Overpriced and not true estimates before booking the job. $10-$15.00 difference final fare. You can get a taxi easier, however, you will pay for an additional job. Dumb

I can't seem to add my payment information. There's no option, so when I click Send Request, it tells me to choose my payment option... but I can't because payment option tab doesn't come up

I have an amazing experience each time i use this app! My only issue is the map doesn't always pick up the correct address of my location so the driver has to call me to see where i am. I love it otherwise

This is by far the worst experience I have ever had. Not only did they pre auth my card for over $400 I waited 4 hours for no cab to show up. Ain't no one have time or money for that!

Update broke the app. Can choose starting point and ending point but can't actually request the ride. I've been emailing about it for weeks... Still no fix.

Disappointed in Hitch during our recent Bermuda trip. We tried several days in a row to get a ride, but no one would pick us up. We could see several vehicles in the area on the map, but none accepted our ride requests.

Old and New phone got accounts mixed up and now my account is being used by some other person I dont know about and that has access to my details.... contacted these guys several times to get it sorted but they are clueless.... very disappointing as otherwise the app worked well for me while I was able to actually use it with privacy

After installing the app and after providing start and end location I don't get any booking option anywhere on the screen though cars are showing on the screen. Very clueless on this issue. It would be great if app has some good app support team which can rectify this issue for a customer. I am unable to use this app at all !!

It's a bermuda taxi service but forced to pay in US$ incurring exchange fees and taxes when using my Bermuda credit/debit card.

Both my husband and myself have been trying to install this app for a couple of days whilst in Bermuda. The installation process wants to send you a one time passcode but never does so. Then if that fails they offer to call you but that never happens either. So it is actually impossible to sign up.

PERFECT! If you are in Bermuda with your smartphone, this app is a must-have! It's just like Uber. Hailing a cab off the street can be a tough experience. With this tool, simply enter where you need to be picked up(just use the GPS feature) along with your destination. It shows you an estimated fare along with a guess as to how long it should take for the cab to pick you up. Order your cab and track their arrival on a map! This is extremely convenient for getting around the island.

It is frustrating that often you look, and see many cars that appear to be available, then when you try to actually book one no one says available. Would be nice if drivers that have gone off shift could turn their availability off so that only truly available cars showed up. Also being able to pre-book a time would be a huge bonus.

Hitch is not entirely bad as a app. It does make getting a taxi a lot more easier. But the problem is availability. So many cars can be seen on the map yet the request keeps being rejected. At first use I was always able to get taxi. Now every other day or when I'm in need of taxi I'm waiting maybe 30 minutes to hour in hope my request would be accepted. Most times I'm better off flagging down a taxi. Just something needs to change.

Similar to other reviews, the app works pretty well at times but overstates the current availability. Even with taxis showing on the map the result is often that no cars are currently available. Also the app seems to draw against my credit card even before the taxi is confirmed, leading to the card being temporarily blocked after searching several times for an available taxi.

It works okay but it's not on the same level as Uber or Lyft in other places. A lot of drivers will cancel and may not know where you are despite sharing location or where you may be going. The most frustrating part is how inaccurate the estimated cost is. My last trip was nearly double the projected cost. It's better to find a taxi driver and get their numbers. The plus of the app is you can pay by credit card.

Takes too long to actually get a driver, you get "no drivers available" about 90% of the time. Should have an option just to request a taxi without having to select a driver. Supposedly, there are 500 taxis on the island but only a handful of drivers show on the app. Quicker and less frustrating just to call for a cab. Problems all fixable and a good concept, but a ways to go.
