I had some issues trying to activate my esim. When I contacted the support via WhatsApp, Dax was very helpful and guided me throughout the process. In the end, I was able to activate my esim, and my data is working perfectly.

App itself seems good but the Holafly service kinda sucks. It was quick to throttle data and I would have been better off with a plan that wasn't touted as "Unlimited".

Used this while in New york for 5 days, price was very good and using it was quite simple and it worked very well no problems from the minute I connected in the airport, made things a lot easier. A great experience and I will not hesitate to use Holafly again when i need to. Excellent service. 10/10

They sell and don't give support, they billed me an eSim for Europe, I'm in Turkey and it doesn't work, I had to buy a normal Vodafone SIM because Holafly doesn't give support, don't spend your money on these people. Many youtubers have had the same problem. *The comment was edited hereafter. The problem was yesterday 06/19/24, today 06/20/24 they reply me that they are not going to refund me the full money that because I used esim, and it never worked because of Holafly problems.

First couple of days had to keep disabling and re-enabling mobile data so that Google Maps would do a search. Each search after this process had to be repeated. Last couple days of the 10 day trip the connection worked better. Total data used is 36MB over a 10 day period. You can imagine how little that actually is. Will definitely try a different service next time. They would have to pay me to use this again

There's a few minor hurdles in using the application like how we're required to reach out to the staff through email to be able to activate topups, so the application is not as convenient in that sense. However, the customer service is truly excellent. Despite the hiccups you may face, you can be assured that the staff are really friendly, prompt and meticulous with their assistance and guidance :) Overall, it makes for a really pleasant experience with their kind attention to detail!

Really Really great support service. Ive had trouble activating my sim on two occasions BUT it did not matter because every device can be different and the support team just sorted it out quickly by telling me the correct steps to take. The specialists name was ROSA and i just thought they should get a metion because Rosa was just great help

Spent 7 days using Holafly in El Salvador. I had frequent data "freezes" where I would lose connectivity randomly. At least 5 or 6 times. It helped to Google and update the APN settings. Overall not as reliable as I would have needed it to be.

I tried Holafly in HKG and JPN. The instructions are outlined and straightforward. It offers unlimited data with varying length of days; customer service is quick-to-reply and effective. It is relatively pricier, but the connectivity is instant, stable, and reliable...seamless.

Terrible, absolute waste of money a time! Got to my destination thinking I would turn this service on, hop in an Uber and be on my way BUT it just plain didn't work. I tried for 2 hours, even had an IT guy with me and still nothing. Couldn't contact support because I had no data to find the number. Customer service (2 mths later) offered a portion back but seemed like an insult and morally wrong. Also they made a comment "hoping I was feeling well" which felt condescending since frustrated.

I am deeply disappointed with the e-sim company's service. I purchased e-sims for 8 days. After using an e-sim for 24 hours, it stopped working, leaving me stranded abroad without reliable communication. Despite attempting to reach customer service for (3) hours, they have been unresponsive and unhelpful. If you get disconnected you will have to start the process all over again. They offered me a refund for a total of 8.40 euros out of the 56 euros I paid when I had no service for 3 days.

We purchased a regional eSim for our Asia trip last month. It costs around USD$50 for 15 days. The installation was pretty easy with the QR Code. Then it's only a matter of defining which SIM card you'll be using for mobile data in your phone settings and you are good to go. We visited Vietnam, Cambodia,Malaysia, Singapur and had layovers in Taiwan and Japan. We had stable Internet connection pretty much everywhere. 4G the lowest speed connection we had. Highly recommended

My initial experience was not promising. I downloaded the app after which the Holafly logo appeared as expected. Pressing this opened the app which then invited me to upgrade it. I pressed the upgrade button which brought me back to where I had been. Thus, I found that I was in a loop. Very annoying.

Used in Hong Kong. Even with full 5G signal strength on a pixel 8 Pro, latency was 500ms....atrocious. not sure what kind of peering and backhaul is going on, but clearly traffic is routed via Antarctica via the North Pole, bounced off Mars and then to the destination or something akin to that. I'm not game to try this service again. Terrible and not fit for purpose. Better off using a local telco tourist Sim in each destination.

Service works well. But buyer beware, no matter what I do, the sim reports that I am in Hong Kong (I am using this in Mexico). This leads to tiktok not loading as it is disabled in that region. This has also lead to other sites not allowing us to connect as they block all access to Hong Kong. Always download your travel docs before you go! Many of these travel sites were unable to load because of this issue

I used an e-SIM and purchased data, which gave me unlimited access to the internet and proved extremely useful. It would be great if they also sold a SIM for voice calls. I was uncertain about when the plan began and ended, and whether I could send texts for free on this plan. Customer service was OK. Overall, it was a great service that connected easily.

I traveled from South Africa to Paris recently and was struggling to find an affordable e-sim that was compatible with my S24. I almost gave up until I found Holafly. I can honestly tell you it was a life saver. It was simple and safe to download, and it worked instantly. It didn't lose reception in the metro and was perfect for use while using maps and walking the streets.

I honestly can't say if the eSIM does the job or not, as I have only been (trying) to use it for 24 hours. However I can say the set-up is not straightforward, and if you are not a Mastermind-level expert on the Settings menus on your phone it's probably not for you. They cannot tell you where to find the particular critical settings on your phone's menus, and even the trusty Search function may let you down. Help staff nice, but it takes forever plus a crash course on screenshots!

Holafly is great when it works, infuriating when it doesn't, which happens far too often. I used holafly in Poland because I was unsatisfied with my local orange sim. Holafly made it easy to switch between different network operators and it was unlimited which is hard to find in Poland. However there are many times when it would just stop working altogether. No connection to internet at all. I had to contact support and they would usually fix it right then and there, or they wouldn't respond

The app now allows me to sign in. If I use the Google sign in option, it works without a hitch. However, if I try to sign in by manually entering my email, there is no space to enter the code it sends to my email address. The data service itself is good. It's reliable and setup was super easy. However, speeds fluctuate from pretty fast to incredibly slow in Mexico. I'll test it in Spain in a few weeks to see if it works better there.
