I was so excited when I first downloaded this app. I was able to utilize the free chapters and coins to get invested in a story. Because I enjoyed it and wanted to support the app, I decided to make a purchase - BIGGEST MISTAKE! Making a purchase removed any/all free episodes. When I reached out to their support department, I was told "free episodes are for new users." So to spell it out: this app is great until you make a purchase, then you're not valued, wanted. Customer retention has no value

This app is a total scam. You have to watch 30 minutes of adds to get points to read a book ( or purchase points). I've payed over 100.00 for a book and have waited for the author to post more chapters (because I got hooked on a book) so I've been just collecting points for almost 2 weeks waiting on a new chapter only to have my time waisted because the points were disappearing. Went from 726 points down to 480, and I didn't read anything and none of the bonus points even added to my points.

Its so much cheaper to buy books off of Amazon or straight out of Barnes and Noble. Being charged per chapter is ridiculous in every possible sense. Wattpad is free. Same amount of spelling and grammar errors, just cost free. All the comment replies from hinovel are telling people to hit up customer service and go through that hassle. Easier to simply uninstall. 😬

The story lines are wonderful.....however what is being paid to read them is very disappointing. When it is all said and done....you have paid over 100 dollars just to read a book. Not worth it. PLEASE I BEG.....can someone anyone tell me how to unsubscribe from this app. I just realized i've been paying these people for an subscription i've not used for months (9), and don't ever want to use again 🙃.

It's an obnoxious amount of money to read ONE book. It wouldn't be too bad if the chapters didn't cost 100+ points and you can only earn 10 pts per video and can only watch 10 videos per day. That's sometimes not even enough to read one chapter. There's a spinning wheel, but it doesn't spin and you'll never win any more than 5 pts, with the option to increase it to 10 if you watch a video. Especially for books that are not written very well. Grammar and spell errors like crazy.

Good reading app with a few issues. Some of the chapters repeat themselves and have grammer/spelling errors. The one big issue with this app is you get hooked on reading a book, then are charged a ridiculous amount (100 or more points) to unlock the next charpter, when you only get 15 daily points. I'm not sure I'm going to keep using it for that reason. I've already spent alot for one book and haven't been able to read much of it. If the price of each chapter was lower, it would be a great app.

Very poor grammar. There are way too many chapters to keep paying for. It's very inconvenient and just takes way to long to earn credits. Maybe if things are improved it would be better. Easier ways to earn credits. Watch videos or download other apps... Something that doesn't take so much time to earn. Long books like the one I'm reading shouldn't take so many credits for each chapter. You get invested in a story and the end seems to get further away. Very disappointing. Uninstalling.

This app is a complete rip off. You're looking at spending at the very least 100$ on each book. The one I started reading has 160 chapters with chapters costing upwards of 140 coins. And no, they're not long chapters. You get 5000 coins with 1500 bonus for 50$. Daily rewards are only 15 bonus. There are other apps that are way less expensive with high rewards. They lie to you saying this money goes to the author...no author would charge that insane amount for a book.

Edit to add. After this review they emailed me asking to change my review to 5 stars and show them that i did via Facebook, and they would reward me with 400 coins. Not going to lie in my review for a few chapters worth coins Expensive books! The first few chapters are free.. then you'd be better off to go buy a book! Watch a ton of videos to get bonus coins, and lucky wheel 95% of the time only gives you 5. Waste of time and a lot of $ if you just want to read through a book at your own pace.

Too expensive. Cost 50 coins or more per chapter. This book is over 800 chapters. At the different coin levels it would cost over $400 to read if topping up at the lower levels. $200 if using the $99 top up option or $150 with a membership. All too expensive for one book. You can get so many good e books, even self published, online from $5 to $25. The whole book. You can even get audio books for cheaper than this. There are other pay as you go apps like this one that are way cheaper as well.

UPDATE: I have yet to great anything and it's been two weeks. Even after the update. The first week was great! I could gain rewards, check in, and use play credit to buy extra chapters. About a week ago all of that stopped. I keep seeing "Operation Failed" or another error message whenever I try to gain rewards. I can't even get my coins to unlock new chapters. I've already emailed customer service and haven't heard anything. I want to read this book but I can't! Please fix this!

It will let you read for free for the first 8 chapters. I was starting to feel engrossed, I had to buy tokens in order to continue reading! I spent $2.99 for 320 tokens(more or less) and had to use 20 tokens for every chapter thereafter! Story went downhill, believe me! Not worth it! Read all the reviews to be convinced. They have several apps that have different names with same books, they have paid adds on FB and it keep on popping up on your feed. Learned my lesson 😂 Uninstalled!

Beyond disappointed! 😔😠😡🤬 I ordered a subscription. 1st it took double the pay, then took over 5 hours to get the coins from the subscription. 2nd I bought extra coins (which I still have not received) but got charged double on that as well. I have emailed them, along with doing online for messenger but I have not heard anything! This is not cool. I think I'm just going to cancel my subscription. I will just take the loss over over $46 dollars because of this. I wouldn't recommend this site.

Not the best app. You have to either pay to read each very poorly written chapter or watch 20-30 min of ads to read 2, very poorly written chapters. It has a "spin the wheel" but it is rigged to only give you 5-7 points each time. I wish the future writers on this app the best of luck, but it is cheaper to go on kindle and buy a book to read, as well as it being a good book. Also I have found that a lot of these books are very poorly written versions of other books, so, there's that I guess.

I'm not sure why this app/these books are so popular. You have to keep buying coins to read one book, and it adds up quickly. You spend ten times more on an incomplete novel than you would if you had, for example, kindle unlimited. The stories that I have attempted to read on here are very amateur. C+ writing, grammar, and plot. Most of the stories just never seem to progress. The conflicts just vary to a new antagonist. Overall, it's just wayyyyy too expensive for an incomplete novel.

I got hooked with one of the stories and haven't been able to stop reading it. I love the convenience on my phone to read between busy times. The grammar isn't too hard to decipher. I do wish it didn't cost so much to read the stories. The check ins are nice and the wheel has worked for me. But the chapters aren't long enough for what you have to pay (in coins or actual dollars for the coins). I feel if you have over "100 chapters", every so often should be a free chapter or two.

I like the story! And like getting options to pay or watch ads. The wheel offers 100 or 200 but up until now I've been going in each day and still never got them. When I finish my story and didnt get either prize at least a couple times then, I will remove the app. I cant always pay and if you are going to put those as possibilities to get but never let us get them. Then it's not worth going in each day.
