app is simple to use and reflect your edit right away. Only thing bother me is that the app is laggy, moving the maps around has significant lagging and the maps tend to move more than what your finger scroll. This is very annoying, as you can't pan the map to a location exactly you want.. If you want to motivate your users, please set up a point or badge reward system. This is volunteering works but we would like to be appreciated in some ways. Thanks.

I have a very bad user experience with them. I have sent them a message, even to an e-mail address, and ask them to modify a road status that is open for cars for over 9 months, and even today that road appears closed on Here maps (all other apps like Waze, Organic Maps, Petal, Magic Earth etc. have changed the road status to open). If that area is not familiar for a driver and he uses Here WeGo maps, he must made a 40 km detour because the road appears closed on their maps.

Logs me out every time I close the app. No option to add a bus stop, only bus stations. We can't help this company if they don't fix this app but if you want to contribute to free maps worldwide that anyone can use join the open source effort of Open Street Maps. Look for the Android app called "OSMAnd" on the Google play store and sign up to start editing!
